It has reached to the middle of the year 2018, in the blink of an eye. Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) had just launched a big campaign ‘Amazing Thailand 2018’ (Thai Tae). We on behalf of the group of hotel entrepreneurs always keep up with the government policy to emphasize on the promotion of Thai ways tourism and try to adjust the way of thinking in marketing because the charm of tourism is all about the identity that shall be the differentiate point to attract the tourists.

For instance, the recent ‘Aor Chao’ trend could help provoking energetic tourism in the world’s heritage city of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province once again. คุณกลินท์ สารสิน ประธานกรรมการการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย เปิดเผยว่า การท่องเที่ยว แห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) เปิดตัวแคมเปญ ‘Amazing ไทยเท่’ ตามนโยบายส่งเสริมการ ท่องเที่ยวส�าหรับตลาดในประเทศ ปี 2561 เพื่อน�าเสนอภาพลักษณ์วิถีไทย ‘เท่’ ในมิติที่ร่วมสมัย ให้เกิดการรับรูแ้ ละสร้างมุมมองใหม่ตอ่ การเดินทางท่องเทีย่ วภายในประเทศ ส่งเสริมการท่องเทีย่ ว วิถีชุมชนและเชื่อมโยงการท่องเที่ยวในพื้นที่เมืองรอง อันจะก่อให้เกิดความรักและความภูมิใจ ในความเป็นไทยน�าไปสู่การท่องเที่ยวแบบยั่งยืน โดยได้ก�าหนดเป้าหมายการท่องเที่ยว ปี 2561 มีรายได้การท่องเที่ยวรวมกว่า 3 ล้านล้านบาท แบ่งเป็นตลาดต่างประเทศ 2 ล้านล้านบาท และตลาดในประเทศ 1 ล้านล้านบาท คุณยุทธศักดิ์ สุภสร ผู้ว่าการ ททท. กล่าวว่า แคมเปญ ‘Amazing ไทยเท่’ จะเป็นการสื่อสาร การตลาดภายใต้แนวคิด ‘เมืองไทย สวยทุกที่ เท่ทกุ เวลา’ น�าเสนอภาพความมหัศจรรย์ของเมือง ไทยให้เกิดการรับรู้ การสัมผัสและการเรียนรู้มากขึ้น จนสามารถสร้างปรากฏการณ์นักเดินทาง ท่องเทีย่ วในเมืองไทยแบบ ‘เท่ ๆ’ และมีคณ ุ ภาพ โดยแคมเปญ ‘Amazing ไทยเท่’ จะด�าเนินการ ภายใต้แผนงานที่วางไว้ (Road Map) ระยะเวลา 3 ปี ตั้งแต่ปี 2560-2562 ทั้งนี้ ในปี 2560 ประสบความส�าเร็จในการสร้างปรากฏการณ์ เที่ยวเมืองไทย = เท่ ส่วนในปี 2561 ททท. จะมุ่ง ส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวแบบลึกซึ้ง เพื่อตอบโจทย์พฤติกรรมของผู้บริโภคในยุคปัจจุบัน และในปี 2562 จะด�าเนินการสือ่ สารเพือ่ สร้างทัศนคติทดี่ เี กีย่ วกับเรือ่ งของการเดินทางท่องเทีย่ วในประเทศ ที่นอกจากจะได้เดินทางท่องเที่ยวแล้ว ยังจะได้รับคุณค่าในเรื่องของการ ‘ให้’ หรือ ‘ท�า’ อะไร ดี ๆ ให้กับเมืองไทย แผนการตลาดได้เลือก คุณอนันดา เอเวอร์รงิ่ แฮม เป็นพรีเซ็นเตอร์โครงการ ทีม่ คี วาม ‘เท่’ มาท�า หน้าทีเ่ พือ่ เป็นตัวแทนในการสือ่ สารแนวคิดของแคมเปญฯ มาช่วยสร้างแรงบันดาลในการเดินทาง ท่องเที่ยวให้เห็นภาพของแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่สวยงามชัดเจนยิ่งขึ้น ผ่านกลยุทธ์ Music Marketing มาใช้ในการสื่อสารครั้งนี้ โดยน�าเสนอผ่าน "Music Story" ให้ดนตรีเล่าความเท่ของแหล่ง ท่องเทีย่ วในเมืองไทย ด้วยบทเพลง ‘ยามรัก’ ถ่ายทอดโดย คุณอภิวฒ ั น์ พงษ์วาท (หนึง่ วง ETC.)

ไทยแอร์เอเชีย เพิ่มเที่ยวบินภายในประเทศ Thai AirAsia is increasing the frequency of its domestic flights in response to continuous growth

คุณสันติสุข คล่องใช้ยา ผู้อ�านวยการฝ่าย การพาณิชย์ สายการบินไทยแอร์เอเชีย เปิ ด เผยว่ า สายการบิ น ไทยแอร์ เ อเชี ย พร้อมบุกตลาดในประเทศ เพิ่มความถี่ เที่ ย วบิ น ในเส้ น ทางกรุ ง เทพฯ-อุ ด รธานี จาก 5 เที่ยวบิน/วัน เป็น 6 เที่ยวบิน/ วัน และเส้นทางกรุงเทพฯ-พิษณุโลก จาก 2 เที่ยวบิน/วัน เป็น 3 เที่ยวบิน/วัน ซึ่ง การเพิ่มเที่ยวบินดังกล่าวจะสร้างความ สะดวกสบายในการเดินทางให้ผู้โดยสาร ที่ ส ามารถเลื อ กเวลาบิ น ได้ ต ามความ ต้องการ อีกทั้งยังเป็นการสร้างเครือข่าย การบินภายในประเทศที่เข้มแข็ง "แอร์เอเชียเพิ่มความถี่เที่ยวบินในหลากหลายเส้นทางบิน เพื่อรองรับความต้องการบินภายในประเทศ โดยเฉพาะในจังหวัดทีม่ ศี กั ยภาพในการเติบโตสูง และในปีนเี้ ราเน้นการขยายการเติบโตของตลาดในประเทศ สร้างเส้นทางบินให้ครอบคลุม และเพิ่มความถี่เที่ยวบินในเส้นทางต่าง ๆ ให้ผู้โดยสารเลือกเดินทางได้ตาม เวลาที่ต้องการ" คุณสันติสุข กล่าว

Mr. Kalin Sarasin, Chairman of Tourism Authority of Thailand Board of Directors (TAT) revealed that TAT opened ‘Amazing Thai Tay’ campaign following the tourism promotion policy for domestic market in 2018 to present the stylish Thai way image (Stylish means ‘Tay’ in Thai) in contemporary dimension to acknowledge and create new perspective toward domestic travel as well as promote local lifestyle tourism and connect tourism within secondary city areas so that this shall definitely initiate the binding love and pride in Thainess, and eventually lead to the sustainable tourism. TAT has set tourism goal 2018 to earn tourism revenue over 3 trillion baht, divided into 2 trillion baht for foreign market, and one trillion baht for domestic market.

Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT governor said that ‘Amazing Thai Tay’ campaign is a marketing communication under the concept ‘Thailand is always beautiful and stylish at all times’ to present the miracle of Thailand for wider acknowledgement, feeling and learning until initiating tourism phenomenon ‘stylish and quality tourism’. ‘Amazing Thai Tay’ shall be executed under the 3 years road map from 2017 – 2019, which in 2016, Thailand had accomplished phenomenon creation under ‘Thai Travel = Stylish’ concept, while in 2017, TAT shall aim to promote the deeper perspective tourism to response to the current behavior of consumers, and in 2019, TAT shall further communicate to create positive attitude related to domestic travel so that rather than the joyful travel, tourists shall gain the value of ‘Giving’ or ‘Doing’ something good to Thailand.

Mr. Santisuk Klongchaiya, Director of Commercial for Thai AirAsia, said Thai AirAsia is growing its domestic market presence by taking Bangkok-Udon Thani from five flights a day to six and Bangkok-Phitsanulok from two flights a day to three. The added flights are to bring even more convenience to travellers, providing them with more options for when to fly while further strengthening the airline's domestic network.

In addition to the marketing plan, TAT chose the stylish Ananda Everingham as the project presenter to represent the campaign concept and create travel inspiration for several wonderful tourist attractions through Music Marketing strategy. This strategy will let the music tell the stylish stories of tourist attractions in Thailand, under the song called ‘Love Hour’, sang by Mr. Apiwat Pongwat (Nueng – ETC Band).

"AirAsia has the capacity to increase frequency on many routes to accommodate domestic travel, especially to provinces with high growth potential. This year, we will be focusing on the domestic market, moving to expand our network and increase frequencies on a range of routes, so travellers can travel where and when they want," Mr. Santisuk said.

สมาคมโรงแรมไทย ร่วมกับ สหพันธ์แรงงานรัฐวิสาหกิจแห่งประเทศไทย ก�าหนด จัดงาน Hotels Meet State Enterprise Employees Union โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ เพือ่ จัดกิจกรรมด้านความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างโรงแรมและรัฐวิสาหกิจในประเทศไทย ในการพบปะเจรจาและแลกเปลีย่ นธุรกิจ (Table Top Session) เมือ่ วันพฤหัสบดีท่ี 15 มีนาคม 2561 ณ โรงแรมเซ็นทาราแกรนด์ เซ็นทรัลพลาซา ลาดพร้าว ทีผ่ า่ นมา โดยมีคุณปรีดา รามสูต ประธานสหพันธ์แรงงานรัฐวิสาหกิจในประเทศไทย ให้เกียรติกล่าวเปิดงานในครั้งนี้ Thai Hotels Association (THA) in-associated with State Enterprise Worker’s Federation of Thailand scheduled the arrangement of Hotels Meet State Enterprise Employee Union. The objective of this event is to arrange relationship activity between hotels and state enterprises in Thailand and give opportunity for them to meet and setup Table Top Session, held on Thursday 15 March 2018 at Centara Grand Central Lad Prao as Mr. Preeda Rammasut, President of State Enterprise Worker’s Federation of Thailand presiding over the event to give speech and open the event.

‘Jack Ma’ Visit Thailand What Thai Tourism Industry Shall Earn? เชื่อเหลือเกินว่าเมื่อเดือนเมษายน 2561 ที่ผ่านมา ไม่มีข่าว เศรษฐกิจไหนฮอตไปกว่าการมาเยือนไทยของ ‘แจ๊คหม่า’ เจ้าพ่ออีคอมเมิร์ซแห่งแดนมังกรนาม ‘อาลีบาบากรุ๊ป’ เพื่อ เข้าพบ ‘พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา’ นายกรัฐมนตรีไทยอีกแล้ว การมาเยือนไทยครั้งนี้ไม่ได้มามือเปล่า เพราะได้ประกาศเป็น พันธมิตรกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐของไทยในระยะยาว ผ่านการ ลงนามในบันทึกข้อตกลง (MOU) กับรัฐบาลไทยเกี่ยวกับความ ร่วมมือด้านการค้าการลงทุน และการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล หลังมีเป้าหมายร่วมกันในการพัฒนาศักยภาพของผูป้ ระกอบการ ไทย และผลักดันให้สามารถเข้าถึงตลาดใหม่ ๆ ในเวทีโลกผ่าน นวัตกรรมด้านดิจิทัลต่าง ๆ ได้ ก่อนจะกล่าวถึงความร่วมมือด้านการท่องเที่ยวระหว่างไทยกับ อาลีบาบากรุ๊ป ขอพื้นที่ส�าหรับกล่าวถึงภาพรวมของโครงการ ต่าง ๆ ภายใต้ความร่วมมือกับรัฐบาลไทยครั้งใหญ่นี้สักหน่อย เพราะไฮไลท์อย่างการลงทุนสร้าง ‘ดิจิทัล ฮับ’ (Smart Digital

Hub) ในพื้นที่เขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (EEC) นับเป็น เรื่องน่าสนใจมาก หลังอาลีบาบากรุ๊ปได้ท�าการศึกษาข้อมูลเปรียบเทียบในระดับ ภูมิภาคและตัดสินใจที่จะลงทุนที่ประเทศไทย เนื่องจากเชื่อมั่น ในนโยบายประเทศไทย 4.0 โดยคาดว่าจะสามารถเริ่มการ ก่อสร้าง Smart Digital Hub ได้ภายในปี 2561 และเริ่มเปิด ด�าเนินการได้ในปี 2562 วัตถุประสงค์ของการสร้างดิจิทัลฮับในไทยครั้งนี้ คือ การช่วย เชื่อมโยงธุรกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม (SMEs) ของไทย ในทุกระดับทุกท้องถิ่นรวมถึงกลุ่มเกษตรกรทั่วประเทศและ กลุ่มผู้ผลิตสินค้าหนึ่งต�าบลหนึ่งผลิตภัณฑ์ (OTOP) ให้สามารถ เข้าถึงตลาดจีนและตลาดโลก โดยอาศัยเทคโนโลยีระดับโลกของอาลีบาบากรุ๊ปในการประมวล ข้อมูลด้านโลจิสติกส์ ผ่านธุรกิจโลจิสติกส์ในเครือชื่อ ‘ไช่เหนี่ยว THAI HOTELS & TRAVEL

(Cainiao Network)’ เพื่อท�าให้การขนส่งสินค้าระหว่างไทยกับ จีน การขนส่งสินค้าผ่านพรมแดนสู่ประเทศเพื่อนบ้านกลุ่ม CLMV (กัมพูชา ลาว เมียนมา และเวียดนาม) รวมถึงไปยัง ที่อื่น ๆ ในโลกมีประสิทธิภาพและรวดเร็วมากที่สุด การตั้งศูนย์ Smart Digital Hub จะเป็นศูนย์กลางในการด�าเนิน กิจกรรมวิจัยพัฒนาดิจิทัล ผ่านการเชื่อมประสานกับเขต นวัตกรรมดิจิทัล (ดิจิทัลพาร์ค: EECd) และเขตนวัตกรรม ระเบียงเศรษฐกิจภาคตะวันออก (EECi) ด้วย ขณะที่โครงการอื่น ๆ ภายใต้ความร่วมมือนี้ ทางอาลีบาบาและ กระทรวงพาณิชย์ได้ร่วมกันเปิดตัว Thai Rice Flagship Store บนเว็บไซต์ Tmall.com ซึ่งเป็นเว็บไซต์ซื้อขายออนไลน์ระดับ โลกที่เน้นร้านค้าแบรนด์ชั้นน�าและร้านค้าตัวแทนที่มีความ น่าเชื่อถือ หวังช่วยผลักดันยอดขายผลิตผลทางการเกษตร ของไทย เริ่มต้นจาก ‘ข้าว’ และผลไม้ต่าง ๆ ของไทย โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิง่ ‘ทุเรียน’ ซึง่ เป็นทีน่ ยิ มในหมูช่ าวจีนอย่างมาก

