Highest Awards Gold Award Rock stars, role models, and reallife heroes. How do they do it? By using everything they’ve learned as a Girl Scout to solve a problem in their community or make a lasting change in their world.

Seniors and Ambassadors who want to go for the Gold Award build a team of trusted adults, peers, and leaders in their community to guide them through challenges and support their success.

Silver Award Ready to help your community and earn one of the highest awards in Girl Scouting?

Cadettes can team up with a small group of fellow Girl Scouts or work on their own. To earn the Silver Award, you will research an issue you care about, make a plan to address it, and then take action to improve your community.

It all starts here. Juniors team up with fellow Girl Scouts to explore their community, discover a need or issue they care about, and work together to address it. It’s a chance to create a plan and make an impact on the community they live in.

Plus? Nothing beats that feeling of seeing real, lasting, and sustainable change and knowing it was you who made it happen. It changes the way you see your place in the world —and how the world sees you.

The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest achievement in Girl Scouting, and today, we honor the visionaries This is a self-paced training. The Highest Awards in Girl Scouting are named after who earned it. This ceremony isn't precious metals. The Bronze Award is the highest award a Junior can earn and the just about a pin; it’s a tribute to the training is optional but highly suggested.

Gold Award Training: In-Person and Virtual Check Event Calendar for Specfic Dates S

This training, whether in-person or virtual, includes how to choose a topic for a Gold Award project, an overview of the GoGold software, how to submit the proposal, what all is included in the approval process, and a summary of how to complete and submit your final report. Any Girl Scout between 9th - 12th grade may attend to learn more about the Gold Award process.

Media Corps Applications for Media Corps 26-27 will open in May 2026.

Learn more at gs-top.org/mediacorps Media Corps is a group of Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors trained in all aspects of media throughout the year. Media Corps members learn how to develop, create, and write for digital, print, and video media. They also have opportunities to learn from professionals in the field.

This GSTOP leadership course, required for the Program Aide Award, teaches girls how to mentor and share their skills with younger Girl Scouts. Join us for a hands-on Girl Scout Letterboxing Badge event where girls will explore letterboxing, a mix of art, problem-solving, and outdoor adventure, while earning their badge.

Girls will learn how letterboxing differs from geocaching, create and decorate a personal stamp, follow clues and maps to find letterboxes, record discoveries in a logbook, and work together to solve clues.

Each girl will receive her Letterboxing Badge and a Letterboxer Kit with a personal stamp, ink pad, logbook, and pencil. Come ready to explore, create, and have fun!

It’s a time where we join in paying tribute to the generations of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders who have enriched the history of the United States and are instrumental in its future success. Stuffy Goes to Camp!

Give your favorite stuffed friend a weekend full of adventure! Participants will drop off their stuffy on Friday and pick it up on Sunday, receiving letters and photos that capture all the fun as their stuffed companion enjoys classic camp activities.

On Sunday morning, girls can visit the camp to see where their stuffy slept, ate, and played, getting a glimpse of the summer camp experience firsthand. This program is designed to help girls feel comfortable and confident about attending camp on their own while sparking imagination, excitement, and a love for camp traditions.

Bridging Cermonies Bridging is a beloved Girl Scout tradition that honors girls’ achievements throughout the year and celebrates their “crossing the bridge” to the next Girl Scout level.

It’s a defining moment when a Girl Scout becomes aware of her achievements and is ready for new adventures and responsibilities. Celebrating this change should be fun, personalized, and memorable for everyone involved. And most of all, it should be designed by the girls in true partnership with adults.

In this training, you can earn your Babysitting Certification (valid for two years) and the option to earn First Aid and CPR Certification (also valid for two years), preparing you to be a safe, reliable caregiver.

Certification is issued by the American Red Cross upon successful course completion. Participants must complete a required online course before the inperson training. A link will be sent one week prior.

Whether you're new to babysitting or already caring for younger siblings, this American Red Cross Babysitting Certification helps you build skills and confidence. In this training, you can earn your Babysitting Certification (valid for two years) and the option to earn First Aid and CPR Certification (also valid for two years), preparing you to be a safe, reliable caregiver.

Certification is issued by the American Red Cross upon successful course completion. Participants must complete a required online course before the in-person training. A link will be sent one week prior. Cadettes may purchase their Babysitting Badge at a Girl Scout shop.

This is a GSTOP designed leadership course which is required to complete the Program Aide Award. Learn valuable skills about being a mentor and sharing your skills, passions and experience with younger Girl Scouts! Program Aides have the unique opportunity to serve as champions of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. All girls who are currently in the 6th-8th grade are invited to attend Program Aide Training session on their way to completing the steps of the Program Aide Award. PA training involves learning to work with children and adapting activities for special needs and situations. You will put your new skills to the test with activities that will prepare you for real life situations working with younger girls at troop, day camp, council and service unit events.

All fairy students who have earned their fairy wings will become a Fairy Princess at the graduation ceremony of Fairy University! All participants will receive a Fun Patch. Note: Adult needed to meet Safety activity Checkpoint adult ratios per troop. What begins with Girl Scouts speaking up at a troop meeting can go all the way to speaking in front of their city council for a cause they champion—and they’ll have your support to thank for it.

Your volunteer role makes a powerful difference: Girl Scouts wouldn’t exist without volunteers like you. And your first step as a troop leader may lead you to other volunteer opportunities once this year is over.

We’ll say it again: without our passionate and dedicated volunteers, there would be no Girl Scouting. That’s why we celebrate National Volunteer Month every April (including National Volunteer Week the third week of that month) and turn up the party as we ring in National Girl Scout Leader’s Day on April 22.
