Brighton is nestled in England’s premier wine-producing region, the Sussex Winelands. This area boasts an array of exceptional vineyards, which we bring directly to you for your event. Our Sussex Wine Tastings provide guests with a unique chance to meet the region's talented winemakers and savor their award-winning wines without leaving the vibrant city.
A Unique Wine Journey
Whether you're a novice or a seasoned wine enthusiast, Sussex Wine Tastings promise an unforgettable experience. These events not only showcase some of the finest wines the region offers but also deepen your understanding and appreciation of the intricate winemaking process.
Led by a winemaker from a local Sussex vineyard, our Single Vineyard Wine Tasting invites guests to explore the distinct characteristics of a specific vineyard. You’ll learn about the vineyard’s locality, its vines, and the unique wines they produce. This tasting features at least four different wines.
Guided by a local Master Sommelier, our Multi Vineyard Wine Tasting takes you on a journey through a diverse selection of wines from Sussex vineyards. The sommelier will share their expertise on various grape varieties, production techniques, and tasting notes. This experience includes both sparkling and still wines, as well as some of the region’s spirits. These tastings are suitable for groups of up to 40 and can be held in your chosen venue or one of our suggested unique Brighton venues.

Historic Royal Pavilion
Located in the heart of Brighton City Centre, the Royal Pavilion is a Grade 1 listed palace with event spaces across the ground and first floors. The sumptuous interiors and rich history of the Royal Pavilion provide an enchanting backdrop for a Sussex Wine Tasting and an unforgettable dining experience.
William IV Room
With exquisite hand-painted Chinese style wallpaper and hanging lanterns, the William IV room offers an elegant setting for a wine tasting event, suitable for both day and evening gatherings.

Red Drawing Room
The beautiful Red Drawing Room, historically used by Prince George’s elegant guests, retains its original 1820s decorative charm with distinctive dragon wallpaper and palm tree pillars.

Adelaide Rooms
This sophisticated space includes two adjoining rooms with a sunny balcony, offering an unmatched view of the Royal Pavilion’s glorious Regency garden. Capacity: 50 across the two rooms
State Banqueting Room
The elaborate and glittering State Banqueting Room, known for its highly theatrical style, serves as the perfect backdrop for grand gatherings. Guests will marvel at the dazzling chandelier held by a silvered dragon and the extensive collection of Regency silver gilt on display.

The Great Kitchen
Known as the ‘King’s Kitchen,’ this modern-for-its-time kitchen conceived by Prince George features cast-iron columns adorned with painted copper palm leaves. It offers a spacious and exotic setting for a Sussex Wine Tasting and banquet-style dinner. Alternatively, begin with a wine tasting in the Great Kitchen, followed by a seated dinner in the State Banqueting Room. Capacity: 40
The Old Ship - Wine Cellars
The Old Ship Hotel: A Historic Seafront Venue
The Old Ship Hotel, Brighton’s oldest hotel, proudly stands on the bustling seafront.
Originating from the historic 'Shippe Inn,' its intriguing cellars date back to 1559.

Sky High Sussex Wine Tasting on the Brighton i360 Pod

As you gently ascend to 450ft, the breathtaking 360-degree views will offer a whole new perspective on Brighton, the South Downs, and the stunning Sussex coastline. Enjoy a Sussex Wine Tasting surrounded by the shimmering sea and city lights. Choose from canapés, bowl food, or a seated formal ‘Sky Dining’ experience.

Local Brews at Unbarred Brewery & Tap Room
In addition to its numerous vineyards, Sussex boasts an increasing number of breweries. For an informal event, Unbarred Brewery in central Brighton is an ideal choice for sampling local brews. Your guests will enjoy up to five beers and a guided talk from a certified beer server, covering tasting techniques, beer styles, and the UnBarred story. Delight your guests with catering provided by the local pizzeria, Fatto A Mano.
