ลุยโปรโมท 5 เส้นทางท่องเที่ยวเพื่อคนทั้งมวล Fully Promote 5 Tourism Routes for All

คุณยุทธศักดิ์ สุภสร ผู้ว่าการการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) เปิดเผยว่า ปี 2562 ยังคงเดินหน้าโครงการส่งเสริมการ ท่องเที่ยวเพื่อคนทั้งมวล (Tourism for all) สู่ปีที่ 2 ต่อยอดเส้นทางท่องเที่ยวใหม่ 5 เส้นทางทั่วทุกภูมิภาคของประเทศไทย ปลุกกระแสท่องเที่ยวไทยอย่างเท่าเทียมตั้งแต่ต้นปี 2562 ให้นักท่องเที่ยวทุกกลุ่ม ทุกเพศ ทุกวัย ทุกสภาพร่างกาย โดยเฉพาะ ผูส้ งู อายุและผูพ้ กิ ารได้มโี อกาสเดินทางเข้าถึงแหล่งท่องเทีย่ วได้อย่างไร้อปุ สรรคในการเดินทาง พร้อมกันนี้ ททท. ยังได้จดั ท�า หนังสือเพื่อเป็นสื่อในการแนะน�า 5 เส้นทางท่องเที่ยว เพื่อคนทั้งมวลอีกด้วย ถือเป็นการเริ่มมิติใหม่ทางการท่องเที่ยวที่เปิด กว้างส�าหรับทุกคน และเป็นการน�าร่องให้ทุกภาคส่วนเห็นความส�าคัญของคนทุกกลุ่มอย่างเท่าเทียม ส�าหรับ 5 เส้นทางดังกล่าวประกอบไปด้วย เส้นทางภาคกลาง-จังหวัดราชบุร,ี เส้นทางภาคตะวันออก-จังหวัดชลบุร,ี เส้นทาง ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ-จังหวัดเลย, เส้นทางภาคเหนือ-จังหวัดเชียงราย และเส้นทางภาคใต้-จังหวัดพังงา ทุกเส้นทาง ได้รบั การออกแบบ ปรับปรุงบรรยากาศการท่องเทีย่ วบนพืน้ ฐานทีเ่ ปิดกว้างส�าหรับทุกคน หรือ Universal Design ซึง่ ประกอบด้วย รายละเอียดของสถานทีท่ อ่ งเทีย่ ว จุดแวะพัก จุดชมทิวทัศน์ รูปแบบการเดินทาง ร้านอาหาร ทีพ่ กั โดยทุกคนสามารถจัดกลุม่ ท่องเที่ยวในครอบครัว กลุ่มเพื่อน หรือใครก็ตาม โดยไม่ต้องกังวลว่าสมาชิกในกลุ่มที่มีข้อจ�ากัดทางร่างกายจะพบอุปสรรค ระหว่างการเดินทาง ท�าให้ทุกคนสามารถเที่ยวได้สนุกอย่างเต็มที่ โครงการดังกล่าวยังสอดคล้องกับแผนพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวแห่งชาติ ฉบับที่ 2 (พ.ศ. 2560 - 2564) ของรัฐบาลที่ระบุว่ากลุ่มนักท่องเที่ยวผู้สูงอายุนับเป็นกลุ่มเป้าหมายที่มีศักยภาพสูง และควรให้ความส�าคัญ ในการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านการท่องเที่ยวรองรับนักท่องเที่ยวกลุ่มนี้ เพื่อเป็นการเพิ่มโอกาสในการสร้างรายได้ให้กับประเทศ Mr. Yutthasak Supasorn, Governor of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) revealed that in 2019, TAT shall continue to move forward Tourism For All campaign to the second year in order to extend 5 new tourism routes across all regions of Thailand, and invoke Thai travel current from the beginning of 2019 to offer equal opportunity for all groups, genders, ages, and physical conditions especially for elder and disabled to access to tourist attractions without any travel obstacles. Additionally, TAT has published the books as the media to introduce 5 tourism routes for all. This is considered to begin a new dimension in tourism that is widely opened up for everyone, and urge every sector to equally pay attention to all groups of people.

In addition to such 5 tourism routes, they comprise of central route – Ratchaburi province, eastern route – Chonburi province, north eastern route – Loei province, northern route – Chiang Rai route, and southern route – Phan Nga province. All indicated routes are designed and improved tourism atmospheres based on wide-opening for all concept, or so called Universal Design, which is comprised with detail of tourist attractions, stop points, scenic points, traveling forms, restaurants and accommodations. From now on, everyone can arrange any trip for the group of family, friends or whoever with no restriction in physical condition during the journey, which shall allow everyone to fully enjoy with the trip.

This campaign also matches with the designation in the National Tourism Development Plan No. 2 (B.E. 2017 – 2021) of the government that the group of elder tourists is considered as high capacity target group, and the country should pay attention on the development of tourism infrastructures to take up this group of tourists in order to add opportunity to generate revenue to the country.

พลเอก ฉัตรชัย สาริกัลยะ รองนายกรัฐมนตรี เปิดเผยภายหลังเป็นประธานการประชุมคณะกรรมการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนา คูคลองให้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวและพักผ่อนหย่อนใจว่า เห็นชอบผลการด�าเนินงานพัฒนาเส้นทางท่องเที่ยว และแนวทาง การพัฒนาชุมชนในคลองด�าเนินสะดวก ตามที่องค์การบริหารการพัฒนาพื้นที่พิเศษเพื่อการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืน (องค์การ มหาชน) หรือ อพท. น�าเสนอ พร้อมมอบหมายให้ อพท. ไปด�าเนินการยกร่างจัดตั้งคณะท�างานด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมในพื้นที่ ดังกล่าว ซึ่งจะประกอบด้วยตัวแทนจากหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยก�าชับให้ด�าเนินการพัฒนาคลองด�าเนินสะดวกให้เป็น ต้นแบบของแหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางน�้าภายใต้แนวคิด ‘วิถีคลอง วิถีไทย ตามรอยเสด็จคลองด�าเนิน’ ให้แล้วเสร็จ พร้อมเปิด โฉมใหม่ให้ประชาชนได้เข้าเที่ยวชมได้ก่อนเทศกาลสงกรานต์ปีนี้ โดยรัฐบาลต้องการให้คลองด�าเนินสะดวกเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางน�้าต้นแบบการพัฒนาคลองสวยน�้าใส ชูจุดขายการ ท่องเที่ยวย้อนอดีตตามรอยเสด็จ 3 กษัตริย์แห่งราชวงศ์จักรี และการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร ศึกษาวิถีชีวิตชุมชน จากนั้นมี แนวคิดที่จะขยายการพัฒนาสู่ 77 จังหวัดทั่วประเทศ หรืออย่างน้อยภาคละ 1 แห่ง ด�าเนินงานโดยคณะท�างานประชารัฐ ขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาคูคลองให้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวและพักผ่อนหย่อนใจ จังหวัดราชบุรี มีผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดราชบุรีเป็น ประธาน พร้อมด้วยภาคีเครือข่ายจากทุกภาคส่วนเป็นคณะท�างาน มี อพท. เป็นหน่วยงานประสานให้องค์ความรู้ด้านการ จัดการการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืนโดยชุมชนมีส่วนร่วม ยึดหลักการให้ประชาชนและชุมชนในพื้นที่มีความรู้ ความเข้าใจ และ เข้ามามีสว่ นร่วมในการด�าเนินการให้มากทีส่ ดุ เป้าหมาย คือ ใช้การท่องเทีย่ วโดยชุมชนฟืน้ ฟูวถิ ชี วี ติ ริมน�า้ คลองด�าเนินสะดวก และกระจายประโยชน์จากการท่องเทีย่ วไปยังชุมชนท้องถิน่ อย่างทัว่ ถึงและเป็นธรรม ซึง่ คณะท�างานประชารัฐฯ ระดับจังหวัด ได้ตั้งชมรมส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชนในพื้นที่ต้นแบบ 5 ชมรม รวมกันเป็นชมรมเครือข่าย มีนายอ�าเภอเป็นประธาน เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการท�างานระดับชุมชนอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

Gen. Chatchai Sarikallaya, Deputy Prime Minister revealed after presiding over the conference of committees to propel canal development as tourist attraction, and recreation venue that he was pleased with the progress of tourism route development and community development guideline in Dum Nern Saduak canal proposed by Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (Public Organization), DASTA. Additionally, Gen. Chatchai assigned DASTA to draft the environmental working group forming in such area, which shall comprise with representatives from related agencies as well as urge DASTA to complete the development of Dum Nern Saduak canal as the waterway tourist attraction model under the concept ‘Canal Way – Thai Way to trace the royal personage to Dum Nern Saduak Canal’, and debut its new renovation to the people before Songkran festival this year.

In addition, government wants to promote Dum Nern Saduak canal as the waterway tourist attraction model for the development concept ‘Beautiful Canal with the Clear Water’ in order to promote the selling point of the retrospect tourism to trace the royal personage of 3 Kings of Chakri Dynasty, and agricultural tourism to learn community lifestyle. This development concept is aimed to extend to 77 provinces across the country, or at least one for region proceeded by civil state working group for canal development propulsion as tourist attraction and recreation venue of Ratchaburi province that is comprised of Ratchaburi governor holding the office of the project president along with the network partners from every sector as the working group, and DASTA acting as coordination agency to provide the body of knowledge for sustainable tourism management with the participation from community by allowing people and community in the area that has knowledge and understanding to take part in the development as many as it could be. The goal is to use community based tourism to restore the lifestyle by the side of Dum Nern Saduak canal, and thoroughly and fairly disseminate the benefits from tourism across local community. Additionally, provincial civil state working group has founded 5 community based tourism promotion clubs within model areas as the network clubs, which has sheriff as the president to drive the concrete operation in community level.

