Welcome to Grit and Grace

Wow, It seems like yesterday we were getting ready for summer, and now some of us are sending kids back to school and preparing for the change of seasons. These are undoubtedly challenging times, and we've heard the term "new normal" a lot. But, I guess at this point, we don't have much choice but to adapt.

We always strive to bring you a little sunshine and positivity with our editorial, no matter the seasons.

And our Fall issue is no different. In this edition, we pack it with even more beautiful and inspirational kids from every corner of the world.

In our cover and cover story, we are so excited to have our first ever duo cover models Morgan and Belle, who have been with us from the very beginning of our magazine conception. Both girls' loyalty to each other online and in real life was so very inspiring it was worthy of a feature. Also, take notes for those who join our cover model contest for every issue. Those are the important qualities that catapulted them to winning the coveted cover page.

Our judges are suckers for not just being talented and physically attractive; we also truly value the beauty inside. So let them shine.

We also have another truly exceptional "kids to follow" feature Claire Russel who had shown us so much grit and grace despite having to battle cancer.

A PARENT’S GUIDE TO FEMALE ATHLETE TRIAD GIRLS WHO PARTICIPATE IN SPORTS USUALLY ENJOY BETTER HEALTH, EARN HIGHER GRADES, AND LOWER THEIR RISK FOR UNPLANNED PREGNANCY AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE. HOWEVER, PARENTS NEED TO RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS OF THE FEMALE ATHLETE TRIAD AND INTERVENE IF THEIR DAUGHTERS ARE OVERDOING IT. THE FEMALE ATHLETE TRIAD INVOLVES AN ENERGY IMBALANCE THAT MAY INCLUDE EATING DISORDERS, ABSENT OR IRREGULAR MENSTRUAL PERIODS, AND LOSS OF BONE MASS. MEDICAL CARE IS USUALLY REQUIRED TO AVOID SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES. Learn how to keep your daughter healthy and fit. Study this quick guide to female athlete triad.

Changes in Diet and Training: 1. Count calories. Many young girls feel pressured to be thin, especially if they’re involved in activities where body weight is an issue, such as gymnastics or dance. Help your daughter understand how many calories she needs daily and discuss the consequences of extreme diets.

Boost self-esteem. Any athlete will be more resilient if their confidence is based on more than their sports performance. Let your daughter know that she is valuable just for being who she is. Provide a positive role model and praise her for her personal qualities like kindness and courage.

2. Eat healthy fats. The idea that eating fat makes you fat is a myth. In reality, fats are an essential macronutrient. Watch to see if your daughter avoids foods like dairy products and eggs.

3. Take supplements.

Whole foods provide adequate nutrition for most athletes. However, girls who have developed deficiencies may need supplements like calcium and vitamin D at least temporarily.

4. Exercise in moderation.

Act quickly if you see signs of overtraining, such as fatigue, irritability, and stress fractures.

Talk with your child’s school if you have concerns about their sports programs becoming too competitive .

5. Strengthen bones.

Childhood and adolescence are the most important years for investing in peak bone mass. Girls who weaken their bones with excessive training and inadequate diets are at higher risk for osteoporosis.

6. Rest up.

Explain the benefits of rest to your daughter. Taking adequate time off prevents injuries and helps muscles grow stronger.

7. Work with a nutritionist.

If you’re unsure about what to feed your children, consult a nutritionist. Some of them specialize in serving young female athletes.

8. Listen to your doctor.

Reduce stress. Help your child find ways to deal with internal and external of tension. Listen to Fitness Kid Model sources her concerns and help her SIENA SALTER find methods that work @GYMNAST.SISI for her, such as talking things through or writing in a journal.

If your daughter has even one of the three symptoms of female athlete triad, she may need medical care. Following your physician’s recommendations will help her recover faster.

E E M M A A G G N O ON Other Changes: Encourage other interests. It’s sometimes difficult for athletes to stay well-rounded. If your daughter’s life seems to revolve around soccer, introduce her to other sports and cultural activities. Visit the library regularly and do volunteer work.

Track periods. Irregular periods are common in the first few years of menstruation but looking for patterns can help in diagnosing many health conditions. Show your daughter how to mark a calendar to help her understand her own cycle.

Seek counseling. Talk therapy and medication may help with some of the psychological and emotional aspects of the female athlete triad.

Ask your doctor for a referral or check professional directories for a counselor who specializes in working with adolescents.

