On Friday, March 5, the Home Builders Association of West Florida hosted a Clay Shoot at Santa Rosa Shooting Center. Both Beginners and experienced sporting clay enthusiasts gathered in the early morning to shoot clays while building camaraderie at this popular event that bene ts the HBA’s advocacy. There were raf es to be won! The day began with the sign ins and purchases of raf e ticket and mulligans. While participants enjoyed breakfast, supplied by American Concrete, Introductions and a safety brie ng were held. The event consisted of a 100 clay targets per person.

Congratulation goes to Team Ferguson, for the winning 1st Place Team with team members: Randy Hendricks, Bill Rawlins, Mike Solliday, and Russ Harris. The High Score Male Shooter – Both Randy Hendricks and Bill Rawlins shot a perfect 100, so it was a tie in the male section. Rizza Johnson who shot a high score of 39 was the High Score Female Shooter.

The fun day ended with an amazing BBQ consisting of sausage, and burgers and all that goes along with it, also provided by American Concrete. Everyone experienced the fun of sporting clays while supporting a worthy cause and increasing their business contacts!

A Special thanks goes to Kappa Sigma of University West Florida, as they brought their game to the eld, providing 15 young men to volunteer for the day, providing support for the event in many ways. Parking cars, hanging banners, cleaning up, and helping in any way they could.
