FINANCE & OPERATIONS UPDATE
From Dr. David Armstrong From Dr. David Armstrong
Dear Faithful Families and Friends,
As I reflect on the incredible generosity you've shown through our Lion Legacy Fund and Annual Gala, my heart overflows with gratitude.
Your philanthropic hearts have made remarkable things possible for this place we call Faith. Thanks to your donations and the proceeds from our Lion Legacy Fund and Annual Gala's Special Appeal, we've accomplished initiatives that will impact our students for years to come. We've upgraded security cameras, additional installations planned and funded. We refurnished six classrooms at the high school and have been able to provide assistance to families who share our vision for Christ-centered education but need financial support.
Witnessing how your love for the Lord translates into tangible blessings for our school community is a testament to God’s faithfulness. Each gift whether large or small represents a partnership that goes far beyond financial support. You're investing in the hearts and minds of young people who will carry God's love into the world.
Your continued partnership with Grapevine Faith Christian School demonstrates the power of believers working together for Kingdom purposes. We don't take this trust lightly, and we're committed to stewarding your gifts with excellence and integrity.
Thank you for believing in our mission and for making these achievements possible. We're excited to share more updates on how your generosity continues to bear fruit in the lives of our students.
With deepest appreciation and blessings,
David Armstrong, Ed.D., CPA Vice President of Finance and Operations

ADVANCEMENT UPDATES | AUGUST 2025
We are blessed by your partnership and continuously overwhelmed by your generosity. Thank you for helping us advance the mission of Grapevine Faith Christian School. Below are updates since our last report.
Lion Legacy Fund Update | $192,548
Through the generosity of our community, the Lion Legacy Fund raised $192,548 in support of our mission:
$100,489 provided new classroom furnishings for six learning spaces. These updates allowed us to outfit six of the eight classrooms identified as needing refreshed furniture, creating more welcoming and functional environments for both students and teachers.
$54,059 strengthened our Scholarship Fund, which provides needsbased financial assistance administered through FACTS. This aid helps Faith families bridge the gap between available resources and the cost of tuition, ensuring that more students can remain a part of our school community and pursue the opportunity to become authentic Christian leaders, the very heart of our mission.
$38,000 in additional designated gifts supported other areas across our school.
The 2025 Annual Gala | $437,601
The 2025 Annual Gala, Awe and Wonder, raised $437,601. Of the total amount raised:
$96,180 was designated to the 2025 Special Appeal, a campus improvement and safety initiative to install 33 cameras at Worth Street and 38 cameras at Dallas Road, fulfilling both interior and exterior surveillance requirements. As of today, 26 of these cameras have been installed, providing us 42 unique camera views with mobile accessibility and movement notifications. The majority have been installed on the exterior of our buildings with more planned for interior use, specifically at Worth Street

Through the generosity of anonymous donors, our football and soccer field received new turf, and a beautiful new monument-style sign now welcomes students and families to the Worth Street campus. We are grateful for these unexpected blessings that came outside of our advancement plan.
