GREEN BORDEAUX IN 3-LITER Support our Eco-Heroes!

This 2022-2023, our Bordeaux Big Bottles Restaurant Promotion will focus on all sustainable wines from many appellations. We’re targeting 60+ restaurants in Chicago to feature special 3-Liter bottles, a rare double-magnum size to showcase Bordeaux’s collective commitment to sustainability.

The Bordeaux region is a proud leader in sustainable initiatives in winemaking; as of fall 2021, 75% of Bordeaux vineyards now hold environmental certifications, a new benchmark! Many of our wines come from HVE-3 certified estates and more still are in the process of converting to partially or fully organic operations.

VARIETIES 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon

TASTING NOTES A serious wine, thanks to a rich, concentrated and velvety tannic texture. Nose displays fresh blackcurrant and black cherry ariomas, and finishes with a beautiful acidity for balance and freshness.

ECO/WINEMAKING 16 months oak aging (two-thirds new and one-third second fill). Certified HVE 3.