โดยอาลีบาบากรุ๊ปยังได้ลงนามในข้อตกลงเป็นตัวแทนจ�าหน่าย ‘ทุเรียนหมอนทอง’ กับรัฐบาลไทยมูลค่ากว่า 428 ล้านเหรียญ สหรัฐหรือมากกว่า 13,400 ล้านบาทผ่านทางเว็บไซต์ทีมอลล์ (Tmall) และก่อนที่ ‘แจ๊คหม่า’ จะลงนามในเอ็มโอยูกับรัฐบาลไทย 1 วัน อาลีบาบาได้ขายทุเรียนหมอนทองมากกว่า 80,000 ลูกทาง เว็บไซต์ได้ในเวลาเพียง 1 นาทีเท่านั้น นับเป็นข่าวที่สร้างทั้งปรากฏการณ์และความประหลาดใจให้กับ คนไทยอย่างมาก! เป็นการพีอาร์โปรแกรมการมาเยือนไทยของ ‘แจ๊คหม่า’ และ ท�าให้คนไทยสนใจในตัวเจ้าพ่อยักษ์อีคอมเมิร์ซชาวจีนคนนี้ ได้อย่างแยบคาย นอกจากนี้ ทางอาลีบาบากรุ๊ปยังได้เสนอให้สถาบันพัฒนา บุคลากรในเครืออย่าง ‘วิทยาลัยธุรกิจอาลีบาบา’ (Alibaba Business School: ABS) ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ที่เมืองหางโจวร่วมมือกับกรม ส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรม กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม และกรมส่งเสริม การค้าระหว่างประเทศ กระทรวงพาณิชย์ ในการพัฒนาขีด ความสามารถด้านดิจิทัลและอีคอมเมิร์ซของ SMEs ไทยทุกกลุ่ม เพื่อให้เข้าถึงตลาดจีนและตลาดอื่น ๆ ในระดับภูมิภาคกับ ระดับสากล จุดนี้ถือเป็นจุดที่ผู้ประกอบการโรงแรมและที่พักต้องจับตาและ ติดตามข่าวสารไว้ให้ดี เพื่อเรียนรู้และพัฒนาความสามารถด้าน ดิจิทัลน�าไปปรับใช้กับธุรกิจของคุณเอง ในยุคที่โลกท่องเที่ยว มุ่งสู่การติดต่อซื้อขายห้องพักผ่านช่องทางออนไลน์จนแทบจะ เต็มตัวแล้ว! ด้านโครงการอบรมพัฒนาดาวเด่นด้านดิจิทัล (Digital Talent) โดย Alibaba Business School จะร่วมมือกับกรมส่งเสริม อุตสาหกรรม และกรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ

มุ่งพัฒนา ‘ดาวเด่นดิจิทัล’ ในไทยเนื้อหาครอบคลุมหลาย หลักสูตร โดยจะเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษา นักวิจัย อาจารย์ รวมถึงเจ้าหน้าที่ภาครัฐร่วมเข้ารับการฝึกอบรมพัฒนาในด้าน ดิจิทัลและอีคอมเมิร์ซให้เข้าใจอย่างลึกซึ้ง พร้อมสร้างเครือข่าย กับดาวเด่นทั่วโลกที่ประเทศจีน ขณะที่ความร่วมมือเกี่ยวกับ ‘อุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยว’ ก็ไม่ยอม น้อยหน้า การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) ได้ลงนามร่วมมือกับ อาลีบาบากรุ๊ปและฟลิกกี้ (Fliggy) บริษัทด้านการท่องเที่ยว ออนไลน์ชั้นน�าของจีน เพื่อมุ่งส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวดิจิทัลและ ผู้ประกอบการท่องเที่ยวรายย่อยในไทย โดย Fliggy จะใช้ประสบการณ์ด้านเทคโนโลยีช่วยจัดท�า Thailand Tourism Platform ให้กับสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวทั่วไทย เช่น ระบบการจ�าหน่ายตั๋วอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ คู่มือมัคคุเทศก์ ออนไลน์ เพื่อช่วยประชาสัมพันธ์และอ�านวยความสะดวก ในด้านการท่องเที่ยวต่าง ๆ นอกจากนี้ Fliggy กับ Ant Financial ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทเจ้าของ ระบบช�าระเงิน Alipay ในอาลีบาบากรุ๊ปอยู่ระหว่างการเจรจา กับหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลง ทางด้านดิจิทัลแบบครบวงจรต่ออุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวของ ประเทศไทย อย่างไรก็ตาม การจับมือกันระหว่างททท. กับ Fliggy ไม่ถือว่า เป็นเรื่องใหม่นัก เพราะเคยด�าเนินแผนความร่วมมือกันเมื่อ 2 ปี ที่แล้ว สมัย Fliggy ยังใช้ชื่อว่า ‘อาลีทริป’ (Alitrip) เพื่อร่วมกัน สกรีนและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลบริษัทน�าเที่ยวต่าง ๆ ให้เกิดภาพ การเดินทางท่องเที่ยวแบบมีคุณภาพ พอ ‘แจ๊คหม่า’ มาเยือนไทยททท.ก็จะท�างานร่วมกับทีมของ Fliggy เพื่อ ‘เจียระไน’ แหล่งท่องเที่ยวในเมืองรองร่วมกัน หวัง

ดึงนักท่องเที่ยวจีน ซึ่งในปีนี้คาดว่าจะมาท่องเที่ยวไทยมากกว่า 11 ล้านคน ให้กระจายการเดินทางจากเมืองท่องเที่ยวหลัก เช่น กรุงเทพฯ ภูเก็ต กระบี่ และเชียงใหม่ ไปยังแหล่งท่องเที่ยวใน เมืองรองมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยจะใช้ฐานข้อมูลโซเชียลเครดิตที่มีคุณภาพของอาลีบาบา เพื่อโปรโมทดึงชาวจีนกลุ่มใช้จ่ายสูงให้มาท่องเที่ยวและใช้จ่ายที่ เมืองไทย ประกอบกับขณะนี้ชาวจีนแทบจะไม่พกเงินสดแล้ว เพราะหันมาใช้จ่ายผ่าน E-Wallet โดย Alipay เป็นหนึ่งในผู้ให้ บริการรายใหญ่ของจีน ซึ่งทางททท.ก็จะขอข้อมูลเพื่อศึกษาว่า ชาวจีนนิยมไปท่องเที่ยวที่ไหน และใช้จ่ายอะไรบ้าง และน�า ข้อมูลที่ได้มาประกอบการท�าตลาดต่อไป คงต้องจับตาดูกันต่อไปว่า ความร่วมมือระหว่างรัฐบาลไทยกับ อาลีบาบากรุ๊ปในครั้งนี้ จะสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลงในทิศทาง ที่ดีขึ้นให้กับเศรษฐกิจไทยในภาพรวม รวมถึงอุตสาหกรรม ท่องเที่ยวอย่างไร ผู้ประกอบการโรงแรมและท่องเที่ยวเห็นแล้วจงฉกฉวยโอกาสนี้ ไว้ อย่าปล่อยให้เสียของไปเป็นอันขาด!

n April 2018, no economic news should definitely be the hottest issue rather than the visit of ‘Jack Ma’; the E-commerce Lord of the Land of Dragon named ‘Alibaba Group’ to meet ‘Gen. Prayuth Chan-O-cha, Thailand’s Prime Minister.

