DES IGN MANI FES TO

“A DESIGN ISN’T FINISHED UNTIL SOMEONE IS USING IT”

DES IGN MANI FES TO

Present the right solution to the brief.

I learned to make sure that I fully comprehend what is being asked of me for the particular project, so that the correct response can be given .

Doubt is better than certainty.

I learned to not be so precious with my work. To look for things that need to be improved upon constantly, it helps you grow as a designer.

Don’t take criticism harshly.

It is given to help you better yourself, don’t let it defeat you. Not to go with the first idea you have, even if it seems like the best one.

Develop all ideas fully.

Don’t rush into the design with the first idea, think about it. When you are forced into thinking about something, that’s usually when the best ideas surface.

Keep your designs simple.

Graphic Design looks best when kept simple, elegant and clean.

Enjoy the process as a whole.

When you enjoy the process from start to finish and give it your all you produce much better results and improve the design.

There is no such thing as a stupid question.

Whether it is understanding a new brief, idea or software. Ask questions, it’s the only way to get results.

Repeat yourself.

If you don’t like something you have done, it’s not the end of the world. Repeat the process until you perfect it.

Collect.

Constantly be on the lookout for possible research or material that will help your designs in the future.

Inspire.

Take inspiration from all of your surroundings. Listen to different kinds of music, surround yourself with inspiring imagery.

It’s up to you.

Constantly try to better yourself and don’t let things get on top of you. You’re doing this for yourself and no one else.