Eye on Chinese New Year to Wish for A 100% Recovery of ‘Chinese Traveling to Thailand’ ขณะปิดต้นฉบับคอลัมน์นี้ แว่วมาว่า…ส�านักงานตรวจคน เข้าเมืองซึ่งมี พล.ต.ต.สุรเชษฐ์ หักพาล เป็นผู้บัญชาการ ส�านักงานฯ เตรียมเสนอให้คณะรัฐมนตรีพิจารณาต่อขยายเวลา มาตรการยกเว้นค่าธรรมเนียมวีซ่า ณ ด่านตรวจคนเข้าเมือง หรือ Visa on Arrival (VOA) แก่นักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติ 20 ประเทศ กับอีก 1 เขตเศรษฐกิจ หลังเริ่มใช้เมื่อวันที่ 15 พฤศจิกายนปีที่แล้ว และสิ้นสุดในวันที่ 13 มกราคมปีนี้ โดยมีแนวโน้มขยายไปจนถึงเดือนเมษายนนี้ ครอบคลุมเทศกาล ส�าคัญที่มีนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติมาเยือนไทยมากที่สุด นั่นคือ เทศกาล ‘ตรุษจีน’ ซึ่งปีนี้ตรงกับวันที่ 5 กุมภาพันธ์ และ เทศกาล ‘สงกรานต์’ ในเดือนเมษายน ก่อนเข้าสู่ช่วงนอก ฤดูกาลท่องเที่ยวหรือโลว์ซีซันในช่วงกลางปี หลังจากภาคเอกชนท่องเที่ยวเรียกร้องให้รัฐบาลเร่งพิจารณา ต่อขยายไปจนถึงสงกรานต์นี้ เพื่อให้ผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจ ท่องเที่ยวสามารถจองเที่ยวบินเช่าเหมาล�าหรือชาร์เตอร์ไฟลต์

ท�าแพ็กเกจทัวร์เสนอขายนักท่องเที่ยวได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง และ หนุนให้ภาพรวมนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติมาไทยในปี 2562 กลับมา ขยายตัวตามทิศทางที่ควรจะเป็น โดยเฉพาะตลาด ‘นักท่องเที่ยวจีน’ ซึ่งมีจ�านวนมากเป็นอันดับ 1 ของตลาดต่างชาติเที่ยวไทย ที่สัดส่วนมากถึง 30% ต้องเผชิญ สถานการณ์ติดลบเชิงจ�านวน 5 เดือนติดต่อกัน นับตั้งแต่เดือน กรกฎาคมจนถึงเดือนพฤศจิกายนปีที่แล้ว หลังจากเกิดโศกนาฏกรรมอุบัติเหตุเรือนักท่องเที่ยวจีนล่มที่ จังหวัดภูเก็ตเมื่อต้นเดือนกรกฎาคมที่ผ่านมา จนเป็นเหตุให้มี ผู้เสียชีวิต 47 ราย กลายเป็นก�าแพงใหญ่ในใจชาวจีน เกิดความ กังวลและสงสัยเกี่ยวกับมาตรฐานการดูแลรักษาความปลอดภัย นักท่องเที่ยวของไทยว่าให้ความส�าคัญมากระดับไหน เป็นผลให้ ทั้งหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนบูรณาการความร่วมมือว่าไม่ได้ นิ่งดูดาย แต่จริงจังและเข้มข้นกับการยกระดับมาตรฐานความ ปลอดภัยด้านการท่องเที่ยวเต็มความสามารถ

คุณยุทธศักดิ์ สุภสร ผู้ว่าการการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) ประเมินสถานการณ์ว่าตลาดจีนเที่ยวไทยได้ ‘ผ่านจุด ต�่าสุด’ ในเดือนตุลาคมปีที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งติดลบ 19% มาแล้ว และ แม้ว่าจ�านวนนักท่องเที่ยวจีนในเดือนพฤศจิกายนปีที่ผ่านมา จะยังอยู่ในภาวะหดตัว แต่ก็ถือว่าติดลบน้อยลงจากเดือน ตุลาคม โดยลดลง 13% เมื่อเทียบกับเดือนเดียวกันของปีก่อน และคาดการณ์ว่าในเดือนธันวาคมปีที่แล้ว จะสามารถหยุด การติดลบได้ส�าเร็จ ดึงตลาดจีนเที่ยวไทยให้กลับมาอยู่ใน ‘แดนบวก’ ได้อีกครั้ง หลังเห็นทิศทางการขยายตัวที่ดี ซึ่งได้มาตรการอ�านวยความ สะดวกด้านวีซ่า อย่างการยกเว้นค่าธรรมเนียม VOA มาช่วย กระตุ้นให้เกิดกระแสการเดินทาง จนเกิดการพูดถึงใน โซเชียลมีเดียของจีนเกี่ยวกับมาตรการนี้ รวมถึงการแนะน�า แหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางทะเลในไทย เช่น หมู่เกาะสิมิลัน และเกาะ หลีเป๊ะ สะท้อนให้เห็นว่าชาวจีนยังสนใจแหล่งท่องเที่ยวทาง ทะเลของไทย

hile finishing up this column, I just heard that Immigration Bureau under the command of Pol. Maj. Gen. Surachet Hakpan has prepared to propose the cabinet to consider extending Visa on Arrival exemption scheme (VOA) at immigration checkpoints for tourists from 20 countries including one economic zone after this scheme has been effective on the 15th November of this last year, and shall end on the 13th January this year.

Additionally, there is some potential this scheme shall be extended up to April of this year. Therefore, this shall cover the major festival that there is a largest number of tourists visiting Thailand as ‘Chinese New Year festival’, to be held on the 5th February this year, as well as ‘Songkran festival’ in April before reaching up to the low tourist season in the mid-year.

This extension potential derived from tourism private sector demanding the government to rush the consideration to extend such scheme until Songkran festival this year so that tourism entrepreneurs can continually book charter flights in advance, and offer tour packages to tourists, and eventually this should drive the number of foreign tourists visiting Thailand in 2019 in the way it should be.

โดย ททท. ประเมินว่าตัวเลขนักท่องเทีย่ วจีนปี 2561 น่าจะปิดที่ 10.5 ล้านคนตามเป้าหมาย เพิ่มขึ้นจากปีก่อน ซึ่งมียอดชาวจีน มาเยือนไทยทั้งหมด 9.8 ล้านคน ถือเป็นปีแรกที่สร้าง ประวัติศาสตร์ ‘นิวไฮ’ มีนักท่องเที่ยวจีนมาไทยทะลุ 10 ล้านคน ด้าน คุณวิชิต ประกอบโกศล นายกสมาคมไทยธุรกิจการ ท่องเที่ยว (แอตต้า) คาดการณ์ว่าปี 2562 หรือปีกุนนี้ จะมี นักท่องเที่ยวจีนมาไทยไม่ต�่ากว่า 11 ล้านคน เพิ่มขึ้น 5 แสนคน จากปีที่แล้ว ส�าหรับเหตุผลที่ท�าให้อัตราการเติบโตไม่ร้อนแรง เหมือนในอดีต ซึ่งเคยขยายตัวแบบก้าวกระโดดถึง 15 - 20% ต่อปี เป็นเพราะความท้าทายจากเศรษฐกิจโลก อันได้รับ ผลกระทบจาก ‘สงครามการค้า’ ระหว่างจีนกับสหรัฐอเมริกา อย่างไรก็ตาม ยังมั่นใจว่าทางการจีนจะ ‘เอาอยู่’ กับ สถานการณ์นี้ เพราะเมื่อดูคาดการณ์จีดีพีของจีนในปีนี้ ยังมี แนวโน้มเติบโตดีที่ 6.2% เมื่อเทียบกับปีที่แล้ว แม้การเติบโตจะ ชะลอไปบ้าง แต่ไม่ถือว่าถดถอยจนน่าเป็นห่วง และก็น่าจะ ท�าให้ภาพรวมตลาดจีนเที่ยวไทยเป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน นั่นคือชะลอการเติบโต แต่ไม่ถึงขั้นหดตัวอย่างแน่นอน

0.85% เมือ่ เทียบกับช่วงเดียวกันของปีทแ่ี ล้ว แบ่งเป็นนักท่องเทีย่ ว จากประเทศในกลุ่มอาเซียน 2.31 ล้านคน เพิ่มขึ้น 3.32% ส่วนนักท่องเที่ยวจากยุโรป 2.55 ล้านคน เพิ่มขึ้น 2.08% ด้าน นักท่องเที่ยวจากเอเชียตะวันออกจะอยู่ที่ 4.09 ล้านคน ลดลง 8.91% และเมื่อเจาะเฉพาะ ‘นักท่องเที่ยวจีน’ ซึ่งมีช่วงหยุดยาว เทศกาล ‘ตรุษจีน’ เป็นตัวหนุน คาดว่าจะมาเที่ยวไทย 3.06 ล้านคน ลดลง 3.77% คงต้องตามลุ้นว่าเมื่อถึงช่วงตรุษจีน นักท่องเที่ยวแดนมังกรจะตัดสินใจเก็บกระเป๋าเดินทางมาไทย เพิ่มขึ้นหรือไม่ โดยภาคเอกชนทัง้ สายการบิน บริษทั น�าเทีย่ ว รวมถึงผูป้ ระกอบการ โรงแรมเองคงคาดหวังตรงกัน ว่าอยากเห็นคณะรัฐมนตรี พิจารณาขยายต่อเวลามาตรการยกเว้นค่าธรรมเนียม VOA ไปจนถึงช่วงสงกรานต์ เพราะอย่างน้อยก็ครอบคลุมตรุษจีนที่ น่าจะเป็นอีกหนึ่งดัชนีชี้วัดส�าคัญว่าตลาดจีนเที่ยวไทยฟื้นตัว เต็ม 100% แล้วหรือยัง เพื่อกลับมา ‘อุดมสมบูรณ์’ ให้สมกับชื่อ และความหมายของปีกุน

This particularly includes ‘Chinese Tourist’ market; considered the number one of foreign tourists visiting Thailand with the ratio as high as 30% that has been encountering the adverse circumstance for 5 consecutive months starting from July to November of last year.