His visit to Thailand this time did not come for nothing because he had announced to become the partner with governmental agencies of Thailand in the long run through the MOU signing with Thai

government in investment, trading and digital economic propulsion after they had joining goal in capability development of Thai entrepreneurs, and push forward them to reach to new markets in the world stage through digital innovations.

Before discussing on the collaboration in Tourism between Thailand and Alibaba Group, the writer would like to mention about the overall projects under this collaboration with Thai government because the major highlight as the investment on the construction of Smart Digital Hub in Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) is considered as the most interesting topic after Alibaba Group had studied all related information in regional level, and decided to make investment in Thailand because they had confidence in Thailand 4.0 policy. In addition, Smart Digital Hub is expected to start its construction within 2018, and the project can start full operation within 2019.

The objective of Digital Hub construction in Thailand this time is to help linking Thailand’s SMEs business in every level and every local as well as the group of agriculturists across the country, and the group of OTOP producers so that they can reach to China and the world markets by using the world class technology of Alibaba Group in Logistics data processing through its logistic business network, called Cainiao Network in order to enhance good transporting efficiency and speed between Thailand and China as well as the cross-border good transportation to the group of CLMV countries (Cambodia, Lao, Myanmar and Vietnam), and other areas in the world.

Smart Digital Hub shall execute digital research and development activities through the connection with Eastern Economic Corridor Digital (EECd), and Eastern Economic Corridor Innovation (EECi).

In addition to other projects under this collaboration, Alibaba and Ministry of Commerce had jointly introduced Thai Rice Flagship Store over Tmall.com, which is the world class online trading website specialized for the world’s leading brands, and reliable representative stores. This effort shall help pushing forward the circulation of Thai agricultural products starting with ‘Rice’ and fruits especially ‘Durian’, which is so popular among Chinese.

Alibaba Group had signed MOU with Thai government to become the distributor of ‘Durian Monthong’ through Tmall website, which this MOU is worth over $428 million US dollar, or over 13,400 million baht.

And a day before ‘Jack Ma’ signing MOU with Thai Government, Alibaba had already sold over 80,000 DuriansMonthong through its website within only one minute.

This was quite phenomenal and surprising news for Thai people!

It definitely was a keen PR program to visit Thailand of ‘Jack Ma’, and made Thai people paying serious attention to this Chinese E-commerce Lord.

Besides, Alibaba Group had offered the collaboration among Alibaba Business School (ABS); located in Hangzhou and Department of Industry Promotion, Ministry of Industry, and Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce for digital capability and E-commerce

development of every group of SMEs so that they can reach to China market, and other regional and international markets.

hailand’s TV drama ‘Buppaesannivas’ (means Love Destiny in English); the most famous retro drama broadcasted over Channel 3 had just ended in late April 2018. In spite causing ‘admirable phenomenon’ to society, ‘Buppaesannivas’ has passed on some powerful surges to Thai Tourism Industry both in domestic market (Thai tourists travel in Thailand) and international market (Foreign tourists travel to Thailand).

This can also be a significant tool to convince Thai people to learn and pay attention to the background of the nation and eventually cause the powerful love binding in Thailand’s precious arts and culture.

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has taken advantage of this famous Thai drama by having the leading role actress; named ‘Mae Ying Garagade’, acted by the adorable actress ‘Bella- Ranee Campen as the powerful magnet to promote tourism through the campaign to convince Thai people to wear Thai costumes, while traveling in the secondary cities, which is the major policy of the government to disseminate tourist spending down to the secondary cities even more rather than being overcrowded only in the major tourist cities like earlier days.

TAT hopes to push forward Thai economy’s growth in overall with this campaign, which besides the tourism, Thai drama ‘Buppaesannivas has provoked Thai people’s interests toward ‘Thai cuisine’ both for meat and sweet recipes in the previous and present times.

This includes ‘Grilled Giant River Prawn served with spicy seafood sauce that made the audiences drooling in the scene when Khun Ying Jampa was insanely ripping off the prawn shells, and eating all of them, or ‘Mango with Sweet Fish Sauce’ recipe in

One of them was the suggestion from Public-Private Collaboration Working Group in Tourism and MICE (D3) as Mr. Chanin Donavanik, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Dusit

International on behalf of the head of private sector team of Public-Private Collaboration Working Group (D3) said that during TV drama ‘Buppaesannivas’ was broadcasting, and gaining high popularity among the audiences, working group had submitted the proposal for tourism sector development model in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, under the project called ‘Neramit Ayutthaya’. This project is hoped to improve and develop Ayutthaya as the world class’s historical tourist city, which this project may require as high as 8 billion baht of fund in accordance to the investing figure that the working group had already studied.

This model believes to attract a greater number of Thai and foreign tourists to travel, do activities and stay overnight because at the moment, most tourists prefer visiting the places for 2 – 3 hours a day only.

This is way difference from the former capital city as ‘Kyoto’, which has a large number of tourists who prefer traveling and staying overnight in average of 2 – 3 nights per person.

Statistic in 2015 indicated that Japanese and foreign tourists traveled to Kyoto as high as 56.84 million, and approximated 3.16 million of them preferred staying overnight in Kyoto city.

“At the moment, one of the obstacles was that there are more than 20 – 30 related agencies involved in Ayutthaya city development model. Therefore, government should quickly decide on how they want Ayutthaya city to become, and give distinctive answer on what they want to do, and how much government wants each side of government and private sectors to invest on, and eventually make the promises, then it makes believe that private sector shall be willing to fully push forward this model.” said Mr. Chanin.

This is the matter of keeping up on how long historical tourism trend in Ayutthaya and other provinces shall last, after TV drama ‘Buppaesannivas’ had already come to an end, and how government shall take the action toward tourism sector development in Ayutthaya and provide a great potential to this former capital city of Thailand in order to sustainably attract the number of Thai and foreign tourists in comparable to Kyoto city of Japan!

Accor hopes to penetrate into new generation of tourist market, which seeks for new styles of stay experiences to response to the changing lifestyle by reinforcing the primary successful brands such as Sofitel, Pullman, Mercure and Ibis in order to penetrate into the middle class market.

JO&JOE is designed to directly serve the demand of millennial tourists, and customers with 25 – 34 years old as well as customers who understand the value of sharing, easiness, and new experience creation through the spaces for colorful life living.

Currently, Accor Group has already offered the hotel services categorized in lifestyle hotel segment for 2 brands as Sofitel and Ibis Style, while other 3 brands have not started the service in Thailand yet, but Accor Group has plan to expand the services in Thailand as well.

JO&JOE brand is classified into the budget brand of Accor Group that emphasizes on the city central location with plenty of vitalities and joyful lives and close proximity to the public transportation system.

