WOW! It’s true that time flies when you are having FUN! On August 15th, Gravity’s AP department went live with Enverus OpenInvoice automation software. What is OpenInvoice? OpenInvoice is an invoice automation software that helps operators, service companies, and midstream oil and gas companies collaborate with their vendor network to automate compliance and reconciliation of invoices to purchase orders, pricing contracts, and field tickets.
Invoice receipt allows invoices to be received electronically. Electronic invoicing covers methods such as B2B/EDI connections, PDF invoicing, or receipt via a supplier portal, where data flows electronically. Once the data has been captured, invoices are either matched to purchase orders and goods receipts or get automatically routed to the relevant team or individual for review and approval. Once approved, they are sent to Netsuite for payment. All invoices are securely archived, and audit trails of all actions taken on invoices are easily available for financial audit purposes. Electronic archival of invoices also makes it easy to search for and find invoices anytime from anywhere.

A Word
AP Automation Covers 3 Components: – Invoice Receipt –
and Workflow – Archive and Audit
Matching
AP automation offers a multitude of benefits.
The key benefits are:
*Time Savings
AP Automation software makes invoice processing and approval faster and more efficient. By eliminating many of the manual stages of invoice processing, automation significantly reduces the number of human touches per invoice and as a result, minimizes the amount of time staff spend on this aspect of their role.
*Improved Efficiency
Automation streamlines the invoicing and payment process, reducing approval times and increasing productivity.
*Increased Accuracy
Automation increases accuracy by eliminating the risk of human error and helps reduce payment errors, such as duplicate or fraudulent payments.
*Reduced Costs
AP automation can significantly cut the cost of processing invoices, saving the business money as well as time and resources. Automation helps reduce labor costs by reducing the amount of data entry involved in the process.
*Built-in Compliance
When AP processes are automated, compliance rules are built into the system. This makes the process fully transparent, so that common risks and instances of fraud can be tracked and prevented.

Going live with OpenInvoice didn’t just impact the accounts payables department, it impacted the entire company from IT, procurement, management, and each division within Gravity. Transitioning into new ways of working can be overwhelming and stressful. The fear of change can have a negative impact on the adoption and implementation of OpenInvoice. It goes without saying that we had our challenges for sure with the implementation of OpenInvoice; however, the buy-in from Regional Admins, Accounting Associates, Managers, and Suppliers was very critical in making the implementation a success. We are still learning and becoming more familiar with the system every day. This project has proven that we are an amazing and dynamic TEAM!
Like always, if you have any questions or would like to work through any issues with OpenInvoice, I’m available!

Barrios Fine Mexican Dishes is named after the Barrios family, who is the cornerstone of all of A Good Egg Dining Group’s restaurants. Juan Barrios was working at Cheever’s Café in 2000 when the Pauls purchased the business, and he and his nephew Rufino still hold down that concept’s kitchen. Ruben and Jose Barrios joined the team in 2002 when the Pauls opened their second concept, Iron Star Urban BBQ, and they along with many other family members have been an integral part of the restaurant’s success. Juan’s son became the grillmaster at RED Primesteak when the concept opened in 2007, and was an invaluable asset. This is a very short list of Barrios family members that have and continue to leave their mark on A Good Egg Dining Group

I graduated in 2004, shortly after I attended Mortuary Science School to proceed with a degree as a director and mortician. I worked for several years with funeral homes in the area before making the decision to get into the oilfield Admin work suits me well, as I love to keep things organized and running smoothly In 2017, I joined a great team here with Gravity, and I have not looked back since. On days off, I enjoy spending time with my family at home with our fur babies, watching movies, and planning out fun weekends. When the weather is nice, my family and I like to BBQ and listen to some good old Tejano music

Since declaring its independence in 1776, the United States has fought in about a dozen major wars and intervened militarily in hundreds of others. Every generation of Americans has witnessed combat in one form or another, and as such, millions of Americans have, at one time or another, put on the uniform and sworn to protect our country, our liberty, and our lives. In this issue of Center of Gravity, we pause to honor all the brave men and women among us who have served our great nation in the Armed Forces.
For those of us who have never served in the military, or been the spouse or child of a service member, it is difficult, if not impossible, to understand the sacrifices made for all Americans by those few brave souls who have answered the call to serve. Few of us can comprehend what it’s like spending time away from family and loved ones, foregoing the pursuit of personal goals and aspirations, the physical and psychological toll of training and combat, and the wounds – seen or unseen – that remain long after the battle is over. While we can never truly understand their sacrifice or repay their service, we can honor them, be thankful for them and remember them.
At a Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11, 1988, President Ronald Reagan said, “We remember those who were called upon to give all a person can give, and we remember those who were prepared to make that sacrifice if it were demanded of them in the line of duty, though it never was. Most of all, we remember the devotion and gallantry with which all of them ennobled their nation as they became champions of a noble cause.”
Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Guardsmen – especially those of you we now call coworkers and friends, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! You are all heroes, and we thank you and honor you on this Veterans Day!