Your daughter can enjoy the benefits of playing sports without compromising her health. Knowing how to deal with the female athlete triad will help you to guide her in balancing her competitive drive with her overall well-being.

6 EASY WAYS TO USE MORE HEALTHY GREEN IN YOUR COOKING YOU KNOW YOU SHOULD EAT MORE GREEN VEGETABLES, BUT YOU MAY BE TIRED OF ADDING THEM TO A SALAD EACH DAY. HOWEVER, THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS TO USE THESE HEALTHY VEGGIES WHILE YOU COOK OR BAKE. Consider these ways to include more green vegetables in your meals: 1. Vegetable pasta.

There are two different techniques to use vegetables in a pasta dish: Cook regular pasta and simply add healthy vegetables to it. The most popular options include tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, and kale.

You can use raw veggies or steam them. Another option is to sauté them in healthy oils.

Make your pasta noodles out of vegetables. A spiralizer can help you make thin strips out of zucchini or eggplant. You can also use this technique to make noodles out of sweet potatoes or carrots. Another option if you don’t have a spiralizer is to cut thin slices or strips with a knife.

2. Soups, sauces, and dressings.

Soups, sauces, and dressings can be used to hide healthy vegetables. This is a useful method for picky eaters or children who refuse to eat whole or raw veggies.

You’ll need a blender or mixer to puree the veggies to hide them in sauces.

Consider the types of vegetables you can puree: tomatoes, squash, carrots, onions, potatoes, turnips, parsnips, broccoli, cauliflower, and others.

3. Meatballs. You can hide vegetables inside meatballs, too!

Whether you stick to a completely vegetarian recipe or use meat, you can add the green, healthy vegetables to meatballs.

The key is to add them to the mix before cooking. You can puree the veggies, so they’re easier to mix.

Once they’re cooked, it’s usually impossible to see or taste the veggies.

4. Vegetables as wraps and sandwich bases. If you’re trying to reduce carbohydrates or are simply tired of eating bread, you can switch to green vegetables as your base.

Use lettuce as a wrap for a different take on a burrito or taco.

Another option is to use a thick leaf of lettuce or kale instead of bread for a sandwich. You can stack your tomatoes, cheese, meat, and other items on top.

5. Casseroles. Most casseroles tend to be bland concoctions of leftover rice, noodles, tuna, or other bits that haven’t been eaten. If your family dreads the leftovers you put in a casserole, add more green vegetables to kick the flavor up a notch.

Adding vegetables will not only make your casseroles look more pleasing with a variety of colors, but also have more flavor. You can use an assortment of veggies to make the casseroles bolder. Don’t be afraid to experiment to see what works best for you and your family!

6. Smoothies. If you hate the taste of green vegetables, smoothies also give you the option of hiding them amid other flavors. Mix veggies with fruits in your smoothies for a variety of tastes.

Kale, lettuce, spinach, and other green veggies go well with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and apples.

The mixed results will be hard to distinguish, but the taste will be worth it. You can also add a little yogurt or nuts for protein.

Green vegetables have multiple health advantages ranging from fiber to vitamins.

If you’re struggling to eat salads, consider using vegetables in new ways.

Your health and taste buds will both benefit!

THE SCIENCE OF MAKING A GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION “You

MOST OF US FALL INTO ONE OF TWO CATEGORIES: EITHER PEOPLE LOVE US FROM THE START, OR THEY REQUIRE SOME TIME TO REALIZE HOW GREAT WE ARE. WOULDN’T IT BE WONDERFUL TO GIVE PEOPLE A GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION? ONCE A FIRST IMPRESSION IS FORMED, IT’S CHALLENGING TO CHANGE. THIS HOLDS TRUE FOR BUSINESS, ROMANTIC, AND SOCIAL SITUATIONS. THE FIRST IMPRESSION COUNTS FOR A LOT.

In everyday life, you have many facets to your personality.

Sometimes you’re serious, other times

You only have one chance to make a great first impression:

If you have the opportunity to plan, wear clothing and accessories that support the impression you wish to make. A Hawaiian shirt says something different from a well-tailored suit.

Jogging shorts don’t convey the same message as a skirt.

1. Determine the type of impression you want to make.

2. Choose your clothing and accessories accordingly.

You won’t be seen as someone with a lot of discipline and selfcontrol if you’re overweight. You won’t be viewed as well off if you’re sporting a $7 haircut. Have you shaved recently?

