Each sail provides a healing opportunity for cancer patients, caregivers, and loved ones to step away from the stress of treatment and reconnect with peace, joy, and one another. Each nominee may bring up to five loved ones—family or friends—to share in this healing experience. Our mission sails help ease the anxiety, uncertainty, and emotional strain that cancer brings to the entire family. These powerful experiences create moments of courage, connection, and lasting memories during an incredibly difficult time. All sails are conducted by experienced volunteer captains and trained crew aboard a variety of local vessels generously offered by community partners and private boat owners.
