Itasca Biological Station: Food Systems

This project started with an ex ploration of Itasca history through archival records. In these records, I found myself fascinated with the history of food production on the field station campus, as well as the social history and significance of the place. In turn, this project weaves together silvicultural methods and places for social con nection building. Additionally, a reforestation effort is completed throughout the field station, result ing in project carbon neutrality in 11 years.