4. Have good eye contact.

Eye contact is critical. Too little eye contact conveys nervousness or a lack of respect. Take a deep breath and look them in the eye.

Avoid staring. A good number is 75% eye contact. Spend the remaining 25% looking at some other part of their face. It’s okay to look away completely on occasion.

5. Smile.

A smile is inviting and soothing.

You’ll even make yourself feel better. A smile will make it easier to maintain good eye contact, too.

6. Have a firm handshake.

The right amount of pressure is somewhere between bone-crushing and the infamous dead fish handshake. Be firm, but remember that it’s not a contest. Ladies can be a little gentler.

7. Listen. We love it when others give us attention and make us feel important. Pay attention when the other person is speaking. Ask relevant questions.

Avoid looking around the room as if you’re planning your escape. Be interested.

8. Be interesting. Have an opinion and be willing to share it. Be aware of current events. People find you interesting when you’re interested in them. Giving others your full attention might be the best way to seem interesting to them.

9. Make them feel good about themselves. The better someone feels at the end of your conversation, the more they like you. It’s that simple.

A sincere compliment never hurts.

Be respectful and kind.

10. Use the other person’s name and remember it.

Admit it, you enjoy it when someone new uses your name. “Hi, Mary” sounds a lot better than just a simple, “Hi.” Few things make us feel more insignificant than someone forgetting our name. Remembering names is challenging, but so important.

Making a great first impression makes many things easier. It’s easier to make a sale, get your point across, or get a date.

You only have one opportunity to make a first impression, so make it a good one.

MORGAN AND BELLE: SHOWS US HOW TO TURN ONLINE FRIENDS INTO IRL ONE

Morgan and Belle are the first duo winner of Grit and Grace’s second cover model contest for our fall issue.

Shared interests are a hallmark of great friendships, and Belle and her friend Morgan have that from the very beginning. The duo met online in Spring 2021 through an online platform that promotes kindness and friendship and builds confidence in girls while creating arts and pieces of jewelry by GoMee Girl Models.

Though they lived in two different states, Morgan lives in Media, PA (about 20 minutes outside of Philadelphia). And Belle of East Texas managed to develop meaningful relationships.

Morgan and Belle's friendships continue to flourish as they both became part of an Instagram group called “Kindness Wins,” where everyone in the group likes and comments on each other posts and supports each other.

In July 2021, Gomee Girl hosted a Girl Power Summit in Boston, Massachusetts, and Morgan and Belle finally met in person. The girls were instant friends as they are both lovely and kind girls. They got along very well and still stayed in touch online by supporting each other and commenting on their posts.

They both vied for our cover girl contest twice and supported each other well into the finals, which are touchingly admiring, and to tell you the truth, that is why they both deserve this cover wins. Grit and Grace magazine are very encouraged and inspired by these two girls who made a positive outlook as their mission, and we are here to let them know that we support them all the way.

When did you know you wanted to be an athlete?

I started gymnastics classes when I was 2 years old and I really enjoyed the trampoline and tumbling. My gymnastics center had a cheer team that I was invited to join when I was 4. When cheering for that team, we went to competitions where I saw larger Allstar gyms compete. I was amazed by their skills and I told my parents that I wanted to be a cheerleader for an Allstar gym. My parents contacted TSC Allstars and I began private lessons so I could gain the skills necessary to be on an elite team. I worked really hard and accomplished what I needed to, and I was placed on the Tiny Competition Team.

Do you see yourself as a role model?

I see myself as a role model because I try to use my social media platform to spread the importance of kindness and positivity. I also share my story with others. I am a person who has not let challenges stand in the way of accomplishing my dreams. I have high functioning autism and epilepsy but I do not let those challenges hold me back. I try to be an example for others with challenges or differences to help them see that they can still accomplish anything they want with hard work and determination.

What life lessons do you want to share with other children out there?

I would want to tell other children to never stop believing in their dreams.

When you work hard you can do anything. Also I would share with other children the importance of kindness. It is so important to be kind to others. You never know what someone else is going through.

Being kind costs you nothing, but it could mean the world to the person receiving your kindness. Life is so much happier when you are kind to others. Kindness spreads joy and

Describe your major highlights and achievements in sports in the past?

This past year, my team Black Magic of TSC Allstars placed top 3 in every competition of the season. We won three first place championship jackets.

We placed third in US Finals. We worked so well as a team and we had amazing coaches. I am very excited to be on the same team again this year.

What do you see yourself accomplishing in 5 to 10 years?