Such adverse circumstance derived from the great tragedy of the cruise ship accident killing 47 passengers, which had caused a wound in Chinese’s minds and raised a big concern upon to the level of tourist safety scheme in Thailand. This incident caused government and private agencies to come together and seriously elevate tourism safety standard in a full force.

Mr. Yutthasak Supasorn, Governor of Tourism Authority of Thailand (THA) estimated the

คุณวิชิต ประเมินด้วยว่า นับจากนี้ตลาดนักท่องเที่ยวจีนเยือน ไทยจะเติบโตเฉลี่ยปีละ 5 - 10% และท�าให้ในอีก 5 ปีข้างหน้า มีชาวจีนมาเที่ยวไทยทะลุ 15 ล้านคน นับเป็นช่วงที่โครงสร้าง ตลาดมีการปรับฐาน นักท่องเที่ยวมีพฤติกรรมเดินทางท่องเที่ยว ด้วยตัวเอง (เอฟ.ไอ.ที.) มากขึ้น คาดว่าจะครองสัดส่วนสูงถึง 70% เลยทีเดียว แม้นักท่องเที่ยวกลุ่มเดินทางเป็นหมู่คณะหรือกรุ๊ปทัวร์ของตลาด จีนเที่ยวไทยจะมีสัดส่วนน้อยลง เหลือที่ 30% แต่เมื่อดูในเชิง จ�านวนและโอกาสการท�าตลาด ก็ยังคาดว่ากรุ๊ปทัวร์จีนจะยัง มีอยู่ต่อไป ด้วยดีมานด์การเดินทางจากเมืองรองที่ยังนิยม เดินทางกับบริษัทน�าเที่ยวอยู่ อย่างไรก็ดี คาดว่าในระยะยาวตลาดจีนเที่ยวไทยจะถึงจุดอิ่มตัว ที่ 20 ล้านคนต่อปี นับว่าเป็นจ�านวนที่มากอยู่ดี และนี่เป็นเพียง แค่คาดการณ์ตลาดเดียวเท่านั้น ยังไม่รวมตลาดอื่น ๆ ที่มี ศักยภาพในการเติบโตเชิงจ�านวน เช่น อินเดีย อาเซียน และ ชาติอื่น ๆ ในเอเชียตะวันออก หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องจึงต้อง มองถึงการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน เพื่อขยายขีดความสามารถ ในการรองรับให้เพียงพอกับดีมานด์การเดินทางเข้าไทยใน ระยะยาว ฟากสภาอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (สทท.) รายงานถึงแนวโน้มนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติมาไทยในไตรมาสแรก ของปีนี้ว่า จ�านวนน่าจะอยู่ที่ 10.7 ล้านคน เพิ่มขึ้นเล็กน้อย THAI HOTELS & TRAVEL

circumstance that Chinese market traveling to Thailand had already passed ‘the Lowest Point’ since October last year with the negative 19%, and even though the number of Chinese tourists in November last year had been in the shorten state, it was better than October; considered to reduce by 13% comparing to the same month of the previous year, and it was expected that in December of last year the shorten state would be completely stopped, and successfully brought Chinese market traveling to Thailand back to the ‘positive zone’ once again.

In addition, good expansion trend derived from VOA scheme that helped stimulating traveling current and widely initiated a word of mouth over social media of China upon this scheme, as well as the introduction of the tourist attractions over the seas such as Similan islands, and Koh Lipe Island. This proved that Chinese has still been interested in marine tourist attractions of Thailand.

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) expected the number of Chinese tourists in 2018 to be closed up by 10.5 million people, which was considered to reach its goal and increase from the previous year with the number of Chinese tourists traveling to Thailand at 9.8 million people. Therefore, this was considered an all times ‘New High’ record with the number of Chinese tourists traveling to Thailand exceeding 10 million people a year.

Additionally, Mr. Wichit Prakobkosol, President of The Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) expected that in 2019 or the year of the pig, the number of Chinese tourists traveling to Thailand shall not be less than 11 million people, or considered increasing by 5 hundred thousand people from the previous year. In addition to the

factor to cause non-red hot growth comparing to the past, which used to have such a leap growth by 15 - 20% per year, it is because the challenge from the world economy derives from the ‘Trade War’ between China and America. However, it makes believe that Chinese authority shall be able to handle this circumstance because GDP of China this year still has potential to get a good growth by 6.2% comparing to the previous year. Even though the growth might be decelerated at some points, it is not quite a big issue. On the other hand, this should be quite similar to the overall Chinese market traveling to Thailand as well, which is supposed to have decelerated growth, but definitely not a serious decreasing.

Mr. Wichit estimated that from now on Chinese tourist market traveling to Thailand shall grow in average of 5 - 10% per year, and in the next 5 years, the number of Chinese traveling to Thailand shall exceed 15 million people. This is considered as the period when the market structure shall change its base as tourists shall prefer traveling on their own, or called F.I.T. in greater number, which is expected to dominate as high as 70% of the market ratio.

Even though the group tour tourists in Chinese market traveling to Thailand shall dominate as less as 30%, after taking consideration in term of volume and marketing opportunity, it is expected that Chinese group tour shall remain with the traveling demand from secondary cities where Chinese tourists still prefer traveling with travel agents.

However, it is expected that in the long run Chinese market traveling to Thailand shall reach its saturation point at 20 million people per year,

which this is considered quite a huge figure anyway.

And this is just the estimation in only one market, not including other markets that have potential to grow in term of volume such as India, ASEAN and other nations in East Asia. Therefore, all related agencies need to foresee upon the development of infrastructures in order to extend the capacity to match up with the demand for traveling to Thailand in the long run.

Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT) reported upon the trend of foreign tourists traveling to Thailand in the first quarter of this year that the figure shall be at 10.7 million people, or considered to increase a bit by 0.85% comparing to the same period of the previous year. This can be divided into tourists from the countries in ASEAN group by 2.31 million people, or considered to increase by 3.32%, tourists from Europe by 2.55 million people, or considered to increase by 2.08%, tourists from East Asia by 4.09 million people, or considered to decrease by 8.91%, and particularly for ‘Chinese tourist’, which has long vacation during ‘Chinese New Year festival’ as the supporting factor, is expected at 3.06 million people, or considered to decrease by 3.77%. Now, we must pray when Chinese New Year period is come, the number of tourists from the land of dragon traveling to Thailand shall be whether increased or not.

However, private sector including airlines, travel agents as well as hotel entrepreneurs all agreed that the cabinet should consider to extend VOA scheme until Songkran festival period because at least, it shall cover Chinese New Year period as well, which this should be one of the key indexes to indicate whether Chinese market traveling to Thailand has a 100% recovery or not so that tourism shall get back on track and gain ‘prosperity’ to match up with the meaning of the year of the pig.

