Ticket Information

Tickets can be conveniently purchased at any parade home on the day of the event. Each ticket costs $5, and children aged 12 and under can enter for free. All proceeds benefit MY Place.

Strategic Planning

Plan your route in advance by reviewing all available home locations. This way, you can maximize your time and see as many houses as possible.

House Rules

Smoking, bringing strollers, consuming food or beverages, and bringing pets are not permitted at any parade home.

All donations made through the Greater Mankato Parade of Homes will go towards the MY Place Capital Campaign and will be matched by the Otto Bremer Trust.

Please wear shoes that are easy to remove, as many homes may require shoe removal or the use of shoe coverings.

Mankato Youth Place is committed to providing a nurturing environment that empowers youth to build the confidence, knowledge and skills needed to reach their full potential.

MY Place provides youth in our community:

A safe and fun place to spend time and participate in positive programs, an alternative to the streets or being home alone.

• Educational support to improve academic performance and graduation rates

• Help to build new skills to raise their belief that they can succeed and receive recognition for accomplishments.

• The opportunity to build encouraging and on-going relationships with caring adults and connections to new friends in a positive environment.

A place that reinforces a sense of belonging, empowerment, personal accountability, civility and civic responsibility.

All proceeds collected from the Greater Mankato Parade of Homes will be donated to MY Place.

Capital Campaign Relocation and Expansion Project

MY Place opened its doors in October 2018 as a Boys and Girls Club to fill a growing need in our community. In the fall of 2019 they transitioned to MY Place. They serve youth in kindergarten through 8th grade when not in school. There is no cost to participate in this program which means that ALL kids have access to an out of school opportunity. MY Place is able to offer this resource because of the generosity of the community.

Our need has grown since opening our doors, and we would very much like to be able to continue to offer programming to ALL kids in our area. This is why the Relocation and Expansion Project is so important. Once complete, we will be able to serve over twice as many children as we can currently.
