Rocky River is a city that is constantly growing. Even during historically turbulent times such as the COVID pandemic, our community was breaking records in terms of community investment. rom his first day in August 2025 as the new superintendent of the Rocky River City School District, Adham Schirg experienced “the depth of pride, tradition and history that defines the community.” Those aspects are both exciting and humbling, says the administrator, who previously was superintendent of Fairbanks Local School District in Union County for six years. “From Beach Preschool to Kensington Intermediate School, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year, our schools are community landmarks that hold deep meaning for generations of residents,” says Schirg. Throughout his career in education, Schirg has served as a principal, assistant

Get to know new Superintendent Adham Schirg. By Jill Sell

principal, athletic director, dean of students, social studies teacher and girls and boys soccer coach. His positions included those in both the Worthington City Schools and Westerville City Schools. Currently, Schirg is a doctoral candidate in education/educational leadership and policy at Ohio’s Miami University. He also holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from The Ohio State University. He and his wife, Mary, now live in Rocky River and have daughters who attend the middle school, high school and the University of Cincinnati. Schirg believes his passion for building community vision through collaboration, communication and connection will help maintain and progress Rocky River’s goals. And, speaking of goals — “Soccer has always been a lifelong passion of mine,” says Schirg. “I’ve played since I was 5 years old and continued coaching well into my adult life before moving into school administration. I am still looking for a local team to join, so if anyone needs an extra player, please let me know.”

his March, Peter Matera will celebrate his 1-year anniversary as director of the Rocky River Public Library. Matera has been with the library since 2007, beginning as a computer aide. He was promoted to several positions over the years and was interim director early in 2025. “There are so many engaged, supportive and knowledgeable people on staff and in the community, and I’ve gotten to know many of them well,” says Matera, who holds a master’s degree in library science from Kent State University and an undergraduate fine arts degree from Bowling Green State University. “We are

an independent, well-supported library, which allows us to adapt quickly and respond to changing needs and expectations of how libraries can be there for their communities.” Matera spent the first few years of his career at the Grove City Library and the Ingalls Library at the Cleveland Museum of Art. His wide range of library experience includes IT systems, applications and related services; reference; acquisitions; project management; statistics; and administration. He’s looking forward to implementing the library’s new strategic plan that will run through 2028 and celebrating the library’s 100th anniversary that year. Matera, who loves to read, takes advantage of audiobooks when he’s driving or doing chores. That way he can listen to 60 to 80 books a year. Recent fiction favorites include: The Safekeep by Yael van de Wouden and Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar. Matera is also slowly making his way through 60-plus listening hours of Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace.

ride of place and connection to community inspired a refreshed logo and tagline for Rocky River — a modern visual rooted in tradition, tying in the iconic clock tower and stylized waves. The new brand imagery accompanies the city’s first tagline: “Inspired by the Lake — Driven by Community.” “I’m proud it was created internally, and the tagline and imagery really speak to what the community values,” says Mayor Pamela Bobst, noting a collaborative effort refined by Director of Planning and Community Development Kathryn Kerber and Director of Parks and Recreation Bob Holub. “While we appreciate the natural assets we are all inspired by and connected to, what we really value is community. That’s what’s important to residents,” Mayor Bobst relates. The new logo and tagline will be introduced gradually as letterhead, business cards and other assets, along with serving as updated imagery on signage. Meanwhile, the city seal is a stronghold that will stay. The maritime-inspired emblem is stamped on city hall’s terrazzo tile and doorknobs and serves as a heritage mark. Mayor Bobst suggests the logo will spark curiosity from those who are visiting the city, and will resonate with residents. Kerber adds, “The logo is more active and has a lot of movement, so we hope residents find it more engaging and that it provides a feel for who we are as a community.” — Kristen Hampshire

The Rocky River Park Master Plan strengthens the city’s lakefront connection.