World Economy Against ‘VUCA’ State - The Uncertainty Pulse ปัจจัยร้อนที่ไม่ว่าใครก็ต้องจับตาชั่วโมงนี้ หนีไม่พ้นภาวะ เอาแน่เอานอนไม่ได้ของ ‘เศรษฐกิจโลก’ และจากการประเมิน ของหน่วยงานรัฐด้านเศรษฐกิจและภาคธุรกิจทุกอุตสาหกรรม มองตรงกันว่าเศรษฐกิจไทยปีนี้ยังเติบโตก็จริง แต่เป็นการ เติบโตแบบชะลอตัว แล้วภาคท่องเที่ยวของไทยล่ะเป็นอย่างไร? คุณทิตนันท์ มัลลิกามาส ผู้ช่วยผู้ว่าการสายนโยบายการเงิน ธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย (ธปท.) กล่าวบนเวทีของสมาคมไทย ธุรกิจการท่องเที่ยว บ้านใกล้เรือนเคียงของสมาคมโรงแรมไทย ในหัวข้อ ‘ทิศทางเศรษฐกิจและการท่องเที่ยวไทยปี 2562’ ว่า ปีนเี้ ศรษฐกิจโลกโดยรวมมีแนวโน้มขยายตัวชะลอลง แต่สว่ นใหญ่ ยังขยายตัวสูงกว่าระดับศักยภาพ ทว่าจะเข้าสู่ภาวะ ‘VUCA’ หมายถึง ภาวะที่มีความผันผวนสูง ไม่แน่นอน และไม่สามารถ คาดการณ์เหตุการณ์ต่าง ๆ ได้ แน่นอนว่าปัจจัยหลักมาจาก ‘สงครามการค้า’ ของประเทศ มหาอ�านาจระหว่างจีนกับสหรัฐอเมริกา แม้ความตึงเครียด ระหว่างสหรัฐฯ และจีน จะผ่อนคลายลงบ้างในระยะสั้น หลังการประชุม G20 ก็ตาม โดยนโยบายกีดกันทางการค้าของ สหรัฐฯ จะส่งผลให้เศรษฐกิจจีนอาจชะลอตัวลงในปีนี้

อย่างไรก็ดี ประเมินว่าไม่น่าจะชะลอมาก เพราะทางการจีน น่าจะมีมาตรการสนับสนุนเศรษฐกิจอย่างต่อเนื่อง ขณะที่การถอนตัวออกจากสหภาพยุโรปของสหราชอาณาจักร (Brexit) ก็เป็นอีกปัจจัยที่ต้องจับตา เพราะอาจก่อความ ไม่แน่นอนแก่เศรษฐกิจในสหภาพยุโรปมากขึ้น ทั้งนี้ คาดการณ์ ว่าภาพรวมเศรษฐกิจยุโรปน่าจะเกิดการชะลอตัวตามการ ส่งออกจากภาวะการค้าโลก และความเชื่อมั่นที่ลดลงจาก ปัญหาการเมืองในหลายประเทศ อย่างไรก็ดี อัตราการขยายตัว ยังสูงกว่าระดับศักยภาพ ค่าเงินยังคงผันผวน ความผันผวนของเศรษฐกิจโลกจึงกดดัน ‘ค่าเงินบาท’ ให้เผชิญกับ ความผันผวนมากขึ้น เพราะเมื่อดูช่วงต้นปี ค่าเงินบาทแข็งค่า อยู่ที่ระดับ 31 บาทต่อดอลลาร์สหรัฐ ก่อนจะอ่อนค่ามาอยู่ที่ 33.50 บาทต่อดอลลาร์สหรัฐในไตรมาส 3 ปี 2561 แต่ก็ถือว่า ไม่ได้อ่อนค่ามากนัก เมื่อเทียบกับค่าเงินในภูมิภาคและบาง ประเทศที่ค่าเงินอ่อนค่ารุนแรง จากปัจจัยความเปราะบางใน ประเทศ

C omplexity ความสับสนซับซ้อนของปัจจัยแวดล้อมต่าง ๆ A mbiguity ความคลุมเครือ ไม่ชัดเจนของปัจจัยต่าง ๆ ขณะที่ประเทศไทยถือว่ามีเสถียรภาพค่อนข้างเข้มแข็ง จากทุนส�ารองระหว่างประเทศที่อยู่ในระดับสูง และดุลบัญชี เดินสะพัดเกินดุล ท�าให้ค่าเงินบาทของไทยแม้จะอ่อนค่า แต่ก็ ไม่ได้อ่อนค่ามากนัก อย่างไรก็ตาม ภาคธุรกิจต้องตั้งรับให้ดี เพราะสถานการณ์ความผันผวนจะไม่หยุดแค่ปีนี้ แต่จะผันผวน อย่างนี้ต่อไปในอีกหลายปีข้างหน้า

เมื่อปัจจัยเศรษฐกิจโลกส่งผลกระทบต่อภาคธุรกิจในภาพรวม แน่นอนว่าธุรกิจท่องเที่ยวเองก็หลบเลี่ยงไม่ได้ การบริหาร จัดการเพื่อรับมือกับความเสี่ยงทางธุรกิจและการเงินจึงเป็น สิ่งส�าคัญมาก โดยผู้ประกอบการสามารถหันไปใช้สกุลเงิน ท้องถิ่นส�าหรับการค้าขายในภูมิภาคอาเซียน หรือจะเป็นการ เปิดบัญชีเงินตราต่างประเทศ ถือเป็นเครื่องมือที่จะช่วยลด ความผันผวนเรื่องค่าเงินได้ในระดับหนึ่ง คุณทิตนันท์ กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า ด้านภาพรวมเศรษฐกิจไทย ธปท. คาดว่าปี 2562 จีดีพีจะขยายตัวที่ 4% แม้จะชะลอตัวลงเมื่อ เทียบกับปีที่แล้วซึ่งขยายตัวอยู่ที่ 4.2% แต่ก็ยังถือว่าดีกว่า ในอดีตค่อนข้างมาก เพราะได้ ‘แรงส่ง’ จาก ‘อุปสงค์ภาย ในประเทศ’ แม้ว่า ‘อุปสงค์ต่างประเทศ’ จะ ‘ชะลอ’ ลงก็ตาม เมื่อลงลึกในรายละเอียดของอุปสงค์ภายในประเทศ ตัวแปรแรก อย่างการบริโภคของภาคเอกชน คาดมีแนวโน้มขยายตัว ต่อเนื่อง ตามรายได้นอกภาคเกษตรที่ปรับดีขึ้น และกระจายตัว มากขึ้น ประกอบกับมีมาตรการสนับสนุนเพิ่มเติมจากภาครัฐ การลงทุนของภาคเอกชน ประเมินว่าน่าจะขยายตัวสูงขึ้น เช่นกัน จากโครงการลงทุนภาครัฐที่ชัดเจนมากขึ้น รวมถึงการ ลงทุนย้ายฐานการผลิตมาไทย ขณะที่การใช้จ่ายของภาครัฐ ยังเป็นแรงส่งเศรษฐกิจ โดยเฉพาะการลงทุนในโครงสร้าง พื้นฐานที่มีความชัดเจน แม้บางโครงการจะล่าช้าไปบ้างจาก ข้อจ�ากัดด้านการเบิกจ่าย ด้านอุปสงค์ต่างประเทศ ตัวแปรหลักอย่างการส่งออกสินค้า คาดการณ์ว่าจะขยายตัวต�่าลง ตามเศรษฐกิจและปริมาณ การค้าโลก วัฏจักรสินค้าอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ที่มีแนวโน้มชะลอลง รวมทั้งได้รับผลกระทบทางตรงและทางอ้อมของสงคราม การค้า ท่องเที่ยวขยายตัวเล็กน้อย ฟากการท่องเที่ยว ยังมีแนวโน้มขยายตัวต่อเนื่อง แต่ไม่สูงเท่า ในอดีต จากเศรษฐกิจตลาดหลักชะลอตัว โดยตลาด ‘นักท่องเที่ยวจีน’ มีแนวโน้มฟื้นตัวอย่างช้า ๆ รวมถึงข้อจ�ากัด

ด้านอุปทาน โดยปัจจุบันสนามบินส่วนใหญ่ของบริษัท ท่าอากาศยานไทย จ�ากัด (มหาชน) หรือ ทอท. รองรับผูโ้ ดยสาร เกินขีดความสามารถในการรองรับทั้งขาเข้าและขาออก ทั้งจาก เที่ยวบินระหว่างประเทศและในประเทศ เมื่อลงลึกถึงตัวเลขขีดความสามารถในการรองรับของสนามบิน หลักอย่างสุวรรณภูมิแล้ว พบว่าอยู่ที่ 45 ล้านคนต่อปี แต่ ปัจจุบันมีปริมาณผู้โดยสารใช้งานจริงที่ 59.1 ล้านคนต่อปี และ ตามแผนการขยายสนามบินสุวรรณภูมิของ ทอท. จะสามารถ รองรับผู้โดยสารได้เพิ่มเป็น 60 ล้านคนในปี 2563, 90 ล้านคน ในปี 2564, 105 ล้านคนในปี 2569 และ 150 ล้านคน ในปี 2573 ขณะที่สนามบินดอนเมือง ขีดความสามารถในการรองรับอยู่ที่ 30 ล้านคนต่อปี แต่ปัจจุบันมีปริมาณผู้โดยสารใช้งานจริงที่ 37.2 ล้านคนต่อปีแล้ว โดยตามแผนพัฒนาของ ทอท. จะขยาย ขีดความสามารถในการรองรับได้เพิ่มเป็น 40 ล้านคนใน ปี 2567 “แม้ความเสี่ยงที่อาจท�าให้เศรษฐกิจไทยขยายตัวต�่ากว่า ที่ประเมิน จะมาจากความเสี่ยงด้านต่างประเทศเป็นหลัก โดยเฉพาะมาตรการกีดกันทางการค้าของสหรัฐฯ กับจีน หรือ สงครามการค้า แต่ภาคท่องเที่ยวจะยังเป็นเครื่องยนต์ส�าคัญ ต่อการขยายตัวของเศรษฐกิจไทย ด้วยสัดส่วนมากกว่า 10% ของจีดีพี และแนวโน้มสัดส่วนมีแต่จะเพิ่มขึ้นต่อเนื่อง ท�าให้ ภาคท่องเที่ยวมีบทบาทส�าคัญมากขึ้นต่อเศรษฐกิจไทยไม่แพ้ ภาคอื่น ๆ” คุณทิตนันท์ ผู้ช่วยผู้ว่าการสายนโยบายการเงิน ธปท. ย�้า

though Thai economy shall grow this year, in fact it is just a decelerating growth, and what is going to happen with Thai tourism sector?

