Use your GSCB Program Passport to make the most of your Girl Scout year!

The GSCB Program Passport is back. Look out for yours in your mailbox this September! We’ve made some slight adjustments from last year: • Instead of a booklet, the Passport Card is easily stored in a wallet, handbag or on a lanyard.

• Troop Leaders, Service Unit Managers, and GSCB Staff are now able to check off activities for you.

• Checking off activities is as easy as punching a hole, marking with a permanent marker, or using a small sticker of your choice.

• Complete at least 6 activities for a prize. Complete all 12 for an upgraded prize!

• The Older Girl Leadership Express Pass gives more experienced girls opportunities to hone their leadership skills.

Program on the Move Your troop, Service Unit, or group of Juliettes can experience hands-on Girl Scout programming, led by our awesome GSCB Staff, FREE and at the location of your choice! Choose from exciting program topics like Circuits, Robotics, Art Exploration, Content Creation, Improv, and more!

Plus, all Girl Scouts who participate in a Program on the Move experience will receive a Program on the Move patch. Reservations for the fall will open 9/1/23.

Look no further - we have what you’re looking for: • Discover Delmarva - Explore the Delmarva Peninsula the Girl Scout way by learning what makes our area unique, exploring the flora and fauna you might find across the peninsula, and practicing your outdoor skills.

• Moon Mayhem - The outdoors after dark? It’s not as spooky as it sounds, especially when you’re with your Girl Scout sisters. Discover the different full moons for each month of the year and complete an activity that goes along with it.

Adventurer Patch - Showcase your outdoor progression by completing the DAY full Adventurer Patch Program. Purchase your Adventurer patch center during registration for any Adventurer event, and earn the Overnight and Weekend add-ons by attending an Adventurer Overnight and an Adventurer Weekend. V.I.C. (Very Invested Camper) Program The V.I.C. Program is BACK for it’s fourth year!! The popular outdoor program gives Girl Scouts who are most dedicated to outdoor experiences four exclusive outdoor events, opportunities to give their input on outdoor and camp programming, free SWAG, and a quarterly newsletter chock full of activities, outdoor facts, and more.

All levels are welcome! Enrollment is open September 1st - November 30th. Cost is $25/yr. V.I.C.’s must have an active 2023-24 Girl Scout Membership at the time of enrollment to be eligible. Learn more at www.gscb.org/specialinterest.

Highest Awards Only a select number of Girl Scouts each year can celebrate earning the highest level award for their program level - the Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award. Will you be one of them this year? Taking on a highest awards project is a significant commitment, but trust us, creating a sustainable impact on your community and addressing a problem you feel passionate about is SO worth it!

Travel the World with Girl Scouts GSCB has two volunteer-led travel groups - the GSCB Trailblazer Travel Group (AKA Troop 280) and the Older Girl Travel Group (AKA Team Flamingo) - that give your Girl Scout the opportunity to see the world! These groups challenge girls to fundraise and set goals towards travel beyond their current troop participation. Some recent destinations of these groups are Switzerland, London, Paris, Italy, and Greece. Girls must be 14+ to participate.

Program Descriptions All GSCB Outdoor Overnight programs held April 17th through October 31st will be sleeping in rustic adirondacks or canvas tent units. Rustic adirondacks or canvas tent units have small sleeping units of four in cots or wooden bunk beds. The campsite with multiple sleeping units will have running water and flushing toilets. Showers are located nearby.

Adventurer Weekend

Where will your adventures in the outdoors take you this time? How about one of our beautiful camp properties or a state park within our footprint, where the potential to connect with nature has no limit. Join your Girl Scout sisters as they boldly try their hand at new skills like archery and slingshot, feel the magic of an evening campfire, and reinforce friendships through team building activities. Fuel up for the weekend activities with provided meals: Friday evening dessert, all Saturday meals, Sunday breakfast, and snacks. Troops and individual Girl Scouts alike are invited to explore one of our camp properties or local state parks with us. Get in the weeds (literally) of nature exploration, try a new outdoor skill like archery or slingshot, snuggle up and sleep tight in cozy tents or cabins, then say “Sayonara!” - at least until next time! Wrap up the night with a toasty campfire that will warm you from your heart to your toes! Seal the memory with a fun patch for the back of your vest or sash, included in your program fee. This camping weekend is a family affair. Camp is the perfect backdrop for strengthening your family bond, appreciating nature and the science of the many ecosystems you’ll be visiting, and challenging yourselves to new outdoor skills. Hit a bullseye at the archery range, take home a win from the Gaga Ball pit, or find a new path to take on the beautiful hiking trails. Available activities depend on camp location and weather.
