Located on a beautiful, 320-acre campus nestled in the Allegheny Mountains near the Little Juniata River, Grier School offers outstanding academics, unique signature programs, immersive learning, and a welcoming community. Intensive Summer Programs D I V E I N | E X P L O R E | E X PA N D
DANCE The Dance Program for ages 8 and up is modeled on Grier’s pre-professional dance program and led by its director. Dancers enjoy an immersive experience in different styles of dance and sustained time in the studio to perfect their skills.
A RT The three-week Art Program is open to campers aged 13 and up. Signing up for pottery is recommended but not required. Find your creative passion in Grier’s beautiful light-filled studios.
RIDING The Riding Program gives equestrians access to Grier’s outstanding facilities and riding instructors. Campers spend most of the day riding and engaged in equine studies. Those wishing to board a horse on campus must register for all three weeks.
MUSIC The Music Program offers an intensive experience for campers of all ages. Aspiring musicians and vocalists improve their skills and prepare each week to present in Grier Summer’s Friday Showcase.
TENNIS The Tennis Program, open to campers of all ages, is designed for avid tennis players who want to perfect their game. In a fun environment, campers have ample time on the court to improve their technical and tactical skills.
Grier Knows Girls
Grier Summer Camp enrolls girls aged 7-17 as day campers and aged 9-17 as boarders. One-week sessions give students of all ages the chance to try new activities and perfect skills in their passions. Sign up for one, two, or all three weeks. Enjoy our state-of-the-art dance, fine art, and equestrian facilities and learn from teachers dedicated to seeing you do your best. Girls come from all over the world each summer to dance, create, ride, and make lasting friendships at Grier. Days at Grier Summer Camp are filled with fun activities and the discovery of new interests. Recreational campers choose from a variety of activities for the four activity periods daily. In the Intensive Program, campers devote three of the four activity periods to their chosen concentration, with the fourth period open for a wide range of exciting options. Afternoon leisure time offers a break for swimming, crafting, or quiet space to write a letter home.
