Kittens! There are always kittens for sale in Will Nixon and Sons pet shop, so much so that the shops facebook page is covered in nearly nothing but cats! To find out how much a kitten is, go to the pet shop in person to ask for the prices. Along with the copious amounts of pictures of cats, not all of them are for sale. There are a lot of pictures of Will, the cat belonging to the shop. Will is one of the attractions of Will Nixon and Sons, and is something of a celebrity in bank street. It’s worth visiting the shop for Will alone.
Not All Rabbits
But from the moment you walk in its clear they’ve got something for every animal you can name. We’ve got rabbits, parrots, turtles, fish, elephants, monkeys, cacti, chubicabras, tarantulas, and pikachus. Ok, some of that was made up, but Will Nixon and Sons does have every normal household pet.
Just Cats Parrots The shop isn’t just filled with furry felines, you can sometimes find some feathered friends there too.

John Watt & Son John Watt & Son was founded in 1865 by John & William Watt in Glovers Row near the existing old town hall of Carlisle and within sight of the city cross, still to be seen. In 1897 Glovers Row was demolished and Watts moved to our present abode at 11 Bank Street. In 1916 John Watt died and the business was carried on by his son Henry Watt, until his death in 1943.