he evening sun slowly glides into Lake Erie, dunking into twilight with stunning views from a northwest-facing bluff at Rocky River Park, where sounds of summer include live music, children playing, beachcombers and nearby neighbors who capture it all right from home. Rocky River Park — a gathering spot reached by foot or bike for many residents — is a destination for anyone who appreciates amenities at the water’s edge. Now, a cohesive Rocky River Park Master Plan offers a vision for the future that integrates a series of upgrades during the past decade, including: the new pavilion with a fireplace for hosting gatherings and concerts; a shoreline overlook offering panoramic Lake Erie views; and playground updates. “We want to bring together all of these elements and improve lakefront access while addressing topography for a more accessible, enjoyable experience with more stopping off points to watch the waves or sunset,” says Mayor Pamela Bobst. Rich Snyder, director of public safety and service, agrees. “Our goal was to maintain a community feel while maximizing the amenities we offer here,” he says. The master plan, developed with resident input, involved site evaluations to address stormwater runoff, shoreline erosion and accessibility. It first addresses deterioration of a stormwater culvert, along with shoreline resilience and then the steep inclines from street and parking levels to the waterfront. Next comes connectivity improvements. Currently, the city is in the process of obtaining funding to begin shoreline resiliency and stormwater outfall efforts while preserving the hillside. Strong

College Club West, the Rotary Club and the Westlake Hotel have stood the test of time, shaping life in Rocky River for a century. By Jill Sell

n a world that seems to run on speed and inevitable change, it’s somehow reassuring that some local, beloved buildings and institutions have reached the century mark. Three wellknown Rocky River entities can stake that claim. COLLEGE CLUB WEST

The 175-member club celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. A major celebration is scheduled for April 24 at the Cleveland Yachting Club, with additional presentations at West Side libraries throughout the year. Those activities are in addition to the club’s annual scholarship program, which began in1971, and which awards at least $2,000 to several recipients. Keynote speakers at club meetings have included media personalities and journalists, female college presidents, The U.S. Coast Guard speaking about Lake Erie shipwrecks and former spies for the United States. College Club West is also known for its interest groups, smaller gatherings that are suggested by members. Topics include: golf, walking, books, food, films, creative writing and more. “Some groups are more intellectual than others, and some are just like happy hours where you can go out and have fun,” says Bendik, who leads a Spanish language group. College Club West members are proud of their first 100 years, will celebrate with joy and are actively seeking new recruits.

ROTARY CLUB OF LAKEWOOD AND ROCKY RIVER Thom Geist has been a member of the Rotary Club of Lakewood and Rocky River for 55 of the organization’s 100 years. He’s also the club’s resident historian. While many things have changed since its founding (like Zoom calls now occasionally replacing face-to-face meetings), the Rotary Club’s commitment to the community has remained steadfast. In addition to supporting numerous causes such as Meals on Wheels and the Community West Foundation, the Rotary Club is known for its service to students. Geist says being part of the scholarship committee has been one of the highlights of his Rotary membership. “That was the most rewarding thing I ever did, because it involved talking to these kids, reading what they presented to us and going over [the applications],” he says, noting that choosing was sometimes so difficult, one member of the committee once donated his own money to allow for more winners. As it celebrates its centennial, the club (which, coincidentally, used to meet at the Westlake Hotel) continues to play an important role in the community, and Geist hopes membership will grow. Meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Don Umerley Civic Center. Anyone interested in joining can learn more at lakewoodrockyriverrotary.org. The Lakewood-Rocky River Rotary Club awarded $3,000 college scholarships to six graduating seniors.

It was a different world for women in college in the 1920s. Many women enrolled with the primary goal of getting their MRS. degree (as in finding a suitable husband). Women who graduated and began careers were expected to give up those plans once they were married or started a family. “But some women wanted to continue with their intellectual pursuits and keep their minds going,” says Cheryl Bendik, co-chair of College Club West’s Centennial Committee and past president of the organization. That desire for continuing education led to the creation of the Lakewood College Club in 1926, which expanded to become College Club West in 1980. Membership is still limited to women college graduates and those with nursing degrees. A number of multigenerational members are represented.