Are there are any short term goals you would like to accomplish in the next few months to a couple of years?

I the next few months I would like to get my back handspring and my round off back handspring. I have been working hard on these skills and I hope to achieve these tumbling skills in the next few months. In my personal life over the next year I plan to crush the fifth grade.

What challenges did you come across in getting where you are at today?

I have faced challenges as many individuals have, I have high functioning autism and epilepsy. Both of these conditions make cheerleading more challenging. Attaining tumbling skills can be challenging for me because motor planning is difficult.

However, I focus mostly on the things I do well like basing and backspotting.

Fortunately, I have coaches that recognize my value despite my challenges with tumbling.

What do you believe to be one of your weaknesses and what are you doing to improve it?

What drives you to get up every morning and go training every day?

My team is what drives me to go to practice throughout the week. Every member of the team is important and when someone is missing at practice a stunt can’t go up and the pyramid can’t go up. I care about my team and I want us to perform at our best during competition season so I always go to practice. Training and practice is part of showing respect for your team.

What motivates you most about your profession as an athlete?

What motivates me is the feeling I get when I have just finished performing at a competition and I know we just hit our routine and performed our best. I love that thrill of performing. I also love winning competitions. What is important to you? What is most important to me is my parents. I am an only child and my parents are so loving and dedicated. We have such a close bond and we love going on adventures together. My parents would do absolutely anything to keep me happy and safe. Our love for each other knows no bounds.

In the next five to ten years, I would like to be in college for art and graphic design or photography. I love art and it is my passion. I would also like to cheer in college.

What is important to you?

What is most important to me is my parents. I am an only child and my parents are so loving and dedicated.

We have such a close bond and we love going on adventures together. My parents would do absolutely anything to keep me happy and safe. Our love for each other knows no bounds.

What are your strengths as both an athlete and a person?

My primary strength as both an athlete and a person is determination. I remain committed and determined to finish what I start and accomplish my goals.

As an athlete one of my strengths is teamwork. I focus on what is best for the team. I never look to be spotlighted, I just care about doing my part for the team so we can perform our best. As a person one of my strengths is maturity. I am mature and independent and I try to behave as a young lady with poise and manners.

Sometimes I can think negatively because I have anxiety. I have been making a conscious effort to be more positive. I try to look for the positive things in each situation and try to avoid being negative. I have been more positive in the recent months because I have been making an effort to be more positive.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of sports?

I love art, it is my passion. I love to draw and paint. I have never taken an art class but I am very talented. I aspire to be an artist in the future. I also love to travel. My parents and I vacation at least once a year, sometimes more.

We go to the Bahamas and the Caribbean often. I have also been to Canada. My favorite place to travel to is Horseshoe Bay Beach in Bermuda, it has beautiful pink sand.

Which strengths do you believe that you have that make you a great athlete?

I believe the strength that I have that makes me a great athlete is determination. While I am not the strongest or most advanced cheerleader, I work hard and I am determined. I continue to try my best to attain the tumbling skills I need.

I have always liked sports and I am extremely competitive.

Do you see yourself as a role model?

Yes, I try to be a hard worker and a good example.

What life lessons do you want to share with other children out there?

Be kind to people and they will be kind to you. Scatter kindness like confetti.

Describe your major highlights and achievements in sports in the past?

I have gotten first or second in every race I have ever run. My cheer coaches say I am a hard-worker and take corrections very well.

What challenges did you come across in getting where you are at today?

I have to overcome fear each time I work on new tumbling skills. It took me about a year to get my backhand spring because jumping backwards and upside down is very scary to me.

Now, I am working on my tuck (back flip) and aerial (cartwheel with no hands) and they are both super scary because I am afraid to hit my head or break my neck.

What drives you to get up every morning and go training every day?

Each new day is another chance to see my friends and learn new things.

What motivates you most about your profession as an athlete?

I love the rush I get when I land a new skill or do something right.

Sometimes I get so excited about a new skill that I cry.

BELLE

Why are you so passionate about playing sports?

I like reaching my goals and I am highly competitive. I love the adrenaline rush when I accomplish something like finishing a race, landing a great tumble pass, or finishing a routine without messing up. My personal theme song is Whatever it Takes by Imagine Dragons.

What is important to you?

Friends, family, animals What are your strengths as both an athlete and a person?

I am determined. Quitting is not an option and I don’t give up until I get it right.

What do you see yourself accomplishing in 5 to 10 years?