Mr. Titanan Malligamas, Assistant to Governor in Financial Policy, Bank of Thailand (BOT) said in the forum of the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) over the topic ‘Economic Trend and Thai Tourism 2019’ that this year overall world economy tends to have decelerating expansion, but mostly it shall get some expansion higher than the potential level, however, soon the world economy shall approach toward ‘VUCA’ (the state of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity conditions in business).

Certainly, the main factor of this state derives from ‘Trade War’ of the powerful nations between China and America even though the tension between both countries has been lessening in the short term after G20 conference. Additionally, the trade obstruction policy of America shall cause the deceleration in China economy this year, however, such deceleration shall not be a big deal because Chinese authority should release the sequence of economic supporting schemes.

Additionally, the withdrawal from EU of the United Kingdom, called Brexit is another factor to keep an eye on because this shall cause the uncertainty to economy in the United Kingdom even more. It is expected that the overall economy in Europe should be decelerated following the export deriving from the world trade state, and decreasing confidence caused by political problems in several countries.

However, the expansion rate is still higher than potential level anyway.

Currency Fluctuation Still Remain The fluctuation of the world economy puts on some pressure to ‘Thai Baht Currency’ and causes even more fluctuation because at the beginning of last year, Thai Baht was strengthened as high as 31 Baht per One US Dollar before falling down to 33.50 Baht per One US Dollar in the third quarter of 2018.

However, such currency rate was not considered as weak as regional currency rate and some countries that encountered the severe weak currency deriving from fragile factors in those countries.

Additionally, Thailand was considered to have quite strong stability deriving from the high level of international reserve fund and surplus in the current account, therefore, even though Thai Baht might be falling down in some periods, it was not considered such a severe weakness. However, business sector should be well prepared because the fluctuation circumstance shall not be stopped only for the last year, but it still keeps fluctuating for years to come.

When the world economic factor gives the direct impact to business sector in overall, tourism business shall inevitably get some impacts as well.

Therefore, good management to take up business and financial risks is considered so important, which entrepreneurs shall change to use the local currencies for trading in ASEAN region or open international currency account considered as the supporting tool to help reducing the currency fluctuation to a certain extent.

Mr. Titanan added that in addition to Thai economy in overall, BOT expected that in 2019 GDP shall

expand as high as 4%. Even though this shall be decelerated comparing to the previous year, which was expanded as high as 4.2%, it is considered much better than the past years. This derives from the ‘driving force’ of ‘domestic demand’ even though ‘international demand’ has been decelerated all along.

In addition to the inside detail of the domestic demand, it was found that the first factor as the consumption of private sector is expected to have continual expansion trend following the increasing revenue outside agricultural sector, and wider dissemination as well as additional supporting schemes from government sector.

For the investments of private sector, it was evaluated to gain higher expansion as well deriving from more definite investing projects of government sector as well as investments to move manufacturing bases to Thailand, while budget spending of government sector shall continue to be the driving force to economy especially for the investments in infrastructures that will become more definite even though some projects might be delay from the restriction in disbursement.

In addition to the international demand, the key factor as product export is expected to get lower expansion following the economy and the world trading volume as well as electronics product cycle that tends to be decelerated, and direct and indirect impacts of trade war.

Tourism Gets Less Expansion In addition to tourism sector, it continues to get continual expansion still, but it shall not be as high as the past years deriving from the deceleration in the economy of the major markets, which ‘Chinese

tourist’ market tends to get slow recovery, while the demand shall have some limitations. Currently, most airports of Airport of Thailand (Public) Co., Ltd., or AOT has taken up passengers exceeding its capacity both arrival and departure from both domestic and international flights.

According to the capacity to take up passengers of the main airport as Suvarnabhumi Airport, it was found in approximation of 45 million passengers per year, but currently, the volume of passenger has practically been 59.1 million passengers per year, and according to the expansion plan of Suvarnabhumi Airport of AOT, such figure shall be added up to 60 million passengers per year in 2021, 105 million passengers in 2026, and 150 million passengers in 2030.

In addition to Don Mueang Airport, its capacity to take up passengers is at 30 million passengers per year, but currently, the volume of passengers has practically been 37.2 million passengers per year, but with the development plan of AOT, Don Mueang Airport shall be expanded its capacity as high as 40 million passengers in 2024.

“Even though there is some risk that may cause Thai economy to have lower expansion than the expectation mainly deriving from the risk in foreign affairs especially for the trade obstruction scheme of America against China, also called Trade War, tourism sector is still the key mechanism for the expansion of Thai economy with the ratio more than 10% of GDP, and such ratio tends to increase in continuity. เทรนด์ที่ 6 พลาสติกไม่ใช่เรื่องเจ๋ง อีกหนึ่งเทรนด์น่าสนใจในปีนี้ คือ การเปลี่ยนจาก ‘ความกังวล’ เรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อม มาเป็นการลงมือปฏิบัติมากขึ้น โดย นักท่องเทีย่ วกลุม่ มิลเลนเนียลส์และกลุม่ เจเนอเรชัน Z จะมองหา ประสบการณ์ที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมในจุดหมายที่เดินทางไป ในขณะที่ผู้ให้บริการที่พักเองก็มองหาช่องทางที่จะลดการใช้ พลาสติกและเพิ่มใบรับรองในด้านการอนุรักษ์อย่างยั่งยืน ทั้งนี้ นักท่องเที่ยวจากทั่วโลกกว่า 86% ต่างพูดเป็นเสียงเดียว กันว่า พวกเขายินดีที่จะใช้เวลาท�ากิจกรรมช่วยชดเชย ผลกระทบด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมที่เกิดขึ้นจากทริปของตน โดยกว่า 1 ใน 3 หรือ 37% เต็มใจที่จะเก็บขยะและพลาสติกจาก ชายหาดหรือแหล่งท่องเที่ยวอื่น ๆ เทรนด์ที่ 7 เก็บรักษาประสบการณ์ เทรนด์การเดินทางในปีนี้จะก้าวไปอีกขั้น มากกว่าการเดินทาง เพื่อสัมผัสประสบการณ์ แต่จะค�านึงถึง ‘สิ่งที่ท�า’ มีความส�าคัญ มากพอ ๆ กับ ‘การไปเยือน’ เพราะจากการส�ารวจความคิด เห็นของนักท่องเที่ยว พบว่ากว่า 60% ให้ความส�าคัญกับ ประสบการณ์มากกว่าสิ่งของที่ได้มาเสียอีก ท�าให้ในปี 2019 เรา จะเห็นนักท่องเที่ยวเก็บเกี่ยวประสบการณ์มากมายทั้งที่แตกต่าง และมีความเป็นท้องถิ่นอย่างแท้จริง

rights, equality or working condition. Additionally, this trend shall raise more questions in the respect of social, political and environmental matters in various destinations before making decision to choose where to go.

An interesting figure is that currently, almost half of tourists or 49% felt that social matter in the destination eyed by tourists shall become a true factor to made decision. Additionally, over 58% of tourists chose to go to the destination that they thought their traveling should give no impact to people who live there.

This reflects that even though there were a larger number of tourists looking for new experience, and true locality, in the same time, they wanted to feel safe no matter what gender, race or sexual orientation they are.

In addition, ‘Destination Pride’ platform can access to variety of information sources in order to rank up the destinations chosen by travelers whether such destination is friendly to the tourists with diversity in sexual orientation, also called LGBT+ or not.

Booking.com revealed that one fifth of tourists, or 19% has planned to join Pride festival in 2019, which the majority of this group was dominated by young age travelers between 18 – 34 years, or considered as 30% of this group.

On the other hand, several destinations and organizations shall increase their roles to support a lady tourist who travel alone.

6th Trend: Plastic Is Not Cool Another interesting trend this year is the transition from ‘Environmental Concern’ to ‘Actual Practice’

as the group of Millennials and Gen Z tourists shall look for experiences that are environmental friendly upon the destinations they are traveling to, while accommodation providers try to look for the way to reduce the use of plastics, and add sustainable conservation certificates.

In addition, over 86% of tourists around the world seemed to agree that they were pleased to take time to do some activities as the compensation for environmental impact occurred from their trips as one third or 37% of tourists were willing to pick up trashes and plastics from beaches or other tourist attractions.

7th Trend: Collect Experiences Traveling trend this year shall take a further step rather than traveling for experiencing, but tourists shall aware in ‘what they do’, which is so important no less than ‘visiting’ because according to the tourist survey, it was found that over 60% of tourists paid attention to experiences rather than things they had. Therefore, in 2019 we shall see tourists collecting a load of experiences in spite of differences and true locality.

8th Trend: Awesome Short Trip Besides, the survey result indicated the other important trend that over half of tourists across the globe or 53% has planned weekend trip in greater number. In 2019, it was expected that a short trip specialized for each individual tourist, and packed up with traveling itinerary shall become red hot, which distinctly reflects the ‘Less is More’ concept because tourists would rather look for special experiences specialized for their own preferences. This derives from continual innovation development in term of traveling i.e. air routes, flight volume increasing, cheaper airplane ticket and on demand car rental service that is quite easy and convenient, and can be shared from one to another as well as real-time information about public transportation service, which smoothly provides services to all visitors. All these factors can create diversity for the short trip, and shall suit each certain traveler even more.