THE WESTLAKE HOTEL The Westlake Hotel or “The Westlake“ (officially The Westlake Condominiums) celebrated its 100th birthday in 2025. If the party guest list could include anyone who stayed there over the past 10 decades, Amelia Earhart and Charles Lindbergh, among many other notables, would be invited. (Early aviators often used the neon, 20-foot-high Hotel Westlake sign to guide them into Cleveland Municipal Airport.) Opened in 1925 and built at the amazing cost of $3.5 million, the “Pink Palace” boasted 400 suites. Constructed with brick, stucco and concrete and overlooking the western bank of the Rocky River, The Westlake was considered one of the most luxurious suburban hotels in the country. Over the years, it survived the Wall Street crash, a devastating fire in 1962 and later, a rundown reputation. Its life turned around when it became a condo development in 1983, the same year it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today The Westlake features 95 condo units in its main building, including 12

two-story penthouses. The property also is home to 17 villas in an 8-story, smaller building built in 1984. Manager John Kuluris, who has been with The Westlake for 32 years, says tenants particularly appreciate the complex’s pool, beautiful, “nicely laid out” suites and the bar in the party room, originally from The Silverthorne Inn, for 66 years a popular social center in the community until it was demolished for The Westlake Hotel. The uniqueness of the condo complex also appeals to tenants and Rocky River residents. “The Spanish Colonial Revival look is something you’d see in Miami, not necessarily Northeast Ohio,” says Kuluris, who

is one of the few people who has a key to the roof’s former sun deck. “Up there, we have a roof light on our flag that helps bring boats in from the Marina at The Westlake. If it goes out, we hear about it. We are still important to people.” The Westlake hopes the beacon of light will continue to shine for another 100 years on the city of Rocky River.

ore than brick and mortar and beyond its buildings, Rocky River’s investment in infrastructure is centered in the community. It’s all about the people. The city’s commitment to safety, continuity and service comes to life with landmark projects including the new firehouse. Construction is underway at city hall campus for the 26,000-square-foot fire station to replace the mid-century original, built in 1954. The updated facility will feature six apparatus bays, expanded training space, modern living quarters and design features that support firefighter wellness. Community engagement and future-focused planning are at the core. “We always have to think 50 years from now,” Mayor Pamela Bobst says. Fire Chief Aaron Lenart describes the project as a vital step toward maintaining safety and readiness. The new fire station will accommodate 45 firefighters; the city currently has a team of 29 in a 10,000-square-foot facility.

“It’s designed with the health of personnel and emergency response to the community in mind,” Lenart says, noting the station will be a community asset that will also attract talent to the department. Meanwhile, the Building Department oversaw the review and approval of designs and will ensure building code compliance and contractor registration, along with conducting inspections. A New Era of Readiness Extensive research and idea gathering prefaced building designs and engineering plans. The fire department toured a number of modern stations to experience first-hand how features such as fire poles and training elements improve response time and wellness. Lenart and team members attended fire station conferences, which helped inform the building plans. “There is data showing that fire poles are safer than using stairs and can reduce

falling hazards,” he says of two poles that will allow firefighters to glide from upstairs living quarters to the main level. Rocky River enlisted Perspectus as the primary architect, along with public safety engineering firm Mull & Weithman, known for its firehouse projects. “They had the knowledge and experience to help us design spaces that address

cancer and mental health issues, along with how to navigate what is buildable and cost effective,” Lenart says. The pre-existing firehouse was a ranch design with a single, shared dorm space and four apparatus bays. The new layout will be constructed on the same site and include individual sleeping quarters and living space, housed on the second floor. “It’s living upstairs and business downstairs,” Lenart says. Meanwhile, on-site training elements will allow for more extensive, technical education with roof, ladder and rope operations. Firefighters were involved in the design of the new station, bringing voice to a project that is essentially a workplace and second home. “We’re a busy station,” Lenart says, relating that the new firehouse design will provide employees with an environment for success — improved health, faster response times and greater community engagement.

It’s a measure of the community’s success.” Overseeing the city’s turnkey Building Department is Ray Reich, the chief building official (CBO), zoning administrator and flood-plain administrator. “We’re tasked with providing a level of health and safety with construction projects, and ensuring zoning compliance,” he says. Facilitating inspections in-house allows for flexibility and convenience, Reich points out. “Keeping all the duties inhouse keeps everyone’s projects flowing,” he says. Together, the Building Department team brings decades of private-sector experience and professional certification to every project.

