GO WILD HOMESCHOOL EXPEDITION

Are your kids into nature and science? Are you looking for activities to keep them engaged in the great outdoors? This program is geared towards elementaryaged children, providing an outdoor education and recreation experience for your child each month! Date: First and Third Wednesdays of the Month (September, October & November) Time: 9:00 am – 11:00 pm Location: Meadowmere Park, 3000 Meadowmere Lane Ages: 5 – 12 years old Fee: $15

INTRODUCTION TO FLY FISHING

This introductory course will take the most novice fishing enthusiast and turn them into a seasoned fly fisher. Following a systematic curriculum, Introduction to Fly Fishing will take you through the basics of equipment, forward casting, and back casting with ample hands-on experience and instruction from a veteran fly fishing instructor. ALL EQUIPMENT IS PROVIDED. Dates: Mondays, October 3, 10, 17 & 24 Location: Pickering Park Time: 6:00 – 7:00 pm Ages: 15 + years Fee: $55

INTRODUCTION TO ARCHERY

This introductory course can take a young beginner and turn them into a seasoned archer. Come take aim and explore the dynamic sport of archery through various challenges, games, and activities. Cover the steps of shooting, range safety, form, and equipment of archery. ALL EQUIPMENT IS PROVIDED. Dates: Tuesdays, September 6, 13, 20, & 27 Location: Meadowmere Park Fee: $65

ARCHERY LEAGUES

This archery league gives kids and teens the opportunity to continue the archery skills they learned from the Introduction to Archery class by providing an open range for more shooting time. ALL EQUIPMENT IS PROVIDED. Prerequisites: Participants must take one session of the introduction to archery before joining a league. Dates: Tuesdays, October 4, 11, 18 & 25 Location: Meadowmere Park Ages: 7 – 18 years old Fee (Drop-in / Per day): $10

FAMILY CAMP OUTS

Join Grapevine Parks and Recreation for a night under the stars as we campout at Meadowmere Park. Make sure to pack your tents and sleeping bags as we set out for an adventure! Learn the basics while enjoying themed activities for the whole family! The fee includes campsite, activities, dinner, and breakfast.
