Our beloved residence halls offer a comfortable, supportive community where you will build friendships and enjoy easy access to campus life. Your dorm is your space—and we want you to make it your own! You can feel at home, settle in, and create a place that reflects who you are in any of our residence halls: • Burritt Hall: The largest all-female hall with over 100 years of history!

• Hood Hall: Loved for its spacious rooms and lounges.

• Joy and Janssen Hall: Brotherhood is built in this allmale residence hall.

• Mannoia Hall: Upper-division housing with "pods" that offer apartment-style living.

• Tenney and Kinney Hall: Communal living just a short walk from campus.

• University Hall: The newest residence hall that includes the state-of-the-art Trager Athletics Performance & Training Center.

Greenville is a charming small town with a big heart—the perfect blend of peaceful comfort and campus-life buzz. With local coffee shops, scenic outdoor spaces, and a welcoming community, it’s a great place to focus on your studies and enjoy time with friends. And when you’re up for an adventure, it’s just a short drive to St. Louis, where you’ll find all the energy and entertainment of a major city.

Around town, students love exploring The Gullies nature trail, catching performances at The Factory Theatre, or relaxing at Patriot’s Park. Many also get involved with local ministries like The Simple Room and Eden’s Glory, where they can make a real difference. Greenville is home to a number of unique small businesses, including Evergreen Plant Co. and Mudslide Pottery Studio—perfect for a creative afternoon or finding a thoughtful gift. At GU, we’re committed to helping students learn beyond the classroom. That’s why we’ve built meaningful partnerships that offer immersive, off-campus experiences tailored to the unique interests and career goals of our students. As a GU student, you’ll have the opportunity to spend a full semester diving deeper into your field, gaining real-world experience, and discovering how your passion connects with your purpose.

Climb Global Learning is a service-learning experience offered in partnership with SCORE International on their campus in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic.

Climb bridges the gap between traditional classroom learning and dynamic, hands-on experiences, allowing students to grow in their faith, serve local ministries, earn up to 15 college credits, and enjoy the experience of a lifetime.

Evergreen Riding Institute is a comprehensive program designed to cultivate both a deep understanding of equine studies and the practical skills necessary for successful careers in the equine industry. Located in beautiful Evergreen, Colorado, students will refine their equestrian skills, expand their knowledge, and cultivate their faith in a captivating setting.

CMC Nashville is an immersive 15-week experience in Music City, offering a deep dive into the music and live events industry. Students earn 16 college credits while building invaluable industry connections and gaining real-world, hands-on experience—whether as an artist, music business professional, technical expert, or worship leader.

Athletics

GU Athletics brings energy and connection to campus life. Students get involved as athletes, fans, and supporters—cheering on the Panthers and sharing in the school spirit. Our teams compete in the following sports: • Baseball • Basketball • Cross Country • Football • Golf • Gymnastics

If you participate in any of the following groups, you can earn between $500 and $2000 more per year just for being a member! Qualifying groups are: Marching Band, Outdoor Adventure Club, Pursuit Worship Teams, Choir, Esports, Equine Club, Cheer and Dance, Bowling, and Power Lifting.

Richard Stephens Character Scholarship: Students who exhibit exceptional character and service.

Almira Leadership Scholarship: Students who want to grow in a leadership role on campus.

Ish Smith Overcomer Scholarship: Students who have overcome adversity.

Estevez Community Scholarship: Freshman or transfer students with a passion for community development.

McAllaster Honors Scholars: Freshman students with an incoming GPA of 3.5 or higher.

DO YOU ATTEND A FAITH–BASED HIGH SCHOOL OR HOME SCHOOL? Students who attend a Christian or faith-based high school can receive an automatic $22,000 scholarship! As an affiliate of the Free Methodist or Global Methodist church, Greenville University offers a scholarship for children of Free Methodist or Global Methodist Pastors. If you are within the Gateway Conference, you could receive an additional $2,000 to attend GU†! *Grant not available for international students. Students must visit GU’s physical location for receipt. Individual visits, group visits, experience GU Days, and scholarship days are all eligible events. Visit Grant is renewable annually, up to four years for full-time (12+credits) each semester, degree-seeking, on-campus, undergraduate students - $500 x 4 = $2,000. Visit Grant stacks onto other financial aid from GU. **GU scholarships cannot exceed the amount of tuition One leadership or academic scholarship per student. Leadership and academic scholarships do not stack on one another. †Pending approval of Gateway Conference. Pastors outside the Gateway Conference should check with their superintendents for available scholarships for their children.

Submit an application online. Applying to GU is free and easy either through our website or through the Common App!

File your FAFSA to be considered for grants and loans. The application opens in Oct. of your senior year and uses your family's IRS tax and income filing information from the previous year.

Review Scholarship Opportunities. All full–time, traditional GU students receive some form of scholarship.

Accept your Financial Aid offer. Login to your Financial Aid Hub to view and accept your offer.
