The first dances were rituals. In prehistoric times, people danced to express their needs and feelings.

These dances have changed over the centuries. They no longer mean the same thing. But many dances have the same rhythmic structure as in the past.

Propulsion is a way of moving in water. To propel yourself forwards or backwards you need to use your arms and legs.

Types of coordination

General dynamic coordination is when you move using your whole body.

Coordination is the ability to make your body move well. If you have good coordination you will be able to make more complex movements.

To jump, get momentum and lift your feet off the ground.

There are two types of jump. One type is easier and the other is more difficult.
