Create The Next Wrestling Superstar*

Location: 1st Floor Meeting Room Ding Ding! Are you ready to step into the wrestling ring? Join Dave Scheidt, author and co-creator of the graphic novel, Agents of S.L.A.M., in this fun workshop! You’ll get to design your very own show-stopping professional wrestler with the help of Dave. He will also do a fun, dramatic reading of the book! Ages 6 and up. Limit 20.
Science Lab*
Location: 1st Floor Meeting Room Science inspired by a book? We will start each class with a reada-loud, so you can try to guess the theme of the program. Then we will discuss the actual science before we play a game and complete a hands-on project influenced by the book. Limit 15. Ages 6 and up.
Family Storytime*
Wednesdays: August 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 • 11:00–11:30am
Location: 1st Floor Meeting Room Come to the Library and have some fun with stories, songs, and more! Register all participants including caregivers. Limit 20. All ages welcome.
Read to Dogs*
Location: 1st Floor Meeting Room Come to the Library and sharpen your reading skills by reading to the cutest therapy dogs! Once you complete your book, we will take your picture and hang it up in the Library! All ages. Limit 20.
Eco Club*
Location: 1st Floor Meeting Room In each program, we will watch a video, play a game, and create a craft that ties into the environmental theme that you helped choose. Come with suggestions because your idea could be next month’s topic! Limit 15. Ages 6 and up.
Musical Play with ScribbleMonster*
Tuesday, July 19 • 6pm
Location: 1st Floor Meeting Room Bring your dancing shoes and wild imagination to the Library for the award-winning music and play of Jim from ScribbleMonster and PBS Kids’ show Wimee’s Words. Using a mix of kindness, music, and humor, ScribbleMonster’s presentation encourages children to participate and think in creative ways. All ages. Limit 20.
