Neighbors helping neighbors: the TFNB team in Woodway/Hewitt
Atthe corner of Hewitt Drive and Industrial, just a stone’s throw from bustling neighborhoods and local businesses, you’ll see more than a bank building—you’ll find a team of local professionals dedicated to serving the community they call home. The TFNB Your Bank for Life location in Woodway/Hewitt is staffed by individuals who not only understand the unique needs of Central Texans, but live and work right alongside them.
This location opened its doors as part of TFNB’s expanded footprint across McLennan County, and serves as a hub for both personal and business banking. What sets it apart isn’t just bricks and mortar—it’s the people inside.
“When someone walks through our door, they’re not just a customer, they’re a neighbor,” says Sr. VP Loan Officer Link Harris, a lifelong Central Texan with many years of financial experience. “We take the time to understand each person’s story and to provide solutions that make sense for where they are in life.”
From helping families purchase their first home to supporting local entrepreneurs with business loans, the team at Woodway/Hewitt is committed to building relationships that last. Loan Officer Cory Hancock recalls a customer who came in recently, unsure about how to qualify for a mortgage. As Cory recalled, “We sat down, looked at her full financial picture and walked through the steps together. A few weeks later, she had the keys to her new home. That’s the best part of this job…helping people move forward.”
It’s not uncommon for customers to call or text their personal banker directly—something TFNB is well-known for. The personal connections are part of a long-standing philosophy that has guided the bank since its founding in 1889—relationships matter
“Having a local team makes a huge difference,” says Christy De Leon, President and CFO. “They aren’t just employees—they’re invested members of our community who want to see Hewitt and Woodway succeed.”
The location serves a wide range of needs—from routine checking and savings to complex lending solutions—and customers often remark on the ease of working with a team that makes decisions locally. No call centers. No long wait times. Just real conversations with people who care.
As Hewitt and Woodway continue to grow, the TFNB team is here to help guide that progress with personalized support and expert insight. Whether you’re starting a business, buying your first home, or simply looking for financial advice you can trust, the professionals at this location are ready to help.
And for those who haven’t stopped by yet—don’t be surprised if the folks behind the desk already know your name. That’s just the way TFNB does it.