In addition, Accor Group has planned to open this hotel brand up to 50 locations within 2020 to take up new demands of market, while JO&JOE plans to open in Paris and Bordeaux in 2018 as well as Warsaw – Poland, Budapest – Hungary, and Sao Paolo – Brazil.

For instance, ‘25hours’ has some potential to expand its market in Thailand, while ‘Mama Shelter’ brand has a plan to start the operation in Thailand soon.

In addition to ‘JO&JOE’, this hotel emphasizes on the low end customer base through the open accommodation model allowing tourist to share accommodation similar to the hostel and rental house business model, which is sold through the high popular platform among tourists across the globe as ‘Airbnb’.

Since it is a new form of spaces that are widely opened for Townsters and Tripsters, the brand concept is designed to promote good interaction and cohabitation with providing common spaces where both inside and outside customers can share them together.

This model is specialized for the group of ‘millennial tourists’ that is about to become the world’s main purchasing power in the future. Millennial tourist prefers looking for hotel that can better response to lifestyle based proposition.

ส�าหรับ ‘องค์พญาศรีสัตตนาคราช’ นั้นเกี่ยวข้องกับความเชื่อ เรื่องพญานาค ซึ่งชาวพุทธเล่าขานกันมาทั้งในพุทธประวัติ รวมถึงเรื่องราวของบรรดาเกจิอาจารย์หลายรูป พญานาค จึงถือเป็นหนึ่งในความเชื่อและแรงศรัทธาของทั้งชาวไทยและ ชาวลาวที่คอยปกปักษ์รักษาผู้คนในแถบลุ่มแม่น�้าโขง

Besides the overwhelming charm, Nakhon Phanom has a corner in religious tourism, which the first tourist attraction visitor should bear in mind is ‘Phra That Phanom’, enshrined in Wat Phra That Phanom Woramahawihan Temple; located 50 km South of the city of Nakhon Phanom. This is the most sacred Phra That (relic of the Buddha) for Sunday born people. It believes that if Sunday born person comes to pay homage to this sacred Phra That once in a lifetime, it shall bring the best fortune in life.

And when considering by Chinese zodiac year, this is Phra That for person who is born in the year of the Monkey, and this is considered the only Phra That for the Chinese zodiac year in Isan region, while

other 11 Phra Thats are all enshrined in Northern region.

Every year Wat Phra That Phanom shall hold Phra That Commemorating Festival starting from the 10th day of the third waxing moon to the 1st day of the third waning moon, which visitor coming within this period shall witness the power of faiths from the crowd coming from many places across the country.

For how to get here, if visitor decides to come alone, paying homage to Phra That Phanom requires visitor to take public transportation out of the city. There are several transporting pick-up trucks and vans running from Nakhon Phanom to Phra That Phanom throughout the day, or visitor can choose to take the van Nakhon Phanom – Mukdahan line as preference, while the flare shall depend on how fast the passenger can get to Wat Phra That Phanom temple.

If visitor prefers the slow-life style, I proudly recommends taking the pick-up truck even though it goes slow, but visitor can definitely enjoy the chilling atmosphere along both sides of the road.

By the time the writer visiting Nakhon Phanom, it was the late February, which the rice field was just about to grow saturated-green and it was just a perfect refreshing atmosphere I longing for.

If visitors traveling as a group, I would recommend to contact a rental car provider ahead of time because this will save quite a lot of money, just in case visitors want to drive a car to pay homage to

Phra That for each birth day, meant 8 Phra That’s for 8 Birth Days (including Wednesday’s night), which are spread over several districts of Nakhon Phanom. Each Phra That is enshrined quite far away from one another, which visitor can divide them into 2 days visit as the first day driving down to pay homage to Phra Thats enshrined in the bottom half of the province, and driving up to the upper half of the province to pay homage for the rest on the second day.

According to Phra That for each birth day, Phra That of Monday born person is Phra That Renu, located in Renu district, while Tuesday born person is Phra That Sri Koon, located in Na Kae district, and Wednesday born person (Day time) is Phra That Mahachai, located in PlaBak district, and Wednesday born person (Night time) is Phra That Maruka Nakhon, located in That Phanom district, and Thursday born person is Phra That Prasit, located in Nawa district, and Friday born person is Phra That Uten Tawai, located in Ta Uten district, and Saturday born person is Phra That Nakhon, located in city of Nakhon Phanom.

Besides the eight Phra Thats for each birth day, the city of Nakhon Phanom features a new landmark as ‘Phaya Srisattanakaratch’, situated in the Sri Sattanakaratch ground by Mekong riverside and right in front of the Forestry Office, Soonthorn Wichit Road that enshrine the sculpture of the great Naga, which Nakhon Phanom province had taken almost 5 years for design and construction, and had recently held the greatest opening celebration in September 2016, or over a year ago.

In addition, ‘Phaya Srisattanakaratch’ is involved with the belief in the great Naga, which Buddhists had continually passed on both in the biography of Lord Buddha, and stories of several Buddhist Guru monks so the great Naga is considered one of the

greatest beliefs and faiths for being the protecting guardian of people in Mekong river area to both Thai and Lao people.

Both Thai and Lao riverbanks have their own Naka King to rule the riverbanks, which Phaya Srisuttonakaratch; one head Naka who prefers keeping the Buddhist percepts, and practicing the dharma at Phra That Phanom rules Thai riverbank, while Phaya Srisattanakaratch; seven heads Naka rules Lao riverbank.

If visitor cannot get enough of it, visitor can continue to go cycling toward the landmark site of Phaya Srisattanakaratch, and pass by several temples as well as food shops including Isan, Vietnam and riverside café with pleasant atmosphere.

After paying homage and saying a prayer to Phaya Srisattanakaratch, another program visitor should not miss is to rent bicycle and go cycling along Mekong river since Nakhon Phanom has major tourist attractions located along Mekong river, where visitor can witness the beauty as well as local lifestyle.

Visitor can rent bicycle at the rental shop closed to the clock tower, which visitor can choose to rent for some hours or the whole day. Currently, the province has already developed the bicycle lanes to serve all cyclists. In a good fine day with the cool breeze, it would be just like heaven to go cycling along Mekong river.

Visitor can start at the Vietnamese Remembrance Clock Tower, which Vietnamese built it as their remembrance to Nakhon Phanom people by the time they migrated back to their home country in 1960 after France was defeated in Dien Bien Phu battle, then visitor continue to go cycling along Mekong river until hitting the Nakhon Phanom Governor House Museum, and end at Saint AnnaNong Saeng Church with the magnificent two towers in the total of 2 km in distance.

And when casing a look toward the otherbank of Mekong river, visitor shall witness the breathtaking

In addition to the food, it would be a great idea for visitor to try the real Isan taste here, which one of the restaurants I would like to recommend is ‘Ded Nakhon Restaurant’, located on Liab Kong road, Nakhon Phanom – Mukdahan route, in the city of Nakhon Phanom. This restaurant specially serves Isan food under the simplified atmosphere, but I guarantees the real tasty and spicy in every menu especially for Somtum dishes including Somtum with Crab and Pickled fish, Thai Somtum, Somtum with Horse Crab, Corn Somtum, etc. Besides, visitor should not miss to order the tasty big salt-crusted grilled fish served with spicy sauce and vegetables as well.

