It obviously makes us wonder what our celebrations will look like, but one thing is certain, we will have to adapt in order to ensure the safety of all and above all, to continue to control the curve so as not to overload our emergencies and put an extra burden on our healthcare workers who have had little respite since the start of the pandemic. One of the first changes to make is regarding our shopping habits. We must avoid filling the shopping centres. Shopping online is an option to consider, as is visiting your local merchants and artisan shops, in order to encourage the local economy. The key thing, however, is to do it early, especially considering the recommendations from Canada Post, which foresees a very busy period. To help you, we have prepared a gift guide for you. SHIPPING DEADLINES FOR YOUR CHRISTMAS GIFTS Canada Post has asked Canadians to do their holiday shopping in advance this year. The federal company apprehends a very busy period because of the popularity of online shopping in the current context of the pandemic. According to a survey conducted for Canada Post in June, 48% of Canadian consumers plan to shop primarily or exclusively online for their holiday gifts.
