HoLIDAY EDITION

Each month we bring you a location from a different state, a different division, showcasing our incredible employees from across eight states. For this month's featured “branch,” we are giving you a sneak peek inside our Houston corporate office.

From the Energy Capital of the World, Gravity’s Houston Headquarters is home to some of our most critical problem solvers. One special thing about this office is, though they are hundreds of miles away from most of our branches, everyone in this C-Suite Headquarters is willing to jump on a Teams call to help solve a problem, walk you through possible solutions, and provide leadership throughout all the changes our company has seen.
Just as each employee and division have their unique purpose and role within our company, our corporate headquarters is unique in casting vision for our company. American author Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr., once said, “The great thing in the world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving.”
It is usually mentioned (in some form or fashion) in each featured branch article, spotlight employee article, “A word from” piece, etc., about the significance of our boots on the ground. We can all look at other people, divisions, talents, and more within this company and say truthfully, “You are a part of keeping this company moving forward” because it’s true.
As we wrap up 2022, we want to say a special thank you to our Corporate Headquarters, “Vision Casters.” In this family, whether your boots land in the flatlands of North Dakota, the hills of Wyoming, the Houston Headquarters, or the sand dunes of New Mexico, what you do, matters. May we grow closer as a family and more profitable as a company as we enter 2023.

“In

I’ve been with Gravity for 10 years now. I started in 2012 working in HR as a Personnel Representative. I had originally applied for an opening as a Benefits Representative working with Trudie Hinkle, however, it was not meant for me to be in that role yet. In 2014, I had an opportunity to learn a new position as a Payroll Coordinator. I feel I gained a lot of experience with both roles, which has helped me transition into my current role as a Benefits Representative. I truly feel like I’m where I’m supposed to be. My Gravity journey has come full circle. I enjoy helping Gravity team members with their Benefit elections and questions and feel like I help make a positive difference every day
I’m very thankful for the opportunities I have been given. I’m also thankful that I have learned the importance of work-life balance. My family is very important to me My husband, Gary, and I have been married 28 years. We have three children, Jettie, Kaden, and Hunter. When the kids were young, they competed in Jr Rodeos in New Mexico and Texas, so we traveled a lot We still have a barn full of horses, one pony, and three dogs. As a family, we still enjoy traveling and watching Kaden team rope. If I could tell my younger self one thing I’ve learned, it would be, “Life is short, so enjoy it to the fullest.”
I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas!
