The business area of the GRIWA GROUP includes all services relating to real estate: selling, renting, letting, building, purchasing, managing, furnishing, and marketing. The history of the Group began more than 30 years ago in Grindelwald, when Markus Friedli founded the company GRIWA PLAN AG – which was originally a small company carrying out a number of projects. Since then it has gone from strength to strength.

In order to diversify the real estate sector, new business areas were gradually integrated into the service network. Today GRIWA GROUP is comprised of six independent companies that work closely together: GRIWA TREUHAND AG, including nk immobilien gstaad gmbh, GRIWA ARCHITECTUR AG,

GRIWA RENT AG, GRIWA INTERIOR AG and GRIWA DEVELOPMENT AG.

Having the Company’s grass-roots in the region means that there is a strong network within the different companies benefiting everyone on both a national and international level. The

core values which define the characteristics of the GRIWA GROUP are based on its ability to offer professional advice, comprehensive services, and reliability as well as personal contacts within the alpine region. The Company’s employees all share a great enthusiasm for the mountains and take pride in sharing this with their clients.

Based on these principles, the Group has already carried out several well-known projects as the General Contractor; such as the Alpine lifestyle Hotel Aspen in Grindelwald, the Rugenpark development in Interlaken, and the Jungfrau Centre at the Interlaken East railway station. In addition to its daily business, the GRIWA GROUP not only supports humanitarian projects worldwide but also publishes the renowned Grindelwald Magazine every other year.

Since its foundation in 2015, nk immobilien gstaad gmbh has developed into a steadily growing real estate company in the Saanenland. The company was built up by Nadine Zingre-Kübli (from the Saanenland) who soon started thinking about possible future strategies. The takeover came about because the two companies share a similar philosophy and were convinced that they could operate in a stronger way within a common structure. Today the management is shared by Nadine Zingre-Kübli, the previous owner, and Sandro Bolton, Managing Director of GRIWA TREUHAND AG.

GRIWA ARCHITEKTUR AG emerged as an independent company in 2017 from the original team of GRIWA PLAN AG. The company can draw on over 30 years of experience and has excellent regional networking in all services relating to construction planning. GRIWA ARCHITEKTUR AG’s main activity is to cover all processes involved in the planning of a construction project - from the project study and the building permit procedure, to the execution and construction accounting.

GRIWA ARCHITEKTUR AG has also made a good name for itself regarding technical reports and expert opinions on existing properties. A special field of expertise is building photographs,

for example so-called 3D scans with the most modern equipment. The business areas and team of GRIWA ARCHITEKTUR AG grew together with GRIWA PLAN AG, which was founded 30 years ago. Within the framework of the reorganisation of the entire GRIWA Group, the former architecture department of GRIWA PLAN AG became a separate company in 2017 for construction planning with a well-coordinated team, good relationships, and local roots.