According to the accommodation located in the city of Nakhon Phanom, there are several hotels and resorts available to suit the visitor’s preferences. One of the accommodations I would like to recommend is Chic-Chid Kong Hotel & Café, located right across the landmark site of Phaya Srisattanakaratch. Rather than its quality standard in hotel and service providing, the main highlight of this hotel is the delicious breakfast dishes such as Vietnamese Rice Noodle Soup and Pan-Fried Egg with Toppings.

However, currently users can reach to the data over the internet everywhere with handheld communicating devices such as smartphone or tablet, and since internet is developed with higher speed for lesser price rate that some people can reach to, media consuming form of internet users tends to change to video viewing in greater number. This initiates the trend of data presentation in the form of Vlog.

What is Vlog?

Vlog is the combination of two words as Video + Log, or in other words as Video + Blog, which the overall meaning is to tell the story or present the contents to the public in video format by using internet channel or shortly called as Video Streaming. During the prosperous era of social network, today Vlog can easily help people in all ages and occupations

presenting their stories via its software. One interesting aspect is that entrepreneurs in several businesses can use Vlog to propagate their products and services to the group of targeted customers as well. Good news is that Vlog is the most popular content presentation over the internet in tourism business industry.

What to be Prepared before Filming the Video for Vlog?

1. Video recording camera – currently camera technology has been far developing, which motion or video shooting function should definitely be featured for practical use.

2. Microphone with good sound recording - it shall be perfect, if the camera features noise distraction elimination function.

3. Image stabilization function on camera is considered the most important feature. Even though the camera has image stabilization feature, user should always have Gimbal or tripod in hand.

4. Video editing application – for beginners, they should be benefited from free applications available both for computer PC and smartphone formats.

Some applications may be less well-known, but users can be able to get along very well after keep using them for some extending period of times. Or if the user tries using free application for sometimes, and not happy with them, or requiring to spend the money on software, user must use the copyright version of software. Using illegal software may waste the money and damage reputation in case being arrested.

5. Video storage capacity over the internet – this part is similar to the catalog that can store all of our videos, while it can be divided into categories to allow the audiences to easily follow up and choose to share them over the internet. These video storages include Youtube.com, Facebook.com, Vimeo.com or Dailymotion.com, etc.

The Guidance to Attract the Audiences with Vlog Presenting the contents via Vlog video format is quite challenging for storytellers who have never used video to tell the stories before, or even the experienced person who used to go through this aspect is still needed to pay special attention in production process since when we present the contents to the public, we can reach to the great number of audiences, which it requires to consider the various aspects as follows

1. The presented contents are related to our business or not because practically the video is made to promote our product and service to the audiences. This is considered as the first KPI that video maker should take into account.

2. It would be good if the presented story keeps up with the trend that people is paying attention at the moment because this shall amplify our content even more.

3. For long content, it is keen to present the sequences of short stories related from one to another. This shall not only make non-boring story, but also give the break point for the audiences.

Normally, the length of video over Vlog should last for 5 – 8 minutes, which is considered as the proper length for the audiences to watch over the internet.

4. Video resolution should be in good or very good quality, or at least, its resolution should be in Full HD format, and this would be even better, if the video sound quality is clear without distracting noises.

5. Pay attention to video lighting and color – for beginners, these aspects require taking some times to master them. The tip is to regularly watch other works, and do it over and over. It makes believe that in short period of times, our works shall be better as well.

6. Every video must have Subtitle for the audiences to read them. This is not only important for hearing impaired person, but also general handheld communicating device users, which generally they may be in public and require them to turn off the sound and read subtitle instead.

7. Video maker should not forget to invite the audiences to subscribe and follow up our works at the end of the video.

In addition, person who presents the story via Vlog should plan the contents ahead of time, which these contents should be in the sequences of storytelling.

These contents can be presented as regular program and broadcasted in the proper time period, for example in the morning before people go to work, lunch break period, or in the evening after work, which is considered the period with the largest number of audiences. However, the most important thing is that the presented story should not criticize the issue that gives some impacts to a large group of people such as religions, politics or ethnics because this shall not only give negative feedback to our business, but also bring up the troubles to our lives.

The Offences Related to Illegal Hotel ความหมายของค�าว่า ‘โรงแรม’ ตามมาตรา 4 ใน พระราชบัญญัติโรงแรม พ.ศ. 2547 บัญญัติไว้ว่า คือ “สถานที่พักที่จัดตั้งขึ้นโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ในทางธุรกิจ เพื่อให้บริการที่พักชั่วคราวส�าหรับคนเดินทางหรือบุคคลอื่นใด โดยมีค่าตอบแทน”

ดังนั้น หากใครก็ตามที่ 1. ท�าธุรกิจที่พัก 2. เป็นที่พักชั่วคราว (น้อยกว่า 30 วัน) และ 3. ได้รับค่าตอบแทนจากผู้มาพัก กฎหมายโรงแรมถือว่าท่านท�าธุรกิจโรงแรม ซึ่งมาตรา 15 บังคับว่าท่านต้องมีใบอนุญาตประกอบธุรกิจโรงแรม (ร.ร. 2) หากไม่มีก็มีโทษจ�าคุกไม่เกินหนึ่งปี หรือปรับไม่เกินสองหมื่น บาท หรือทั้งจ�าทั้งปรับ และปรับอีกวันละไม่เกินหนึ่งหมื่นบาท ตลอดเวลาที่ยังฝ่าฝืนอยู่

ระยะนี้ พวกเราชาวโรงแรมจะได้ข่าวการจับกุมโรงแรม ผิดกฎหมายทุกวันในจังหวัดท่องเที่ยวไม่ว่าจะเป็นเชียงใหม่ พัทยา หัวหิน และภูเก็ต ถึงกระนั้นก็ตามยังมีผู้กระท�า ผิดกฎหมายอีกมากที่ยังไม่ทราบว่าตนเองก�าลังท�าธุรกิจที่พัก ที่เข้าข่ายเป็นโรงแรม โดยความเข้าใจผิด เพราะมีผู้ไปให้ ค�าแนะน�าว่าท�าได้ หรือความไม่รู้ หรือการตีความกฎหมาย ที่ไม่ตรงกับเจตนารมณ์ของกฎหมายก็ตาม ต้องท�าความเข้าใจในเบื้องต้นก่อนว่า การท�าธุรกิจที่พักแรมนั้น ไม่ว่าท่านจะเรียกชื่อตัวเองว่าอย่างไร เช่น เซอร์วิส อะพาร์ตเมนต์ โฮมสเตย์ เกสต์เฮ้าส์ รีสอร์ท เพลส ฯ หากเข้า องค์ประกอบของค�านิยามว่า ‘โรงแรม’ ก็ต้องมีใบอนุญาต ประกอบธุรกิจโรงแรมทั้งสิ้น

นอกจากผิดกฎหมายโรงแรมแล้ว ยังเข้าข่ายความผิดตาม พระราชบัญญัติควบคุมอาคาร พ.ศ. 2522 มาตรา 33 ซึ่งห้าม ไม่ให้ใช้อาคารผิดประเภทที่ขอใบอนุญาตก่อสร้างไว้ คือ ไม่ได้ ขออนุญาตก่อสร้างโรงแรมก็น�าอาคารมาท�าโรงแรมไม่ได้ โดยมาตรา 44 ของกฎหมายควบคุมอาคารก็อนุญาตให้ เจ้าพนักงานท้องถิ่นมีอ�านาจสั่งระงับการใช้อาคาร หากมีการ ฝ่าฝืนอีกก็มีโทษจ�าคุกไม่เกินสามปี หรือปรับไม่เกินหกหมื่นบาท

