Delhi Pollution Control Committee is an independent authority that is responsible for issuing a license called DPCC license. It is an autonomous body established by the Delhi government in 1991.

1. Sustainable development: It balances the need for economic growth with environmental protection and social equity.
2. Prevention: Preventing natural resources of the country
3. Waste management: Effective waste management to protect the environment
4. Consumer awareness: Convincing the general public about pollution and its harmful effects on human health and motivating them to use paper bags as against plastic bags, use public transport and not use firecrackers.
5. Compliance: Lay down some guidelines for industries and healthcare establishments to minimize environmental pollution in the national capital as per Master Plan Delhi 2021.
