ABOUT THE BUILDER

In 2001, a group of partners formed Homecrete Homes, Inc. to address what they felt was a growing need for energy efficient, sustainable and safe structures in Florida. They saw the increasing demand for highquality yet affordable custom homes that would offer a wide variety of features and amenities, but also provide superior protection from rising energy costs and extreme weather events.

In the years since, award winning Homecrete Homes, headquartered in Port St. Lucie, Florida, has consistently met and exceeded those needs. The company’s success has been recognized by numerous awards through industry affiliations such as the Treasure Coast Builders Association (TCBA), Builder Awards and others. Homecrete Homes has also been listed on the Professional Builder Top 400 list. The company is proud to have been a pioneer in the energy-efficient, “green” construction movement that is now sweeping the nation.

Homecrete Homes has registered homes with the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC), Net Zero Energy Smart Home, and now has partnered with Energy Star for certified homes with the Indoor airPlus Label.

Consider Adding a Performance Package to Your New Home

• Energy Star Certification with Indoor airPlus Label: If you consider the quality and comfort of indoor air important for your family, then this package is for you! With this option, we expand our standard energy features to include spray foam insulation, Energy Star Windows and Doors, Energy Star Appliances and 16 SEER Mechanical Systems that include fresh air intake and exhaust fans with Merv 10 filtration.

• Solar Assistance: A natural add if you are taking the Energy Performance Package, since the home will essentially be solar ready, adding a 3 kWh or a 5kWh solar production system could significantly reduce or eliminate electric costs. With Net Meetering, a solar system could produce more energy than your home consumes. For even more cost savings, there’s still a government tax credit offered for adding a solar power system!

• Storm Resistance: Having this package in Florida will provide peace of mind from severe weather events. We all must consider the safety of our families during hurricane season! With this package, we fortify your home and increase the storm resistance by filling all the concrete block walls with concrete, include top of the line impact windows and use a secondary waterproofing system on the roof under the shingles.

• Water Treatment: Homeowners across the country - and particularly in Florida - agree that having a proper water treatment source is a must for their home. Florida has some of the worst quality water in the nation. Our packages offer a selection of options from water conditioning to complete water purification to ensure everything surpasses your expectations. No more need for water services and water bottles, your tap water will be conditioned beyond the levels of that in bottled water.
