Castleringg stone circle
Castleringg Stone Circle was an interesting experience as it was lovely to look at but there was nothing to do. I could have enjoyed this part of the trip much more by just looking at it through the window or through images on google. Nature is lovley, it really is but with the elements being so strong that you could lean back into the wind and not fall over think i’ll give that one a miss next time.
keswick town
Derwentwater lake
Derwentwater lake was the only highlight of the visit. The picturesque lake was lovely to look at but not to stand next to that day. The winds were that strong that it made the lake look like the sea, with crashing waves against rock ad the spay of the water. It was something I hadn’t really witnessed before.
Keswick is a nice place with its pituresque views and interesting scenery. However I think next time I’d rather spend my time indoors hiding from the rain.
