Thomas N. Dr. Balaskas received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School, performed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago, and completed fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Louisville. He has practiced MaternalFetal Medicine with his partner and wife, Dr. Karen Cummiskey, since their residency training in Illinois. Drs. Balaskas and Cummiskey are clinical associate professors at Michigan State University providing education for Obstetric residents and medical students from MSU.
