GOLDEN OYSTER AWARDS

The Greater Blu ton Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual awards gala, Presented by Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, at Pinckney Hall in Sun City on Saturday, March 18, 2023. More than 200 community leaders, volunteers, and local business professionals gathered to celebrate another year of Chamber businesses who have made substantial contributions to the Greater Blu ton Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Blu ton Area.

The highlight of the evening was honoring and recognizing award finalists and recipients. More than 45 businesses and individuals were nominated to receive an award for nine (9) di erent categories. Award nominations were vetted by individuals in the Chamber of Commerce industry from Louisiana, Tennessee, and Florida.

In addition to the above awards, one of the award recipients received the Pearl Award, Presented by Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, the highest honor that is awarded to a recipient based on standing out above the rest for their contributions and service to the Greater Blu ton area. Oceano Blue Media was recognized as the recipient of the 2022 Pearl Award
