Rosehip Seed Oil

Rosehip Seed Oil

Rosehips - the fruit of the wild rose - have been used in the traditional herbal medicine for hundreds of years. Grapoila rosehip seed oil is rich in the healthy polyunsaturated and essential fatty acids, and is extremely high in Vitamin-E and A, phytosterols and other antioxidant ingredients. It has a light red color, and a fruity yet mild taste. This delicate, culinary oil is perfect for flavouring salads and cold dishes, and decorating meals.

Rosehip seed oil can be used also topically on skin, in fact it is a highly sought after cosmetic oil. It can restore the skins moisture balance, has an anti-aging effect, helps the natural production of collagen and elastin, and the regeneration process of cells. For skin care and massage, mix it with lighter base oils or seed muds.

This oil is also used in the pharmaceutical industry as an ingredient for vitamin supplements.

The Grapoila cold-pressed rosehip seed oil has been prized in 2020 with a Silver Award at the International Taste Awards (ITA) blind-tasting food contest.
