COVID-19 Precautions The safety of our Girl Scouts is always our first priority. GSCB summer camps will operate at 50% capacity for 2022 in order to ensure distancing and sanitation guidelines can be followed at all times. Participating Girl Scouts will be required to have a signed GSCB COVID-19 Liability Waiver on file. In addition, Girl Scouts can expect the following during their stay: • Screening procedures on arrival including temperature checks, questionnaires and hand washing.

• Campers must wear a mask indoors.

• Hand-washing built into the activity schedule.

• Focus on small group activities.

• Sanitizing frequently-touched areas regularly.

Camp Threads All 2022 campers will receive a free t-shirt and fun patch. Shout out to our V.I.C.’s (Very Invested Camper) for helping us choose our t-shirt color and design!

Camp Care Packages For resident campers only: Parents & Caregivers can send their camper some love through a Camp Care Package delivered during their stay at camp. Care packages include a bucket hat, cooling face mask and a pair of color-changing sunglasses! The cost is $30.00, available for purchase during registration.

A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.

Financial Assistance Financial Assistance is available on a case-by-case basis. For those interested in applying, you can access the application during the registration process and will be contacted regarding approval. The $50.00 deposit will still be required at registration if you apply for Financial Assistance. Should the deposit be a financial burden, please call 800-341-4007 or email MemberCare@cbgsc.org.

Using Cookie Dough Earned Cookie Dough through the Fall Product or Cookie Programs?

You can use it towards camp registration! Isn’t that nifty? To use your Cookie Dough, register for camp and pay the $50.00 deposit. Then, complete the GSCB Cookie Dough Redemption Form and select “GSCB Camp” to have your balance applied to your camp fees. You will be responsible for paying the remaining balance, if any, after your Cookie Dough has been applied. Reach out to Member Care team at MemberCare@cbgsc.org or 800-341-4007 for assistance or to check your Cookie Dough balance.

Cancellation Policy A written request is required for all camp registration changes or cancellations. Your request must be submitted prior to the start of your camp session to be considered for a refund. The $50.00 deposit is non-refundable.

Camp Registration Summer Camp 2022 registration opens February 2nd, 2022 at 7:00AM EST at www.gscb.org.

Do yourself a solid and register early! Our camps are operating at 50% capacity, which means spots are limited.

To get through registration easy-peasy, have the following prepared and ready to go: • All camper medical insurance details (carrier, name of insured policy holder, policy/group numbers, insurance company phone number, etc.)

• Camper physician and dentist information (name, address, phone) • Immunization records • Medical condition details and disease/health history • Camper medication/prescription details (name of drug, dosage instructions, etc.)

You must enter all information in one sitting (one hour or less).

Teen Leadership Programs Calling all camp-loving teens! Join us for a far-out leadership experience this summer! Program Aides (Grades 8-9) and Counselors in Training One and Two (Grades 10-12*) dive into the camp experience, honing their leadership skills as they work with younger Girl Scouts at summer camp. You must register for this program

by March 31st, 2022. Limited spots available.

Program Aides focus on working with instructors in program areas like waterfront, archery, environmental education, and art & crafts.

Counselors in Training focus on working with counselors and a group of campers throughout their week.

All girls will be introduced to group leading skills, behavior management, and so much more!

This program occurs over two consecutive weeks (Sunday July 31st to Friday August 5th and Sunday August 7th to Friday August 12th) with plenty of time for training, experience, and play. Program Aides and Counselors in Training do go home for the weekend. *Girl Scouts must be entering Grade 12 in the Fall of 2022. High School graduates will not be able to serve as C.I.T.s.

Staying Connected at Camp Nothing quite compares to a handwritten note from home. We are happy to pass along letters to our campers.

To send via email: Email camp@cbgsc.org with the subject “Camper Mail - First Name, Last Initial”.

Physical letters can be dropped off at checkin to be delivered throughout the week. We do not recommend mailing letters through the post office as it is not the most timely route for our location.

Send your camper with a card, envelope and stamp and we will encourage her to write home!

Summer Round Up A Volunteer-Led Camping Opportunity When? Sunday, July 24th - Friday, July 29th Where? Camp Todd Who? Girl Scouts entering grades 1-12 (must have completed Kindergarten) Summer Round Up is an exciting camp experience, run by an excellent group of volunteers, in it’s 34th year of serving GSCB Girl Scouts!

Show our Girl Scout Camps some LOVE On Saturday, March 19th, 2022, GSCB is holding our first-ever Peninsula Day of Service! Join us at Camp Country Center, Camp Todd, Camp Grove Point or Camp Sandy Pines for unit and activity inventory, signage updates, deep cleaning and additional service project opportunities.

Come as a group, or a family! All our welcome. Participating Girl Scouts and volunteers will receive a free Peninsula Day of Service fun patch.