หรือทั้งจ�าทั้งปรับ และปรับอีกไม่เกินวันละหนึ่งหมื่นบาท ตลอดเวลาที่ยังฝ่าฝืนหรือจนกว่าปฏิบัติให้ถูกต้อง กรณีผู้ท�าธุรกิจโฮมสเตย์ ซึ่งโดยเจตนาของกฎหมายยกเว้น ให้นั้น มีเงื่อนไขอยู่ 3 ประการ หากขาดข้อใดข้อหนึ่งถือว่า ผิดกฎหมายโรงแรมเช่นกัน คือ ข้อหนึ่ง ต้องมีจ�านวนห้องพักในอาคารเดียวกันหรือหลายอาคาร รวมกันไม่เกิน 4 ห้อง และมีจ�านวนผู้พักรวมกันทั้งหมดไม่เกิน 20 คน ข้อสอง ต้องเป็นกิจการที่เป็นรายได้เสริม เช่น รายได้หลัก มาจากอาชีพการเกษตร และ ข้อสาม ต้องไปแจ้งให้นายทะเบียนโรงแรมทราบ ค�าถามจากผู้ที่ต้องการซื้ออาคารชุดที่ผู้สร้างอาคารชุดขาย บางรายประชาสัมพันธ์วา่ ลงทุนเฉพาะเงินดาวน์ ส่วนทีเ่ หลือจะมี ผู้น�าห้องไปให้เช่ารายวันหลังจากหักเงินที่ต้องผ่อนส่งรายเดือน แล้วยังมีส่วนเกินได้อีก ท�าให้ผู้เข้าใจผิดไปซื้ออาคารชุดเหล่านี้ โดยไม่ทราบว่าผิดพระราชบัญญัติอาคารชุด พ.ศ. 2522 มาตรา

17/1 วรรคสอง คือ “ห้ามผู้ใดประกอบการค้าในอาคาร ชุด..........” มีโทษปรับไม่เกินห้าหมื่นบาท และปรับอีกไม่เกิน วันละห้าพันบาทตลอดเวลาที่ยังฝ่าฝืนอยู่ และยังต้องผิดตาม กฎหมายควบคุมอาคารว่าด้วยการใช้อาคารผิดประเภทอีกด้วย

นอกจากผู้ที่ประกอบธุรกิจให้เช่าที่พักชั่วคราวที่ไม่มีใบอนุญาต ประกอบธุรกิจโรงแรมจะผิดตามกฎหมายต่าง ๆ ข้างต้นแล้วยัง ต้องมีความผิดตามพระราชบัญญัติคนเข้าเมือง พ.ศ. 2522 มาตรา 38 อีกด้วย กล่าวคือ “เจ้าบ้าน เจ้าของหรือผูค้ รอบครอง เคหสถาน หรือผู้จัดการโรงแรม ซึ่งรับคนต่างด้าว ซึ่งได้รับ อนุญาตให้อยู่ในราชอาณาจักรเป็นการชั่วคราวเข้าพักอาศัย จะต้องแจ้งต่อพนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่ ภายในยี่สิบสี่ชั่วโมง.....” ซึ่งมีโทษปรับไม่เกินสองพันบาท

t the moment, hoteliers may hear several news about illegal hotel arresting every day in tourist cities such as Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Phuket. However, there are a large number of offenders who do not know that they are operating accommodation business categorized in hotel segment because someone may say that they can do it, or offender do not have knowledge, or mistakenly interpret the spirit of law whatsoever.

As the matter of fact, we need to preliminarily understand that for accommodation business operation, no matter how the entrepreneur call itself such as service apartment, homestay, guesthouse, resort, place, etc., if it is related to the element of ‘Hotel’ definition, such business need to obtain hotel business operation license with no exception.

The meaning of the word ‘Hotel’ following the legislation of Section 4 in Hotel Act B.E. 2547 is “The accommodation place is founded with business

Therefore, if anyone operate accommodation business, and it is a temporary accommodation (less than 30 days), and the owner of the business receive the pay from guest, Hotel Act is considered that such person operates hotel business and Section 15 forces such person to obtain hotel business operation license (Ror.Ror. 2). In case of no hotel business operation license, offender is subject to an imprisonment not exceeding one year, or a fine not exceeding 20,000 baht, or both, while offender shall be subject to a fine not exceeding 10,000 baht per day throughout the period of violation.

Besides breaking Hotel Act, offender shall break Section 33 of Building Control Act B.E. 2522, which prohibits the false use of building based on the construction license. This mean the person who does not ask permission to build up hotel cannot use such building to operate hotel at all. Section 44 of Building Control Act authorizes the local officers to restrain the use of building. In case of further violation after the restraint, the offender shall be subject to an imprisonment not exceeding three years, or a fine not exceeding 60,000 baht, or both, while the offender shall be subject to a fine not exceeding 10,000 baht per day throughout the period of violation.

In case of Homestay operator, it is exempted by the spirit of law under 3 critical conditions. It shall be considered to break the Hotel Act, if it misses any condition in the following 1. Homestay must have the number of guestrooms located in the same building or several buildings in

total not exceeding 4 guestrooms, and number of guests in total not exceeding 20 people.

2. It must be additional income business, for example the main income should come from agriculture occupation, and 3. Entrepreneur needs to inform to hotel registrar for acknowledgement.

The question from the person who wants to buy condominium unit through the propagation of condominium builder, which requires the buyer to pay the down payment for condominium unit, while the agent shall release such unit for a day rent, and after deducting the money for the installment per month, buyer should earn the surplus. This makes buyer mistakenly buy these condominium units without being aware of breaking Condominium Act B.E. 2522, Section 17/1, Paragraph Two as “Anyone is not allowed to operate business in condominium building………” The offender is subject to an imprisonment not exceeding 50,000 baht, and a fine not exceeding 5,000 baht per day throughout the period of violation, while this is considered to break Building Control Act for the misuse of building category as well.

Temporary accommodation business operated entrepreneur without hotel business operation license shall not only break all mentioned laws above, but also be guilty for Immigration Act B.E. 2522, Section 38 described as “A host, owner or dwelling place possessor or hotel manager that accepts foreigner, who is allowed to temporarily stay in the kingdom for residing, He/she must inform to competent authority within 24 hours….”. The offender of this section of law is subject to a fine not exceeding 2,000 baht.

