What is DPCC’s consent to establish and consent to operate? DPCC issues the consent to establish industrial plants before their establishment and consent to operate before the industry begins its operation. For the White category industries, the consent certificate is no as they are non-polluting. They need only an undertaking, which can be submitted online and a hard copy of the project and other documents to be sent to the DPCC. Every industry falling under the green, orange, and red categories must apply for consent to establish and operate — the validity period for consent to establish is from one to seven years. And the consent to operate for the red and orange category is five years, and ten years for green category industries. The white category industries must register online and submit the Documents required for DPCC Consent online by paying a one-time fee of Rs. 10,000/-.