The Building Department preserves Rocky River’s pride of place. During the last decade, the city has cultivated a team with all required certifications to operate independently — a distinction many cities no longer share as they consolidate or outsource inspections and plan reviews to third-party agencies. “We can make projects go smoother and more efficiently, and we are an advocate for residents,” says Mayor Pamela Bobst. “We want to be facilitators and problem-solvers,” she adds, emphasizing the city’s priority to expedite construction and renovation efforts, ensure high-integrity contractors are on every job and

He worked for more than 20 years in the residential, development and light construction industry, which shaped his understanding of timelines, budgets and builder challenges. Under his leadership, the department has earned every state-required certification to conduct inspections and plan reviews in-house, ensuring faster service and consistent quality. Reich also oversees zoning and flood-plain administration, maintaining safety, code compliance and design integrity across the community. His approach reflects Rocky River’s broader infrastructure vision — responsive, resident-focused and built for long-term stability. “We provide a level of insurance that you’re getting the best level of construction, safety and welfare possible — and we want projects to be successful,” he says.

A longtime public servant with a background in safety oversight and community standards, John Peters helps keep Rocky River’s neighborhoods well-maintained, safe and welcoming. Peters began his municipal career in Fairview Park before joining Rocky River in 2017 as a rental and property maintenance inspector. Today, he focuses on ensuring homes and neighborhoods meet the city’s high expectations for upkeep and safety, from verifying working smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors to addressing exterior code violations. “People take pride in their properties in Rocky River,” he says, noting that most concerns come from residents who want to preserve that standard. Peters finds satisfaction in seeing improvements take shape and helping residents reach compliance. “It’s rewarding to watch a property transform and know the whole neighborhood benefits.”

Luke Markovich brings hands-on construction experience and a deep respect for Rocky River’s older homes to his role in the Building Department. A state-licensed residential building official, he oversees the city’s rental program, working directly with landlords to ensure compliance with fire and safety codes. Markovich also assists with property maintenance inspections. Having worked in the construction field for years, Markovich understands the challenges of maintaining historic housing stock while meeting modern standards. He’s often the friendly voice residents reach when they have questions about upkeep or city ordinances. “We get a lot of fulfillment from helping people,” he says. “Whether it’s answering a call or resolving an issue, it’s about keeping homes safe and neighborhoods looking their best.”

A Rocky River native and lifelong electrician, Aaron Hare brings deep technical expertise and hometown pride to his role as residential building official and electrical safety inspector. Before joining the city more than three years ago, he spent over a decade in his family’s electrical business, gaining hands-on experience in residential and small-scale commercial work. Today, Hare oversees residential inspections and helps homeowners navigate projects ranging from minor upgrades to full additions. “We work for the homeowners, not the contractors,” he says. “Our goal is to make sure every project meets code so residents can feel confident and safe in their homes.” Hare values the department’s collaborative spirit, where in-house certification and trade experience keep projects moving smoothly and standards high.

For Meg Moran, serving in the Building Department feels like coming full circle. She grew up in Rocky River — her father was a principal at Kensington Elementary School for almost three decades — and she still runs into familiar faces at city hall. Moran manages the day-to-day flow of permits, inspections and resident inquiries. With a background in recreational therapy and real estate, she combines efficiency with a warm, personal touch. Known for her quick turnaround and clear communication, she guides residents and contractors through the process with care. “It’s about protecting our residents and helping projects move forward smoothly,” she says.

Dylan Minek is the city’s go-to person for questions about property zoning. With a degree in urban and regional planning — and nearing completion of his master’s degree in urban planning and development — he’s a perfect fit for the job, which he’s held since January 2025. Minek acts as a liaison between property owners and the planning commission and zoning boards. He helps ensure property owners have the required materials to move forward with their projects. “Part of my work is in the zoning ordinances, so people will call and ask for verifications of parcels to see if they can put their business there, what are the setbacks and what are the requirements to the zoning code for the parcel of land that they own,” Minek explains. He adds that he enjoys applying what he’s learned in his degree programs to helping residents bring their building projects to fruition.

