2019 SUMMARY REPORT

Introduction As we prepare for our 7th GiveNOLA Day on May 5, 2020, I’m excited to share this detailed report that highlights the tremendous results we achieved with GiveNOLA Day in 2019! In this report, you’ll find key details about GiveNOLA Day 2019 and what we accomplished. It takes strong support and partnerships with sponsors to pull off a giving day of this magnitude, and we are so grateful to all of our wonderful GiveNOLA Day sponsors, especially our presenting sponsor Entergy, for their generosity and leadership. Thanks so very much to the these sponsors—the 84 corporations, foundations, and individuals who collectively contributed $420,000 to support GiveNOLA Day. All of the money we raise from sponsors goes directly to participating nonprofits through the Lagniappe Fund and our GiveNOLA Day prizes and provides the extra boost of energy and excitement we use to fuel our giving day. I continue to be overwhelmed by the sheer generosity of the people of our region and our friends from across the country and internationally. GiveNOLA Day has literally turned into the Mardi Gras of giving! Raising $5.9 million

from 28,000 individual donors who made over 50,000 separate gifts in just 24 hours is no easy feat, and to have again set another record in terms of how much we raised demonstrates the strength of our region and the commitment of so many people to helping us create a vibrant, sustainable and just region for all here in Southeast Louisiana. We hope that the contents of this report will provide useful data that can help sponsors of GiveNOLA Day as well as participating nonprofits understand more about the amazing impact that resulted from GiveNOLA Day 2019. Here at the Greater New Orleans Foundation, we gearing up for another successful GiveNOLA Day in 2020. With your help, we can do even more this year! Please mark your calendars for May 5 and join us in making GiveNOLA Day 2020 the best yet! Regards, ANDY KOPPLIN
