Partnerships
As the Director of Partnerships at the Greater Baltimore Committee, Whit is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to advance the economic and social well-being of the Baltimore region. Whit has worked throughout his career in education, civic engagement and community building focused in the nonprofit and higher education spaces.
Previously, Whit served as the Associate Director of Civic Engagement at Johns Hopkins University, where he oversaw the design and implementation of student-focused community service and civic engagement programs. Before that, he served as the Director of Community Engagement at UNICEF USA, where he managed national efforts to engage US citizens around UNICEF’s global work.
Whit is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, holds a Master of Science in Public and Urban Policy from The New School in New York and a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Studies from Wheaton College in Massachusetts. He serves as an Election Judge in Baltimore City and as a board member of the Mount Washington Improvement Association. Whit resides in Baltimore City with his family.