Heritage Home Program For residents looking to invest in home improvements for their houses that are at least 50 years old, the Heritage Home Program, offered in partnership with Cuyahoga County, offers low-interest loans. While the rate of 2% for 2025 ended on Dec. 31, a new, low-interest loan will be available in early 2026. The loans are offered through partner KeyBank and cover a range of projects, including plumbing and electrical updates, HVAC and kitchen and bathroom renovations, to help residents maintain their older homes. Executive Assistant to the Mayor and Legal Assistant to the Law Director

With 18 years of government finance experience, Rocky River’s Assistant Finance Director Jonathan Lindow is tackling his new position with enthusiasm. Lindow is five months in and settling into the job comfortably. “I have previous experience with two cities in Northeast Ohio and one in the Columbus area, and I have been a CPA for the last nine years,” he says. On a typical day, Lindow dabbles in a little bit of everything. From helping to formulate the 2026 city budget to looking over current year spending and taxes to union contracts and property tax, he manages how money is used throughout the city. “My role has to be involved in lots of different things,” he says. “Every day is different for me.” According to Lindow, a good finance department helps the city run smoothly by being helpful and accommodating for residents. “Even though Rocky River is a smaller community, it’s a robust community,” he says. “The finance department has to be knowledgeable and helpful to all the city’s areas and departments and understand that every department is different.” When he’s not keeping tabs on the financial health of the city, Lindow enjoys the parks and businesses that make Rocky River so great. “I enjoy going for runs and bike rides through [Rocky River Park],” he says. “It’s very convenient to have that right in the city.” Rocky River has been a particularly friendly community to work in, Lindow notes. “It’s been a very welcoming city with a lot of good employees and good residents.”

As executive assistant to Mayor Pamela Bobst, Michelle Root is always on top of what’s going on in the city. A Rocky River resident since 2004, Root worked as a paralegal for over 30 years. “I was working for the city of Cleveland when I saw the posting for this job, and I have always wanted the opportunity to serve the city I live in, so I applied,” says Root, who settled into her new position in March. Root works behind the scenes, ensuring every detail of Mayor Bobst’s day runs smoothly. “I maintain her calendar and get her schedule ready for the day, and I take calls from residents,” Root says. She adds that one of the most fulfilling parts of the job involves citywide proclamations. “If someone is having a 100th birthday or a special recognition, I get to talk to the person or family member to get a brief history,” she says. “I really get to know people and hear their stories and their history. It’s pretty amazing.” Serving the community she lives in makes the job particularly special to Root. She says that as executive assistant to the mayor, she gets to be involved with the people in her community and is able to really get to know them. When she is not assisting the mayor or communicating with residents, Root finds time to enjoy the natural beauty of Rocky River. “I love Bradstreet’s Landing,”she says. “I live close by, so I can just walk up there and watch the sunset or soak up the sun, and it almost feels like a mini vacation.”

Brad Wisniewski has always been drawn to sports and recreation. The Pittsburgh native studied sports administration at Kent State University and found himself in the parks and recreation field when he landed his first job with the city of Macedonia. Since June, Wisniewski has been heading up the fitness and community programs department for the city of Rocky River. “I’m new here, but it’s been great,” he says. “My whole background has always been sports and recreation, and I really can’t see myself doing anything else, so I jumped at this opportunity.” Wisniewski is in charge of all of Rocky River’s fitness classes and instructors as well as overseeing fitness equipment. “The fun and unique part of recreation is that every day could be completely different,” he says. The “programs” part of the job includes all community events and programs such as kids’ dance workshops, arts and crafts classes, educational fitness classes for seniors and more. Staying connected with residents is an integral part of his job. “Listening to our members is our driving factor,” he says. As the fitness and community programs manager, Wisniewski is always looking ahead, which means he is already thinking about summer and fall events for 2026. “I think we are going to do a lot of the same stuff with some fun little twists,” he says. “We’d like to expand a little bit on that and include a fun fall festival, which is something I’m looking forward to, and just getting our community out into the parks and enjoying recreation.”

Elected City Officials

The city charter, passed in 1960, provides for the election of a mayor, a law director and seven members of council, one elected from each of the four wards in the city and three elected at-large. The terms of these offices are two years in length, and all expire on Dec. 31, 2027. Legislative meetings are held every second and fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall. Rocky River residents are responsible for paying the following local taxes: INCOME TAX The current income tax rate in Rocky River is 2% and is imposed on earned income consisting of wages, salaries and net profits of business attributable to activities in the city. Credit up to 1.5% is allowed for tax paid to other cities. As with the federal and state income tax, much of the local income tax is collected through employer payroll withholding. Annually, all residents over 18 years old are required to file either 1) an income tax return, or 2) a valid exemption certificate. REAL ESTATE PROPERTY TAX The full property tax rate for Rocky River (134.20 mills for 2024 to be paid in 2025, the most recent data available) is levied on the tax value of land, buildings and certain public utility property. The total tax value of all property in Rocky River, as of 1/1/2025, is $1,323,902,110. The full rate may be reduced by a House Bill 920 reduction, a nonbusiness credit, an owner occupancy credit and a homestead credit. Therefore, the effective tax rate is less than the full tax rate. Real estate property taxes are billed to property owners and collected by Cuyahoga County with payments due semiannually in January and July.