Therefore, even though the trip shall be shorten, if we can response to the proposition about the individual preference, and satisfy all tourists, it is considered to achieve the success. อ่าวครกเข้าสู่เส้นชัยบนเกาะพิทักษ์ซึ่งอยู่ห่างจากฝั่งประมาณ 1 กิโลเมตร แน่นอนว่าจะต้องวิ่งลุยน�้าทะเลสูงระดับหัวเข่าหรือ ประมาณ 30 เซนติเมตร เพิ่มสกิลการออกแรงของกล้ามเนื้อขา อีกระดับ แค่คิดก็น่าสนุกแล้ว ส�าหรับอีกจุดที่ขอแนะน�าให้ไปลองปักหมุดกัน คือ โครงการ พัฒนาส่วนพระองค์ จังหวัดชุมพร (หนองใหญ่) เพราะที่นี่มี ความมหัศจรรย์ สร้างสรรค์โดยศิลปินชื่อธรรมชาติ มีสายลม และผืนน�้าทะเล ช่วยพัดพาเม็ดทรายมาทับถมกันเป็นเวลา หลายพันปี ก่อร่างสร้างสันทรายที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดในไทย ไม่แปลกใจเลยว่าท�าไมบริเวณนี้ถึงโอบคลุมไปด้วยสีเขียวของป่า เนินสันทราย เพราะนี่คือส่วนหนึ่งของความส�าเร็จในโครงการ พัฒนาส่วนพระองค์ ในหลวงรัชกาลที่ 9 พระราชทานที่ดิน ส่วนพระองค์ในการฟื้นฟูสภาพป่าเสื่อมโทรม และพัฒนาให้เป็น พื้นที่เกษตรกรรม นับเป็นหนึ่งในแหล่งพักผ่อนหย่อนใจ แปลกตา ไม่เหมือนใคร มีเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติให้ได้เดินชม พันธุ์ไม้แปลกหายากตลอดเส้นทางกว่า 2 กิโลเมตร นอกเหนือจากสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวหาดทรายชายทะเลแล้ว ชุมพร ยังมีแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศโดดเด่น เชื่อว่าหลายคนคงคุ้นหูกับ ชื่อของ ‘ล่องแพพะโต๊ะ’ ซึ่งอยู่คู่กับอ�าเภอพะโต๊ะมานาน ด้วยความเป็นแหล่งต้นน�้าของแม่น�้าหลังสวน ไหลคดเคี้ยวตาม ขุนเขา การล่องแพ ที่ผลิตขึ้นด้วยท่อพีวีซีจะพาคุณไปสัมผัส ธรรมชาติริมสองฝั่งคลองต้นน�้าซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ป่าสมบูรณ์ พบเห็น สัตว์ป่าน่าสนใจ เช่น นกเงือก ค่างแว่นถิ่นใต้ลิง ก�าลังหากินใน ป่าธรรมชาติ ก่อนจะถึงช่วงสวนผลไม้ของชาวบ้าน ทั้งสวน กาแฟ สวนมังคุด และสวนทุเรียน บางช่วงเป็นแก่งหินน�้าไหล เชี่ยว ก่อความรู้สึกของการผจญภัยบทใหม่ และในทุก ๆ ปี จะมีการจัดเทศกาลล่องแพพะโต๊ะอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ ในช่วงวันเสาร์ และอาทิตย์ที่ 2 ของเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ สร้างความสนุกสนาน และตื่นเต้นให้แก่ผู้เข้าร่วมงาน สะท้อนให้เห็นชัดว่าท�าไมการ ล่องแพพะโต๊ะถึงได้เป็นกิจกรรมที่นักท่องเที่ยวห้ามพลาด เมื่อมาเยือนชุมพร

This should be just enough to dominate the most popular recreation place in Chumporn where visitor can ride a bicycle or drive a car along the beach because the beach is next to the road with no interference of any resort setting along the road at all. Additionally, there was a myth depicted that in the former times, Haad Tung Wua Lan Beach used to be the habitation of a large number of wild animals, and one day a hunter came in to hunt an animal, and killed one cow, however, such cow was miraculously resurrected and ran away to the wood to derive the name of this beach. Therefore, the sculpture of the running cow with long horns was made, and put up by the beach side as the photo spot for the visitors.

The virtue of Haad Tung Wua Lan Beach is not only offer the peacefulness for tourists to lie down listening to the sound of wave and cool breeze, or dip themselves into the seawater, but also feature the diving spots that visitors can hire a long-tailed boat to Po Bae Foothill, situated to the south of the beach to witness beautiful school of fish, coral reefs and sea anemones.

If visitors cannot get enough of it, they can take boat to the wide open sea toward ‘Mu Ko Chumporn National Park’, which features over 40 islands considered to be the most abundant and dense coral reefs in Thailand. The most popular destination among the divers is Mo Ko Ngam Island where divers can witness the deep water corals at 30 – 70 feet below the water surface level as well as several kinds of school of fish, and on the lucky day, diver can witness a giant whale shark. Another spot not to miss and this should be a good idea for atmosphere changing is the nature trail of Ao Tung Ka Mangrove Forest where visitor can witness the lush green trees, and ending the day with the major highlight, the Rope Bridge to take pictures over the spectacular estuary.

In addition to interesting resort over Haad Tung Wua Lan Beach, the writer would like to recommend staying in ‘Chumporn Cabana’; a moderate size resort with 79 guestrooms that offers the great peacefulness and spectacular view of the sea.

Besides, there is a sufficiency economy center, called ‘Suan Plearn’ that offers the delightfulness to visitors every day.

After completing the mission from Mo Ko Chumporn National Park, if visitor wants to witness a 360 degree spectacular view of Chumporn cityscape, ‘Khao Massi View Point’ is the place in this regard because this high peak with close proximity to the city of Chumporn features the boundless scenery of Pharadoraphap Beach laying down toward the sea.

Besides the cityscape of Chumporn and spectacular view of below beach, there is a giant Phra Bodhisattya Awalokitesuan sculpture over the mainland Chinese architecture building, situated in the spacious ground over the Massi peak for visitors to pay homage and wish for luck.

For those who want to take a role of fisherman and islander once in a lifetime, the writer would recommend to visit ‘Ko Pitak Island’ to taste fresh seafood from the villager’s boat, and stay overnight at homestay in June of every year. For running lover, there is an interesting event, which is so popular among Thai and foreign tourists, called ‘Lang Suan Mini Marathon’ that requires all runners to run over the sand ridge when the sea level is dropped. The starting point is at a reproduction HTMS Chakri Naruebet, situated at Lang Suan estuary, and runners must run over the beautiful seaside route in the total of 14 kilometers, and cross over Ao Krok bay toward the finish line on Ko Pilak Island, which is approximately 1 kilometer away from the shoreline. Basically, all runners must run over the knee deep seawater, or approximately 30 centimeters in height, which this shall need a further running skill and work out their leg muscles even

more. Definitely, this is such a challenging event for all runners.

Another recommended spot to stop by is Nong Yai Development Project under Royal Initiative because this place features the miracles created by the natural artists including wind and seawater that jointly drifted up a massive of sand grains to accumulate in shore for thousands of years to form up the largest sand ridge in Thailand. This was why this area is embraced with lush green of the sand ridge forest, and is considered as one of the achievement in the royal initiative project of H.M. King Rama 9, who bestowed on his own land for restoring the condition of deteriorated forest, and developing it as agricultural area. Therefore, this is considered an extraordinary recreation venue that offers the approximated 2 kilometers nature trail for visitors to witness several kinds of rare seedlings throughout the route.

Besides sea and sand tourist attractions, Chumporn features an outstanding eco-tourist attraction where many tourists should be familiar with as ‘Pa To Rafting’, which has been existing in the District of Pa To for a long time. This district is the upstream source of Lang Suan River that windingly flow along the lofty mountains. Therefore, rafting with the raft made of PVC pipes shall offer such a wonderful experience to witness the natures along the both side of the upstream canal, which is such a fertile wood, as well as observe some interesting wild animals such as hornbills, and dusky langur looking for food in natural wood, before reaching up to the part where is so abundant with the fruit fields of villagers including coffee, mangosteen, and durian.

Additionally, some part of rafting shall face the islets with swift-flowing water that initiates the sense of adventure. Every year the district shall arrange the Greatest Pa To Rafting Festival during the 2nd Saturday and Sunday of February that is considered such a joyful and exciting event among visitors, and distinctly reflects why Pa To rafting is such the activity not to miss when visiting Chumporn.

These are all in one experiences of the secondary city, called ‘Chumporn’ that is considered as the perfect place for beautiful scenery, peacefulness and exciting adventure.

ventually by the beginning of this year, Thailand should conduct the general election for the members of the house representatives, which is was expected to take place in March 2019. All Thai people have a duty to cast a vote in this election following the constitution.

According to Election of Members of the House of Representatives Act B.E. 2522, it indicates the moderate detail as follows: 1. Qualifications of Voters 1) Such person must be Thai citizenship, in case changing the citizenship, such person must be Thai citizenship no less than 5 years.

2) Such person must be not less than 18 years old on the day of election.

3) Such person must have the name in the certain election district not less than 90 days toward the day of election.

2. Notification of the Incidents for Miss-Exercising the Right to Cast a Vote Includes as follows: 1) Such person has an urgent business that requires to travel to a great distance area.

2) Such person get sick and is unable to commute for casting a vote.

