My name is Alison Ashbourne and I am a surface paern designer from the Hunter Valley of New South Wales. I live with my husband Brad, and our two adult children on a beauful green acre in the bush with our chickens, goats, and golden retriever puppies, Kevin and Rowan.
We love spendingme together in our garden, lounging in the shade of tall gums and watching wild ducks vising our dam.

I grew up surrounded by gorgeous fabrics, handmade clothes and quilts, crochet rugs and hand-carved woodwork.
My love of all things colour, paern and creavity naturally evolved into surface design and I’ve been obsessed ever since.
I spend my days living a quiet but intenonal life, gathering inspiraon, sketching, and creang intricate, flowing designs.
I describe my work as vibrant, detailed, and bold. Tradional with a modern twist!
My work serves as a gentle reminder to embrace simplicity and find solace in the present moment.
