Round 9 | GT vs NC Friday 20 June 2025
Dear members of the Terrace Family and visitors to Tennyson, Welcome to the final home game of Terrace Football for the 2025 GPS season.
A warm welcome to the staff, players, and families of Nudgee College as you join us at Tennyson today. The strong association between our two schools spans over 100 years, as does our equally strong competitive relationship.
As this is our final round of GPS Football for the year, I would like to thank and congratulate all the players, families and coaches for their efforts during the season. I particularly thank Mr Mitch Edwards, our Director of Football, for his efforts in coordinating such an extensive and successful program, which this year involved 816 players and 55 teams.
Today will also mark the last GPS Football games I will watch as College Principal of Terrace - it has been an honour to be associated with the staff, coaches, parents and players involved in the Terrace Football Program over the last 11 years.
I wish all players from both schools the very best in today’s games. I am confident that our games will be competitive but also played in the spirit of fellowship.
Have a great day.
Dr Michael Carroll College Principal

To our Terrace boys and coaches, your commitment, resilience, and passion throughout the 2025 season has been truly inspiring. As we close out this season, we look forward to seeing you leave it all on the field, embodying the values of teamwork, determination and camaraderie that make Terrace Football so special.
To our dedicated supporters, your energy and enthusiasm have been the backbone of our community throughout the entire season. Whether you are cheering from the sidelines, assisting in the canteen, or volunteering your time, your support fuels our players’ drive and makes every match day unforgettable. A special thank you to our generous sponsors and everyone who has added to the success of our fundraising activities. From the Homebake stall to the Donut Drive and Trivia Night, your contribution made these events truly memorable. Thank you for being the heart and soul of Terrace Football.
