GC Life COVID-19 NOTICE - COMING BACK TOGETHER ON SEPTEMBER 12TH! We are looking forward welcoming you back to worship every week in-person at our gathered services, starting Sunday, September 12th. The BC Ministry of Health has said, “as COVID-19 vaccinations are administered throughout the province, we can gather in-person again to share hope, healing, restoration and recovery.” This is encouraging news! We will continue to monitor updates from the Public Health Office, and although restrictions have been lifted, we are mindful that levels of confidence and comfort within our community vary. To this end, it is important that we all continue to adopt positive prevention measures this is the best way we can show our love and care for one another, and support those working tirelessly to defeat this disease. And if this is feels still too much for you right now, that’s fine - our services will continue to be made available through the Live Stream. PASTORAL LETTER | SEPTEMBER 2ND, 2021 Thank you for your prayers for Andy and Marlene, for their family and for our church community this past week. We have prayed in our homes, at Granville Chapel, on Zoom, alone, gathered with friends, while out walking, running, driving… we ‘pray without ceasing’, because we know that ‘the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective’, and even though we don’t always know how to pray, ‘the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words’ (1 Thessalonians 5.16-18; James 5.16; Romans 8.26). Read more here. PRAYER & WORSHIP EVENINGS | SEPTEMBER 14TH & 28TH, 2021 We’ll continue to get together to pray this month.