SNOW REMOVAL Section 521.06 of the city’s Codified Ordinances requires residents to keep their sidewalks free of ice and snow. The Service Department does not plow aprons or nondedicated, private streets. The city also has a policy for snow removal from the aprons of senior citizens who are 70 years of age or older that live alone, qualify financially and are medically disabled and can provide proof of the disability. Senior residents who qualify must send in their applications annually prior to Sept. 30. Contact the Senior Center at (440) 333-6664 for details. The removal of snow from these aprons is done after the city streets have been plowed. Rocky River has a snow ban requirement that prohibits parking on city streets when snow is in excess of 2 inches of accumulation. Once snow has accumulated over 2 inches, no parking will be permitted on city streets. The no parking snow ban requirements are defined in the Rocky River Codified Ordinance Section 351.19 titled, “Snow Emergency and Parking Ban.” TRASH & YARD WASTE COLLECTION Refuse picked up from your driveways must be properly contained in 32-gallon cans with detached lids, tied plastic bags and separate, blue bags for recyclables. All refuse must be freely accessible and not in a bin, storage area or fenced-in area. The city of Rocky River is divided into five sections, and each section has a regular refuse collection day each week. The following items must be placed on your tree lawn on your scheduled refuse collection day for pickup to avoid confusion about what is or is not a discarded item: children’s toys, grills, wheelbarrows, white goods (sinks, toilets, appliances, etc.), carpet and old garbage cans (labeled “take can”). With regard to items placed on the tree lawn for pickup, Rocky River Codified Ordinance Sec. 941.03(b) specifies that these items are not to be placed on the tree lawn before 7 p.m. on the evening before your pickup day. TRANSFER STATION Transfer Station Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m.-noon (must arrive before 11:45 a.m.); closed Wednesday, Sunday and holidays. Residents only with picture I.D. No commercial waste. No landscapers. RECYCLING Rocky River uses the blue bag method of recycling. Loose cardboard put out with refuse cannot be collected. Collapse cardboard into a blue bag or take collapsed cardboard to bins (see the following section for more details). WHAT GOES IN YOUR BLUE BAG? • Glass: bottles and jars of all colors, food and beverage containers only. Rinse containers and replace lids. Labels do not have to be removed. • Aluminum and steel: food and beverage cans only (soda, soup, pet, etc.). Rinse containers. COMPOSTING Residents interested in composting are encouraged to review the city website for complete information regarding RRCO Section 521.11. Highlights include: • Must consist of yard waste or fruit and vegetable waste and be stored in back yards, at least 15 feet from property lines. • Must be enclosed by a barrier not exceeding 4 feet in height. • Must not be in excess of 1% of the square footage of the lot or 75 square feet, whichever is less. • Must not create a public nuisance, foul odor or health or fire hazard. • Must not impede any natural water course or drainage runoff from the property. GRASS AND YARD WASTE RECYCLING All grass clippings and other vegetation must be placed in natural, 30-gallon brown paper bags (available at hardware, home and grocery stores). Yard waste in plastic bags will not be accepted. The bags should be placed on the tree lawn on collection day. Brush must be cut in 4-foot lengths, tied in bundles and taken to the tree lawn. If a contractor removes brush or a tree, they are responsible for removal of all debris. In the fall, leaves should be raked to the tree lawn for pickup. They should never be raked into the street, because they plug storm-water catch basins, create an obstacle should a snow storm occur and may be a fire hazard if a car with a warm engine is parked over dry leaves. OTHER ITEMS Residents may drop off at the transfer station, or the Service Department will collect weekly from your tree lawn, on your regular collection day, the following items: •H ousehold appliances (refrigerator doors must be removed) • Computers/electronics •M otor oil (in a properly marked, unbreakable container) • Asphalt (noncommercial) • Concrete (noncommercial) • Lead acid (automobile batteries) •L atex paint (in dried form).
