GIRL SCOUTS 2026-2027 Program Guide
1
Dear Girl Scout Family, As I begin my journey as Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay, I am honored to welcome you to a new Girl Scout year filled with opportunities for adventure, growth, and connection. It is a privilege to join an organization with such a rich legacy of empowering girls, and I am excited to share all that our incredible team has planned for the year ahead. The dedicated staff at Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay thoughtfully developed this program guide with the voices of our girls, caregivers, and volunteers at the heart of every decision. Whether you are just beginning your Girl Scout journey or have years of memories and traditions behind you, I am confident you will find something inspiring within these pages. This guide reflects our continued commitment to delivering high-quality opportunities rooted in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. From earning badges and building new skills to forming lifelong friendships and discovering new passions, every program is designed to provide hands-on learning, meaningful connections, and, of course, plenty of fun. Girl Scout adventures are the best kind. As you gather for your first troop meetings and dream about what you hope to accomplish this year, I encourage you to use this guide as your roadmap to explore new possibilities and create memories that will last a lifetime. I am thrilled to embark on this new chapter alongside all of you and look forward to seeing Girl Scouts across the Delmarvalous Delmarva Peninsula embracing every opportunity to lead, learn, and explore. Here’s to an amazing year ahead!

Supporting GSCB Choosing to make a donation to Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay helps us mold tomorrow’s leaders by providing ongoing support, resources, and access to further Girl Scout opportunities. Together, we’re building a generation of strong, resilient, and empowered young women. Your gift will be used to ensure local Girl Scouts gain the skills and confidence needed to accept challenges, overcome obstacles, and become leaders. Plus, every dollar you give stays right here in our community! Gifts can be made anytime online at www.gscb.org/donate. You can also support during annual giving days like Giving Tuesday (Dec. 1, 2026) and DoMore24 (March 2027), or by participating in a fundraising event. New this year! The Helen Wronski “Spark” Award Our Board of Directors has come together to honor previous Interim CEO Helen Wronski with the establishment of the Helen Wronski Spark Award - an annual scholarship granted to one graduating senior from each of our three association areas who demonstrates exceptional courage and character. A committee of Girl Scouts will design the application and serve as the judges, ensuring the power to recognize leadership stays where it belongs: with the girls. If you’re interested in contributing to the Helen Wronski Spark Award fund, we encourage you to visit www.gscb.org/donate and submit a designated gift or contact our Philanthropy team directly.
Shop Girl Scout Merchandise Girl Scouting is better with merch! Our goal is to bring you the apparel, accessories, and fun patches you want to show off your GSCB pride at an accessible price point.
