FOODelicious Catering: From Passion to CommunityDriven Culinary Excellence

Written By: Deborah Zalig, Founder and CEO, FOODelicious Catering

FOODelicious Catering was born from my lifelong passion for food and a dedication to a healthier, more personalized approach to catering. My career began early in the Chicago catering scene, where I managed high-profile events, crafting menus for intimate dinners and grand celebrations alike. Over the years, I honed my skills through roles in diverse settings—diners, country clubs, and more—each adding a unique layer to my expertise in crafting memorable dining experiences. This path, coupled with a personal journey toward health after an autoimmune diagnosis, laid the foundation for FOODelicious Catering, where food is both delicious and nourishing.

During the challenging years of widespread lockdowns and restrictions, FOODelicious pivoted to support our community in innovative ways. We began curating monthly boxed lunches for a corporate client, delivering 600+ meals across multiple locations. This unique service allowed employees to enjoy safe, gourmet meals during a difficult period of uncertainty. It was an opportunity to demonstrate that, even in the most demanding circumstances, we could meet large-scale needs with quality and care.

As events slowly returned, we adapted our offerings to meet evolving client expectations. For example, our partnership with the Greater Green Bay Chamber opened new avenues to engage with local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders. Working with the Chamber allowed us to help shape local events, bringing custom menus and a warm, memorable touch to gatherings that celebrate Green Bay’s entrepreneurial spirit. We’re also proud to continue our services at the Green Bay Botanical Garden, where we are a preferred caterer and have been the exclusive caterer for their Friday night concert series. This partnership allows us to share our culinary expertise in a scenic outdoor setting, serving fresh, seasonally inspired dishes that enhance the concert experience.

Our media collaborations, like appearances on Good Day Wisconsin with Emily Deem on WLUK FOX 11 and Living with Amy, helped FOODelicious share culinary tips and tricks with a broader audience, reinforcing our commitment to helping people create amazing meals at home and at events. These segments allowed us to showcase our signature clean, customized approach, bringing viewers into the world of FOODelicious and inspiring them to celebrate the art of food.

As we look to the future, FOODelicious Catering is excited to continue serving as a trusted culinary partner for corporate and community events. Whether it’s a largescale celebration, an intimate gathering, our signature curated charcuterie tables/ boards/boxes, or ongoing corporate catering, we offer food that delights and nourishes. FOODelicious is here to elevate every occasion, providing FOOD that is DELICIOUS and a unique touch for experiences you won’t forget.
