Dear Lorain County Chamber Member

On behalf of the County Chamber Board of Directors and Staff, “Thank You!” for being a member and partner with the Lorain County Chamber of Commerce and supporting the Lorain County business community. As we begin year three of the new normal, we are thankful for your dedication to our organization as we strive toward excellence by building upon our partnerships and collaborations within the business community.

This past year has been focused on what can we do to help secure a brighter and more vibrant future for Lorain County. The establishment of a Public/Private organization under the umbrella of the Chamber of Commerce has put into motion an integrated economic development strategy for Lorain County that will provide us with a roadmap for success. We have done community outreach and received input from our elected officials, business leaders, nonprofit organizations, educational partners and philanthropic agencies to ensure we cover every aspect needed to be sustainable and successful.

This renewed focus on workforce and economic development reestablishes the County Chamber as the facilitator and liaison between our regional, state and federal agencies looking at Lorain County to expand or relocate businesses here. Providing the opportunity for entrepreneurs to prosper and succeed is how Lorain County was established in 1824 and, as we move toward our county’s bicentennial year, we know this will be how we continue to grow the opportunities awaiting us in the next 200 years.

This coming year will afford us the chance to Reflect upon our past, as we Adapt in the present to allow us to Transform for the future. We can only do this because of your continued support of our Program of Work over the past 35 years. It will take hard work and dedication from all of us here at the Chamber as well as our businesses, organizations, elected officials and the residents that call Lorain County home. I can’t say it will be easy or without some bumps along the way, but finding a solution Together is what we have always done well.

Sincerely,

Anthony L. Gallo, President and CEO
