A D U LT S P R I N G C L I N I C S Greensboro Country Club provides the finest and most complete tennis program offered in the Greensboro area. Our lesson program offers a wonderful opportunity for all tennis enthusiasts to learn, to sharpen their skills and to bite into some matched competition.

Our coaching philosophy is a total development approach that stresses the need to continually strive toward top performance. Getting to the next level of performance involves fundamental training in all aspects of your game. As you move upward in tennis from one level to the next, you will be challenged emotionally, physically and strategically. Your tennis staff looks forward to seeing you on the court!

Ladies Gate City Clinics

Begins Thursday, March 31st at The Farm (Eight week program)

This focus of this program is to provide practice for players who are seeking to improve their match play and doubles strategy. The workouts will consist of doubles drills, tactics and competition.

$80 per month (four weeks); Charged on a monthly basis 1 1/2 hours a day Cancellations must be made by March 26th Drop-in fee: $24 a day

Ladies Night Clinic

Begins Monday, April 4th at Irving Park (Six week program)

Ladies Night Clinic is focuses on the basic tennis fundamental and the beginning stages of strategy needed for singles and doubles match play.

Mondays | 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. $15 per night

JUNIOR SPRING CLINICS The GCC Junior Tennis Program provides the most extensive pathway for junior tennis development. We strive to teach our juniors all aspects of tennis from the introductory level to the high performance competitive level in a fun enjoyable setting.

We combine skills, drills and competition that will grow our juniors both physically and mentally. Our tennis staff excels in reaching every child’s goal toward becoming successful in the enjoyment of this sport of a lifetime.

Future Stars

(Ages 4 to 6)

Begins Monday, April 4th at Irving Park (Eight week program)

This program focuses on the basics of tennis. The instruction will be formed so that the player will get an introduction to stroke production and experience the fun of playing tennis with a short court format. Future Stars players will also recieve their very own tennis racket!

Mondays or Wednesdays | 3:45 - 4:30 p.m. $119 (Includes new racket)

Superstars

(Ages 8 and under)

Begins Monday, April 4th at Irving Park

(Eight week program) This clinic is designed to teach boys and girls the basics of stroke production, the fundamentals of each part of the game and competition on a short court. Superstars players will also recieve their very own tennis racket!

Mondays or Wednesdays | 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. $139 (Includes new racket)

JUNIOR SPRING CLINICS USTA Junior Team Tennis Begins Monday, April 4th at Irving Park (Eight week program)

This program is designed to give our junior players a chance to develop their skills, drills and strategy to compete in USTA Junior Team Tennis format. GCC Tennis Professionals will evaluate each player’s skills and place them accordingly.

All players will need a USTA membership to participate.

10 & Under is for the junior player ready to compete on a 60 foot court with orange ball format.

Tuesday and/or Thursday | 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.

12 & Under is for the junior player competing on a full court with green dot ball format.

Monday and/or Wednesday | 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. $160 per month (2 days per week) | $80 per month (1 day per week)

Competitive Training

Begins Tuesday, April 5th at Irving Park (Eight week program) 16 & Under is for the junior who is working on competitive team tennis, school tennis or tournaments.

Tuesday and/or Thursday | 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. $160 per month (2 days per week) | $80 per month (1 day per week)