In five years I hope to be on Varsity Cheer and Track and taking advanced classes with straight As. In ten years I hope to be at college in Hawaii working on my marine biology degree so I can become a marine veterinarian.

Is there a coach or athlete that you look up to as a role model and why?

Are there are any short term goals you would like to accomplish in the next few months to a couple of years?

I am trying to get my aerial, back tuck, and punch front. I am so close on all of them. I can do them, but I am scared to do them without a spot touching me.

What do you believe to be one of your weaknesses and what are you doing to improve it?

My biggest weakness is fear an slack of confidence. Sometimes, I just fake it. I am learning to work past the fear.

I have 4 affirmations that my mom tells me to repeat when I feel scared or overwhelmed: 1)I am smart 2)I am pretty 3)I am a good friend 4)I am a good athlete

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of sports?

I like reading, writing stories, watching TV, cooking, school, and riding my bike with friends. My family loves to travel together.

Which strengths do you believe that you have that make you a great athlete?

I am strong and I have a great support system. My parents and grandparents are always there for me and they push me to practice and be my best. My bestie and I cheer together and we are always pushing each other to reach for new skills.

My last tumbling coach, Zack, helped me make so much progress in tumbling. He pushed me to do better and try harder without making me feel bad about myself. We had fun in our classes and private lessons but we weren’t allowed to goof off or sit down. He actually made a rule that anyone who sits or lays down during a class or lesson had to do 10 pushups.

He named the rule after me because my mom was always yelling at me when I would sit down because that is not what gym time is for. ELEVEN-YEAR-OLD CLAIRE RUSSELL REFUSES TO LET HER CANCER DIAGNOSIS GET THE BEST OF HER AND STOP HER FROM DOING WHAT SHE LOVES MOST. CLAIRE HAS INSPIRED MANY NOT ONLY WITH HER BATTLE WITH CANCER BUT HER PASSION FOR DANCE AND REFUSAL TO GIVE UP. WHEN DID YOU KNOW YOU WANTED TO BE AN ATHLETE? I have always loved to dance. When I was four years old and in the hospital being treated for cancer, I used to watch dance videos online to pass the time. I told my Mom that the first thing I wanted to do when I was done with treatment, was to sign up for a dance class.

DO YOU SEE YOURSELF AS A ROLE MODEL? I see myself as someone who hopefully inspires others to follow their dreams, even if they seem impossible .

WHAT LIFE LESSONS DO YOU WANT TO SHARE WITH OTHER CHILDREN OUT THERE? To never give up. You are stronger than you think you are.

DESCRIBE YOUR MAJOR HIGHLIGHTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS IN SPORTS IN THE PAST. Last year I won two regional dance titles, and came in 1st runner up at Nationals.

WHAT CHALLENGES DID YOU COME ACROSS IN GETTING TO WHERE YOU ARE AT TODAY? My cancer was located between my ribs in my back, near my spine. I had to have four ribs completely removed, and I have a spinal fusion.

This has resulted in me having scoliosis, which can make some dance moves difficult. I also have kidney disease as a result of having

WHAT DRIVES YOU TO GET UP IN THE MORNING AND GO TRAINING EVERY DAY? I really really love to dance. Dance is like therapy for me. I get just as excited to go to class now as I did when I was five years old.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU THE MOST ABOUT YOUR PROFESSION AS AN ATHLETE? II love to inspire others. It means so much to me when younger dancers say they look up to me. I love that I can bring hope to other dancers going through hard things like cancer, scoliosis, or kidney disease.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU? My family and my friends. They have always been there for me and I love them so much. And dance, of course.

WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS AS BOTH AN ATHLETE AND A PERSON? I am a very positive person. I always look on the bright side. After experiencing something so difficult at a young age, I know that every day is a gift. :)

WHAT DO YOU SEE YOURSELF ACCOMPLISHING IN FIVE TO TEN YEARS? FI just want to dance. I hope to dance in college, on Broadway, in music videos, wherever I can! I also hope to open my own studio someday.

WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE TO BE ONE OF YOUR WEAKNESSES AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO IMPROVE IT? Sometimes I can be lazy when I don’t have school or dance! I love to sleep in.

I’m working on being more motivated to try new things.

DO YOU HAVE ANY HOBBIES OR INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF SPORTS? I love to read! I really enjoy the Survivor book series. It’s amazing being able to read them and relate to kids who experienced scary situations like I did.