ข้าวสังข์หยด ข้าวหอมมะลินิลสุรินทร์ ข้าวไรซ์เบอรี่ และ ข้าวเหนียวลืมผัว คุณกลินท์ สารสิน ประธานกรรมการหอการค้าไทยและสภา หอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย และประธานโครงการ Amazing Thai Taste ของคณะท�างานสานพลังประชารัฐ D3 เริม่ ต้นเล่าว่า แผนงานของโครงการฯ ในปีนี้จะรุกต่อยอดด้วยการโปรโมท เรื่อง ‘อาหารถิ่น’ ใน 5 ภาคจ�านวน 25 เมนูอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมถึงการน�าเสนอผลไม้ตามฤดูกาลตลอด 12 เดือนให้ นักท่องเที่ยวได้รับทราบข้อมูลมากขึ้นว่าแต่ละเดือนของไทยเป็น หน้าของผลไม้ชนิดไหน ไม่ใช่รู้ในวงจ�ากัดว่ามีแค่เฉพาะทุเรียน มังคุด และเงาะในช่วงหน้าฝนเท่านั้นผ่านกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ส�าหรับโครงการย่อยภายใต้ร่ม ‘Amazing Thai Taste’ ในปีนี้ มีด้วยกัน 2 โครงการหลัก ๆ โครงการแรก คือ ‘Amazing Thai Taste Restaurant’ ปัจจุบัน อยู่ระหว่างด�าเนินโครงการเป็นการสร้างเครือข่ายร้านอาหาร แนะน�าที่มีคุณภาพในทุกจังหวัดผ่านการคัดกรองของคณะ ท�างาน 5 ฝ่าย ประกอบด้วย หอการค้าไทย สมาคมภัตตาคาร ไทย สมาคมโรงแรมไทย การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) และบริษัท โตโยต้า มอเตอร์ ประเทศไทย จ�ากัด เป้าหมาย คือ การมุ่งคัดเลือก ‘ร้านอร่อย’ ในท้องถิ่นจ�านวน 1,000 ร้าน กระจายอยู่ทั่วทุกภูมิภาคให้เป็น ‘แม่เหล็ก’ ช่วย ดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวให้เกิดกระแสการเดินทางไปชิมอาหารถึง ท้องถิ่นอย่างเห็นเป็นรูปธรรมและชัดเจนมากขึ้นในปี 2561 โดย เกณฑ์ในการพิจารณามีอยู่ 4 เกณฑ์ด้วยกัน คือ 1. รสชาติ อาหารและรูปแบบการน�าเสนอ 2. คุณภาพของวัตถุดิบ 3. สะอาดถูกสุขอนามัย และ 4. การให้บริการ ส่วนอีกโครงการ คือ ‘Amazing Thai Taste Festival 2018’ เตรียมจัดอีเวนต์ในเดือนมิถุนายนของปี ซึ่งเป็นช่วงที่ นักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติเดินทางเข้าไทยน้อยที่สุดให้เป็นเดือนแห่ง ‘เทศกาลอาหารไทย’ เพราะตรงกับช่วงที่มีผลผลิตผลไม้ หลากหลายชนิดออกสู่ท้องตลาดให้เลือกสรรจ�านวนมาก โดยททท.มีก�าหนดจัดงานเทศกาลอาหารไทยครั้งใหญ่ในวันที่ 7-10 มิถุนายนนี้ ที่สยามสแควร์ ซึ่งในงานจะเป็นการรวบรวม อาหารขึ้นชื่อของทั้ง 5 ภาค ตั้งแต่สตรีทฟู้ด อาหารจานเด็ด จากเชฟชื่อดัง รวมไปถึงอาหารส�ารับชาววัง และกิจกรรมที่ น่าสนใจอีกมากมายขณะที่เหล่าพันธมิตรมีกิจกรรมจัดขึ้น ทั่วประเทศคอยเสริมทัพตลอดทั้งปีนี้ คุณกลินท์ เล่าปิดท้ายด้วยว่า กิจกรรมและอีเวนต์ทั้งหมดของ โครงการ Amazing Thai Taste ในปีนี้หวังว่าจะช่วยผลักดัน การเติบโตของรายได้ที่เกิดจากการใช้จ่ายด้านอาหารของ นักท่องเที่ยวให้เพิ่มขึ้นจาก 5.9 แสนล้านบาทในปี 2560 เป็น 7.5 แสนล้านบาทของรายได้การท่องเที่ยวทั้งหมดในปีนี้ หลังททท.วางเป้าหมายรายได้ภาพรวมไว้ที่ 3 ล้านล้านบาท จากตลาดนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งในและต่างประเทศ!

mazing Thai Taste’ is considered one of the projects of Public-Private Collaboration Working Group (D3) in Tourism and Mice Promotion, which has the sequences of project execution plans this year.

After 2016, Public-Private Collaboration Working Group (D3) has joined hands with its alliances for over 50 organizations to drastically promote the consumption of Thai food, fruit, rice and souvenir specialized in the food industry for tourist market so that the revenue from food trading could mostly be disseminated down to the local economy across all THAI HOTELS & TRAVEL

regions starting from local agriculture to street food levels that is so well known across the globe.

The plan had begun with the introduction of 6 main menus as Pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong, Green Curry, Tom Kha Khai, and Massaman Curry; basically considered as the world’s top famous menus, to the network of food shops, shopping centers, airports, and airlines so that they could promote to their customers both Thai and foreign tourists. This also included 5 local rice seedlings, which was aimed to attract tourists to visit the habitat of each seedling including Red Brown Jasmine Rice, Germinated Sangyod Brown Rice, Mali Nil Surin Jasmine Rice, Riceberry Rice, and Leum Pua Glutinous Rice.

Mr. Kalin Sarasin, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand as well as holding the office of the President of Amazing Thai Taste Project of Public-Private Collaboration Working Group (D3) described that the project plan this year shall continue the extensive promotion of ‘Local Food’ in 5 regions in the total of 25 menus as well as seasonal fruits throughout 12 months to acknowledge tourists in larger numbers through

various activities so that tourists shall know the kind of fruit bearing in each month of Thailand, not in the limited recognition i.e. Durian, Mangosteen and Rambutan are available during the rainy season only.

In addition to the minor project under ‘Amazing Thai Taste’, this year introduces 2 main projects.

The first one is ‘Amazing Thai Taste Restaurant’, which currently, it is in the middle of project execution to build up the quality recommended restaurant network in every province throughout the screening of 5 working groups as the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Thai Restaurant Association, Thai Hotels Association (THA), Tourism Authority of Thailand (THA), and Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. Its goal is to meticulously select ‘Good Taste Food Shop’ in local are in the total of 1,000 food shopsacross all regions so that they shall become the ‘magnet’ to concretely attract a larger number of tourists to visit the area to taste those local foods in 2018. In addition, the screen has 4 criterions in the following 1. Food taste and Format Presentation

2.Ingredient Quality 3.Hygiene and Sanitation, and 4.Service Providing.

The other project is ‘Amazing Thai Taste Festival 2018’; held in June this year, which is considered to have the least number of foreign tourists traveling to Thailand, but this is the period that several kinds of fruits are available in the market.

TAT shall arrange this greatest Thai food festival between 7 – 10 June 2018 at Siam Square, which the event shall gather up the famous foods from 5 regions starting from street foods, signature dishes from the famous chefs as well as foods for palace people, and several interesting activities, while the alliances shall also arrange related-activities across the country throughout this year.

Mr. Kalin said that all activities and events of Amazing Thai Taste project this year shall hopefully help driving the revenue growth in tourist’s food expenditure from 5.9 hundred billion baht in 2017 to 7.5 hundred billion baht of the overall tourism revenue this year since TAT had set the overall revenue growth at 3 trillion baht from tourist market both domestically and internationally!
