Director of Operations North Region

Personally, in the 14 years I’ve been with Gravity, there have been a few changes. My wife of 33 years and I have 3 daughters, and in that time they each have had 3 children, giving us 9 beautiful grandchildren.
As important as family is to me, THANK YOU is the “word” I’d like to share with everyone. Okay, that is technically two words, but you get the idea. Fourteen years ago, I helped start Wellsite Leasing, and a few years after, we sold to LTR (now Gravity). At that time, I answered calls from customers while delivering or repairing equipment. Customer service is what made us successful then and continues to be the main reason we are successful now.

The team of employees we have working with us is the best in our industry. Most of our branch managers, sales team, and coordinators in the north started their careers working in the field. I am impressed with the number of years some of our people have been with us. We understand that the weather conditions can be harsh. This year we’ve had record snowfall (over 100” in Dickinson). Bad roads, long hours that extend into the night, and working on equipment that produces electricity are the most significant dangers of our job. Safety and returning to our families at the end of the day is our number one priority. Most of our branches have years without a recordable accident, not days. That is commendable and needs to stay our #1 priority.

Again, to all employees, my word (or words) is “THANK. YOU”. Our Gravity Team is #1 in customer service because of your efforts.

While Memorial Day may mean family gatherings and picnics for some, this holiday is a time to pay tribute. Even decades later, sometimes there’s confusion around what this holiday is about.
Memorial Day is a time to pay tribute to the fallen. On Memorial Day, we honor those who died serving in the military. Many veterans would agree that this is not a day to thank a veteran but remember those who have paid the ultimate price.

A number of military members would also agree that this day is not one to be celebrated but more so observed.

We here at Gravity are so grateful for the men and women who have sacrificed for our freedom and for their comrades.

Many may know that we have a Business Office in Odessa, Snyder, Lubbock, and of course, our Corporate Office in Houston, but did you know that we also have a Business Office in Oklahoma City? At this location, we have operations and sales management for Power and Containment for both the Central Region and the segments as a whole. While just a few key people use this office regularly, it also serves as a meeting place with a large conference room where several area, regional, and segment management meetings have been held. The employees who call this office home share a great deal of combined knowledge and experience in the power/rental business.

I was born and raised in Odessa, TX I have four siblings – three sisters and one brother – and I am the baby of the family. My parents were both born in Mexico; they worked hard and sacrificed daily to give us a better life. They came to the United States when they were only 20 years old It wasn’t easy for them, but they did everything they could to get here.

I started working when I was 14 years old. My first job was as a cashier at the concession stand at a local bingo hall I worked very hard for what I always wanted, and I learned that from my parents They always would tell me, “You have to work for what you want. Nothing in this world is free.” I graduated in 2010 from Odessa High School. I have spent a lot of my life going from job to job, but I could never find a place where I wanted to stay
Since coming on board with Gravity, I now know this is where I belong. I believe everyone longs for a sense of belonging, and not everyone has that in their job, so I feel especially blessed to be here at Gravity, where I feel a part of a team, needed, and appreciated. Thank you, Gravity, for the opportunity.

C. Eurovision
The Eurovision Song Contest (a.k.a. Eurovision) is an international song competition organized annually by the European Broadcasting Union, featuring participants representing primarily European countries. Each participating country submits an original song to be performed on live television and radio, transmitted to national broadcasters via the EBU's Eurovision and Euro radio networks, with competing countries then casting votes for their opponents' songs to determine a winner.

A. Brooklyn & Manhattan
At the time, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world. The Brooklyn Bridge connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn by spanning the East River.
B. The President
No presidents have died in May. None of the four presidents who died in April finished their presidential terms – three by death and one by resignation.