WHICH STRENGTHS DO YOU BELIEVE YOU HAVE THAT MAKE YOU A GREAT ATHLETE? I would say my biggest strength is my passion. I truly love to dance and practicing never feels like work.

WHY ARE YOU SO PASSIONATE ABOUT PLAYING SPORTS? I love to push myself to do hard things. I love that being a dancer is a combination of both athlete and artist. I love to inspire young dancers to keep working hard.

ARE THERE ANY SHORT-TERM GOALS YOU'D LIKE TO ACCOMPLISH IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS TO A COUPLE OF YEARS? My Dad is in the military, so we moved to a new state recently. I joined a new dance studio and a new school. I hope to make new wonderful friendships while keeping in contact with the friends that I miss. I hope to learn new things at my new studio and have a successful competition year.

IS THERE A COACH OR ATHLETE THAT YOU LOOK UP TO AS A ROLE MODEL AND WHY? My former studio director Melissa Moore. She always believed in me and pushed me to be the best version of myself. Also, she was in Cats on Broadway, how cool is that? :) WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IS THE GREATEST CHALLENGE MOST ATHLETES ARE FACING TODAY? I’d say the biggest challenge for young athletes is finding a balance between school and their sport. I’d be at dance all day if I could, but I know school is so important.

HOW DO YOU MANAGE YOUR ATHLETIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND OTHER OUTSIDE RECREATIONAL AND NON-RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES? I definitely prioritize dance over everything but school. I spend as much time at the studio as I can.

Other than dance I don’t have time for other recreational activities during the week. My life is probably pretty different from an average 6th grader’s, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I do love doing things with my family on the weekends, like going on hikes and watching movies.

DESCRIBE YOUR WORST SPORTS PERFORMANCE. WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM THIS EXPERIENCE? Once at a regional dance competition, I was having a bit of a wardrobe malfunction on stage. I kept trying to fix it during the dance and was so distracted. I cried once we came off stage because I knew I had let my team down. I learned that if you have a malfunction, just keep dancing! .

WHAT DOES YOUR DIET AND NUTRITION PLAN LOOK LIKE WHEN YOU'RE BULKING UP OR GETTING IN SHAPE DURING TRAINING? I have what’s called “failure to thrive” which means I don’t grow at the same rate as my peers. This is caused by the year of chemotherapy I received. Between that condition and all the dancing I do, I have a really hard time gaining weight. My doctors encourage me to eat as many high-calorie foods as I can. The good news is, milkshakes are encouraged!

WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY ROUTINE LOOK LIKE? My daily routine starts by waking up, getting dressed, and brushing my hair and teeth. I pack a bag for both school and dance, and my mom packs me to lunch and dinner. I usually grab something small like a granola bar to eat on the way (I’m never hungry in the morning, it’s too early!) After school, I go straight to dance.

Some days I have an hour to eat dinner and do homework right when I get there, and some days I have an hour break later in the evening. I usually finish around 8:30 at night. My mom picks me up and drives me home. I usually have a snack, take a shower, and head to bed.

Ahzlove is a 26 time published model/Instagram fashion influencer, know by her fans as a diva. Always standing out for her striking poses, and unique style.

Ahzlove loves JESUS, her family, modeling and playing with her dogs Avah, Keya, and Rocky. She began modeling at the age of 5 landing her first magazine publication at the age of 6, her first magazine cover by the age of 8, and totaling 26 magazine publications in all by the age of 11.

DREAMING TO BECOME AN ELITE GYMNAST ONE DAY

Analia is a 7-year-old Puerto Rican native living in Orlando, FL, pursuing her dream to one day become an elite gymnast and mission support astronaut. She loves cats, science, robotics, coding, playing piano, dance, and above all...gymnastics. Analia got her start in gymnastics at the age of four in preschool gymnastics classes.

She quickly advanced through the levels and was asked to be in the competitive Junior Olympic program.

At her very first meet, Analia finished fourth on vault and floor. Analia continued to improve and had the best meet of her season at the Florida State Championships. Here, Analia earned a bronze medal on beam and finished fifth on bars, floor, and the all-around.

Currently, Analia is a level 4 gymnast; she trains 16 or more hours per week, and her goal for next season is to score a 38.00 in the all-around and work on focusing and pushing herself to meet each goal. In the future, Analia hopes to represent Puerto Rico on international assignments and earn an academy or gymnastics college scholarship.

Talent is nice to have but hard work is what makes you get better. If you try hard and do the work you will always succeed. Never give up on your dreams!