3) Such person is an disabled or elder, and is unable to commute for casting a vote.

4) Such person travels out of the Kingdom of Thailand and does not notify the intention to cast a vote outside the Kingdom of Thailand.

5) Such person has a domicile far away from election venue exceeding a 100 Kilometers.

6) Such person has a force majeur, or other incidents designated by election committees.

3. Right Restriction for Person who Miss-Casting a Vote 1) Such person shall be unable to file a petition to object the election.

2) Such person cannot be a candidate for the election of the members of the house of representatives, or members of provincial administrative organization council or senator.

3) Such person cannot be a candidate for the election of sub-district headman and village headman.

4) Such person shall be unable to hold the office of political government officer, and political congress government officer.

5) Such person shall be unable to hold the office of vice executive of provincial administrative organization, executive secretary of provincial administrative organization, assistant to executive secretary of provincial administrative organization, advisor president to provincial administrative organization executive, advisor to provincial administrative organization executive or advisor team to provincial administrative organization executive.

Right restriction shall have two year term.

4. Name Addition and Withdrawal 1) In case person who has a right to cast a vote or householder finding that he/she, or a person who has a name in the house registration having no name in the election list, such person reserves the right to file a petition to the election committee in the certain election district for putting his/her name to the election list no less than 10 days.

2) In case a name of unidentified person appearing in the house registration, householder reserves the right to file a petition to withdraw such name from the election list no less than 10 days.

5. Prohibition for Transferring Person to the House Registration 1) Transfer 5 or more persons to the house registration, and those persons do not have the same family name with the householder for the purpose to cast the votes except government agency, educational institute or establishment.

2) Transfer such person to the house registration, but such person does not actually reside in the house.

3) Transfer such person to the house registration without granting permission from the householder.

ในส่วนของซอฟต์แวร์ส�าเร็จรูปนั้น ผู้ใช้งานอาจจะไม่ต้อง เสียเวลาไปกับขั้นตอนการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์เอง เพราะสามารถ ซื้อมาใช้งานได้เลยทันที ขอเพียงผู้ใช้งานมีความรู้ความสามารถ ในการใช้งานซอฟต์แวร์นั้น ๆ แต่บ่อยครั้งที่มักจะพบว่าตัว ซอฟต์แวร์มีฟังก์ชั่นการใช้งานไม่ค่อยจะตรงกับความต้องการ เท่าใดนัก ท�าให้ในปัจจุบันซอฟต์แวร์ที่พัฒนาขึ้นมาเองก�าลัง ได้รับความนิยมอย่างมาก เนื่องจากซอฟต์แวร์ยุคใหม่นี้มีช่วง อายุ (Software Life Cycle) ที่ค่อนข้างสั้น การเปลี่ยนผ่าน เป็นไปอย่างรวดเร็ว จากซอฟต์แวร์ทเี่ คยทันสมัยเมือ่ ปีสองปีกอ่ น ก็อาจจะตกยุคในปีต่อ ๆ มา โดยเฉพาะซอฟต์แวร์ที่ใช้งานใน ลักษณะของ Web Application และ Mobile Application ซึ่งเป็นซอฟต์แวร์ที่ต้องสื่อสารข้อมูลผ่านเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต ส�าหรับซอฟต์แวร์ที่พัฒนาขึ้นมาเอง หากองค์กรไม่มีบุคลากรที่ ท�าหน้าที่เขียนโปรแกรม (Programmer) ก็จ�าเป็นจะต้องว่าจ้าง บริษัทหรือทีมงานมืออาชีพด้านการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์จาก ภายนอกเข้ามาช่วยเขียนโปรแกรมให้ ซึง่ ซอฟต์แวร์ทพี่ ฒ ั นาขึน้ นัน้ ก็มักจะให้ผลลัพธ์ตรงตามวัตถุประสงค์ ตามที่ผู้ว่าจ้างหรือ องค์กรก�าหนดไว้ แน่นอนว่าในช่วงของการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์นั้น ผู้ว่าจ้างจ�าเป็น จะต้องลงไปคลุกคลีกับทีมงานผู้พัฒนาในหลาย ๆ ขั้นตอน ทั้งนี้โครงการจะใช้เวลามากหรือน้อยเท่าใดนั้นนอกจากจะ ขึ้นอยู่กับรายละเอียดความต้องการ (Software Requirements) ของผู้ว่าจ้างแล้ว สิ่งที่ส�าคัญยิ่งกว่าก็คือรูปแบบในการท�างาน ของทีมงานผู้พัฒนาว่าเป็นแบบใด ซึ่งแต่เดิมทีมงานผู้พัฒนา ซอฟต์แวร์จะใช้วิธีการท�างานแบบ Waterfall ซึ่งเป็นกระบวน การท�างานแบบการล�าดับเป็นขั้นเป็นตอน โดยผู้ที่ควบคุมดูแล โครงการ คือ หัวหน้าทีมพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ ล�าดับขั้นต่อมา

จะเป็นทีมงานแยกฝ่าย เพื่อปฏิบัติงานกันอย่างชัดเจน ในแต่ละฝ่ายก็จะมีผู้ปฏิบัติที่ท�าหน้าที่แยกจากกันตามเนื้องานที่ ได้รับมอบหมาย ซึ่งจะเห็นได้ว่ามีลักษณะการท�างานเป็นแบบ Top-Down ที่จ�าเป็นจะต้องมีหัวหน้าเป็นผู้สั่งการหรือชี้ขาด แต่เพียงผู้เดียว ทั้งนี้ กระบวนการท�างานจะเริ่มต้นจากการ วางแผน ก�าหนดเป้าหมาย กระจายเนื้องานไปตามฝ่ายหรือ แผนกให้ลงมือปฏิบัติจนกว่าจะได้ผลลัพธ์ตามที่ผู้ว่าจ้างก�าหนด ไว้ ท�าให้การพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ด้วยวิธีการท�างานแบบ Waterfall ประสบปัญหาหลายประการด้วยกัน เช่น - ในกรณีที่หัวหน้าผู้มีอ�านาจชี้ขาดในโครงการไม่สะดวกที่จะ เข้าประชุมเพื่อตัดสินใจได้ โครงการอาจหยุดชะงักหรือล่าช้า ท�าให้การพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ไม่เสร็จตามที่ผู้ว่าจ้างก�าหนดไว้ - เมื่อก�าหนดเป้าหมายโครงการไว้แล้วจะไม่สามารถยืดหยุ่นได้ เนื่องจากมีการจัดสรรงบประมาณไว้ตายตัว แม้จะตรวจพบว่า ซอฟต์แวร์ที่ก�าลังพัฒนาตามความต้องการเดิมของผู้ว่าจ้างจะมี ประสิทธิผลที่ไม่ดีนักก็ตาม - การจะน�าซอฟต์แวร์ไปใช้งาน (Imprement) จะต้องรอให้ พัฒนาจนเสร็จสมบรูณ์ในขั้นตอนสุดท้ายเท่านั้น ท�าให้ผู้พัฒนา ท�าการแก้ไขได้ยากเมื่อตรวจพบปัญหาซอฟต์แวร์หรือบัก (Bug) ที่แย่กว่า คือ ต้องรื้อโค้ดเก่าแล้วเขียนโปรแกรมใหม่ ซึ่งจะ เสียเวลามาก อาจท�าให้ผู้ว่าจ้างได้รับความเสียหายได้ - การด�าเนินการใด ๆ ต้องยึดเนื้อหาในเอกสารเป็นหลัก ไม่สามารถแก้ไขรายละเอียดที่ตกลงกันไว้ได้ ท�าให้เกิด Agile ซึ่งเป็นแนวคิดในการท�างานแบบใหม่ของ ผู้พัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ ที่ผู้ประกอบการจ�าเป็นจะต้องเข้าใจและ ในบางครั้งอาจจะต้องเข้าไปมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาด้วย ซึ่งจุดเด่นของ Agile มีดังต่อไปนี้ - มีลักษณะของการท�างานเป็นทีมที่ชัดเจน ทีมงานมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ ระหว่างบุคคลมากกว่าการท�างานแบบ Warterfall เมื่อมีไอเดีย ใหม่ ๆ ก็จะเสนอทีมงานให้ทราบทันที ในกรณีเดียวกัน หาก ตรวจพบปัญหาระหว่างด�าเนินการก็จะช่วยกันแก้ปัญหานั้น ๆ อย่างรวดเร็วโดยไม่ต้องรอค�าสั่งจากหัวหน้าทีม - การท�างานแบบ Agile จะเน้นที่ผลลัพธ์หรือคุณค่าของงาน มากกว่าเอกสาร หากพบว่ามีทางเลือกของผลลัพธ์ของ ซอฟต์แวร์ที่ดีกว่า ทีมงานก็จะลงมือท�าทันที

- การพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ตามแนวคิดการท�างานแบบ Agile จะ แบ่งงานเป็นส่วนย่อย ๆ ที่เรียกว่า Sprint เมื่อด�าเนินการเสร็จ ในแต่ละ Sprint ก็จะส่งให้ผู้ว่าจ้างทดลองใช้งานก่อน ซึ่งจะ มีข้อดี คือ ท�าให้สามารถตรวจพบปัญหาได้เร็วและแก้ไขได้ ทันท่วงทีก่อนที่จะกลายเป็นปัญหาใหญ่ในซอฟต์แวร์เวอร์ชั่น สมบูรณ์ (Production) - Agile ให้ความส�าคัญกับคุณภาพของซอฟต์แวร์ที่พัฒนา มากกว่าการค�าถึงถึงข้อมูลในเอกสารก�ากับจากทางผู้ว่าจ้าง อย่างไรก็ตาม แม้การพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ตามแนวคิด Agile จะมีรูปแบบการท�างานที่ทันสมัยเข้ากับยุคปัจจุบัน อีกทั้ง ผู้ประกอบการยังสามารถเห็นความคืบหน้าของโครงการอยู่ เป็นระยะ และมักจะได้ผลลัพธ์ที่น่าพอใจ แต่การพัฒนา ซอฟต์แวร์ตามแนวคิด Agile ก็ยังไม่สามารถน�าไปใช้กับองค์กร ที่มีพนักงานจ�านวนมากที่องค์กรมีการจัดล�าดับชั้นแบบปิรามิด ได้ เนื่องจากรูปแบบขององค์กรนั้น ๆ จะแบ่งทีมงานแยกฝ่าย ท�างานกันอย่างชัดเจนและจ�าเป็นต้องมีหัวหน้าสั่งการและชี้ขาด แต่เพียงผู้เดียว จึงท�าให้การน�าแนวคิด Agile มาปรับใช้ได้ยาก ดังนั้น การจะเลือกใช้ทีมงานพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ที่ใช้แนวคิดการ ท�างานในแบบ Warterfall หรือแบบ Agile นัน้ ท่านผูป้ ระกอบการ จะต้องวิเคราะห์ให้ได้ว่าองค์กรของเรามีวัฒนธรรมเป็นแบบใด การพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์เพือ่ ใช้งานเองก็จะส�าเร็จลุลว่ งไปได้ไม่ยากนัก

hrough the past decade, every field of technologies has made a transition toward far more advance technology in very fast pace. Some technology has been developing with a leap growth especially in computer technology and data communication, which these two fields of technologies have been mainly propelling by hardware and software. This is so common for some groups of users to think that they cannot use all features of the latest technology yet, then even newer technology comes out to replace its predecessor so soon.

In addition to the hardware side, most users can see the obvious change since it normally has some physical changes that are noticeable and tangible by users, while some devices are given some specifications indication that allows users to obviously compare them with earlier version of hardware. In addition to change in software side, it is quite similar as normally users will know that the latest version of software features some new functions with the aim to mainly enhance work performance, for example adding working functions to better match up with the type of works, or called User Experience: UX, changing the appearance of software for more pleasant use, or called User Interface: UX, or adding better working security and stability, or called Security and Stability, etc.

Additionally, users may find that upgrading software from the older version to a new one shall indicate a new version number of the certain software on its interface.

As the matter of fact, the cycle of software is required periodically upgrade, which the starting point is always initiated when users find the fault, also called ‘Software Bug’ during the operation, and report them to software developer for acknowledgement and revision, then this eventually becomes the main task of software developers to periodically upgrade their software to offer good and most cutting edge software to all users.

Currently, many organizations prefer 2 types of software as Package Software and InternallyDeveloped Software.

For internally developed software, if organization does not have its own programmer, it is necessary to hire an outsource programming company or professional team to develop and program the custom software, which basically such developed software shall directly serve the objectives designated by employer or organization.

Inevitably, during software development, it requires employer to get in touch with software developer team in several stages. However, how long for the project to take shall depend on Software Requirements of employer, and more importantly the working procedure of developer team. Earlier software developer team usually proceeded with the Waterfall procedure; an algorithm format of working procedure as the project manager; the head of software developers shall provide the overall procedure, then the working team shall distinctly split the procedure into several units, and each unit shall have its own developers who shall be in charge of distinctive tasks based on its own assignment. This working format is called the TopDown style that is required to have only one head to make decision and assign the tasks. Additionally, working procedure shall begin with plan making, goal designating and disseminating the tasks to the working unit or division to do the works until achieving the result following the requirements

of employer. Therefore, this cause software development with the Waterfall working procedure to encounter several problems as follows: - In case the head who is authorized to determine the project being unable to attend the meeting for decision making, the project might be stopped short or delay, and cause software development being unable to completed following the deadline of employer.

- After determining the project goal, it is definite since the budget has already been fixed even though later it is found that software being currently developed based on the earlier requirements of employer may have poor effectiveness.

- Software implementation must be waiting until the development is completed in the final stage only.

This causes difficulty for developer to detect the software bug, or in worst case scenario, developer may have to dismantle all the source codes, and reprograming the software once again, which this shall waste so much time and may cause the damage to employer.

- Any operation must mainly stick to the contents in document and they cannot be revised any detail that has been agreed upon earlier.

Therefore, all these problems initiated an Agile concept; a new working procedure of software developer that entrepreneur needs to understand and perhaps take some part in software development as well. The advantages of Agile concept are included as follows: - This concept provides distinctive teamwork, which the working team shall have better peer to peer interaction than the Waterfall working procedure, and when a new idea is initiated, it can immediately be pitched to the working team. In the same case, if the problem is detected during the operation, the working team can quickly tackle such problem without waiting for the order from the head.

- Agile working procedure shall emphasize on the result or value of work rather than the document.

If it is found that there is a choice to give better software result, working team shall immediately take action.

- Software development with Agile working concept shall divide the tasks into several segments, called Sprint. When each Sprint is completed, it shall be submitted to the employer for a trial. The advantage is that software can be quickly detected the bug, and immediately revise it before turning into a bigger problem in a full version software (Production).

- Agile pays attention to the quality of developed software rather than taking into account the content in the designated document of employer.

Even though software development with Agile concept shall have the modern working format to match up with the present age, while entrepreneur is able to periodically see the progress of the project, and always gets the pleasing results, Agile concept cannot be used with organization that has a large number of employees and Pyramid hierarchy since this format of such organization shall distinctly divide employee into division, which requires to have only one head to assign the tasks and make decision so this makes difficult to apply Agile concept to this type of organization. Therefore, choosing between Waterfall or Agile based software developer team is the matter for entrepreneur to analyze the tradition of their own organizations so that internally developed software shall easily and effectively be accomplished.

e are now in the age when most tourists are paying attention to the word ‘Experience’ rather than packing up for an ordinary journey both in the respect of experiencing some new things and witnessing some unseen attractions that shall help creating good memorable moments to our lives and making us feel good every time when we think of those moments rather than having just a common curiosity. Besides sensing through the eyes, the other area where most tourists pay similar attention is the savory food tasting.

These are quite common when tourism promotion agencies of several countries making a great effort to promote their own foods as the selling points in the hope to attract the worldwide tourists to taste the food delicacies with the local approach style in the following of the world trend ‘Local Experience’. This makes many tourists planning their journey before taking the airplane to their dreaming destinations for where they are going to dine in and what food dishes they are going to choose after serial searching information and reading reviews over the online world.

Some obvious example here is a street food as Thailand has a corner in term of taste diversity and inexpensive price, which this tends to please the

group of new generation tourists who tends to stick to hotel dining in lesser number. This trend seems to give some impacts to hotel restaurants when the number of restaurants is limited for a new hotel investment.

Additionally, some hotels have only one restaurant left that is set as the center of all meals including All Day Dining, Buffet or A La Carte set for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some hotels provide the counter to serve frozen food, beverage, and snacks for those customers who just want some easy meal or do not want to dine in the restaurant or food shop outside the hotel to fill their stomachs.

One of the interesting alternative to solve the proposition of the customers who rarely dine in the hotel restaurant rather than setting up the standard buffet set in reasonable price, or selectively promoting the diversity of Japanese cuisine and seafood to attract Thai customers as the supplement is to create some new dishes that can approach to the locality even closer with the differentiation strategy by choosing ‘Local Ingredients’ as the key ingredients that may come from the northern, central, north eastern, eastern or western region as well as promote these local ingredients as the ‘Key Element’ of the dish in order to offer the dining experience through an interesting presentation that is easy to understand as well as create the perfect and wonderful taste that shall definitely impress all tourists especially for foreigner ones.

With all these simple efforts, it can easily open up the sense of taste as well as introduce a new world to the eaters. Eventually, this should be another solution to dissolve the emptiness, and add up more traffic of the customers to dine in the hotel restaurants.

Hobart opened its doors on July 20, 1897 in USA, with the idea that electric motors could improve the efficiency and consistency of hand-powered kitchen equipment, like coffee mills and meat grinders, by introducing power to food production. In short order, we expanded into the manufacturing of mixers, where Hobart quality and performance has set the standard ever since.

From the mid-1920s through the 1940s, Hobart continued to expand its product offerings with the production of commercial dishwashers, electric slicers, larger and more durable mixers, choppers, meat saws and food scales. Hobart even participated in the war effort, manufacturing high precision instruments and ordinance items for the U.S. military to use during World War II.

with mechanic George Butters in Josephine’s tool shed in Shelbyville, Illinois when Cochrane (a wealthy socialite) wanted to protect her china while it was being washed. Until her invention was unveiled at the 1893 World’s Fair in Chicago.

After Cochrane’s death in 1913, her company was purchased by The Hobart Manufacturing Company, now famous for its industrial dishwashing machines.

Hobart introduced home dishwashers in 1949 under the KitchenAid brand, which is now owned by Whirlpool – finally bringing to women in homes the invention that Josephine Cochrane had intended for them.
