Friends Book Drive March 7–11
The Friends of the Library want your gently used books, audiobooks, CDs, and DVDs! We are looking for newer and popular titles to be sold in our spring book sale. Please leave donations with Friends of the Library volunteers or at the Information Desk.
Friends Spring Book Sale April 3–9
The Friends of the Library are proud to announce a spring book sale! Visit the Meeting Room to check out our great collection of books, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, and more for sale! All of the proceeds generated from the Friends Book Sale make a significant contribution toward Friends projects which support the Green Hills Public Library District’s mission. If you are interested in volunteering for the Friends of the Library or at the Friends Book Sale, please contact Brittany Ramos at (708) 598-8446 ext. 118.

Registration Programs marked with an asterisk (*) require registration. Unless otherwise noted, registration will begin on Friday, February 19 at 9am. A GHPLD Library card and PIN (last 4 digits of phone number) are required at the time of registration. GHPLD residents are given preference for all programs. Non-residents may contact the Library to register one week before a program is scheduled, if space is available.
Crochet for Charity The Crochet for Charity program is in full swing! So far, we have donated a total of 46 baby blankets and 126 pet beds. This is an ongoing program, so bring in your donations anytime. We will accept items that are already completed or you can check out a bag with all the materials provided. We are asking for yarn donations to help continue the Crochet for Charity program. D onations can be made at the Circulation or Information Desk on the second floor of the Library. Any color is accepted, especially pastel baby colors, but the yarn has to be machine washable. No fuzzy or fun fur yarn please.
