Tenielle Hubbard - Our Sales Associate

Tenille Hubbard is recently a high school graduate from our local high school here in Dalby. In 2023 Tenille made the decision that real estate would be the right path for her. Working in real estate administration for 18 months as a school-based trainee she worked hard to secure a full-time position as a sales assistant.

Although she has only lived in the Dalby area for 3 years Tenille has made the most of it submerging herself into the community. Early 2024, Tenille set off to Cambodia to help build classrooms and teach kids. Here is where she found her love of traveling and getting to know new communities

Later that year in April, Tenille competed at New South Wales to represent Pony Club Queensland in campdrafting, placing in the top 10 bringing home a sash. This event would award her the Western Downs Council Australia Day sports award coming into 2025. Throughout this, she trained very hard with her team to complete the 48km Kokoda Challenge at the Gold Coast in July.

Her busy year of 2024 has taught her time management, personal growth and the importance of consistency. She is committed to helping her fellow Real Estate agents and strives to learn all she can about the market, the process of buying or selling and her community.

True to anticipated trends, Pittsworth property activity saw a drop in the number of homes sold in December 2024 and January 2025 off the back of a very strong November 2024 which recorded 18 sales for the month to end the highest monthly total for the prior 12 month period.

The average property price in Pittsworth for the period 1/2/24 to 1/2/25 settles at *$503,431 with 114 properties sold in an average of 45 days on market. Recipe:

Mars Bar Slice

THE PERFECT SWEET TREAT

INGREDIENTS:

75g (1/ 3) butter

150g Mars Bars chopped

1 tablespoon (20g) golden syrup

3 cups (90g) rice bubbles or any puffed rice

250g (1 2/3 cups) milk chocolate

1 tablespoon (20g) coconut oil or vegetable oil (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Melt the butter, 100g (two thirds) of the Mars Bars and golden syrup on low heat in a saucepan (or in 30 second bursts in the microwave on 50% power).

Grease and line a 18cm X 22cm rectangular slice tin with baking paper and set aside.

2. Stir through the rice bubbles and the remaining Mars Bar (chopped).

Please note: the Mars Bars will not completely melt. Mix until the butter and golden syrup are smooth.

3. Press mixture very firmly into the prepared tin.

4. Place milk chocolate and coconut oil/vegetable oil in a heatproof bowl. Microwave on medium for 3 minutes, 50% power, or until just melted, stirring every 30 seconds with a metal spoon. Stir until smooth.

5. Spread over slice and refrigerate until firm (a minimum of 3-4 hours - or best overnight).

6. Remove slice from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cutting into squares with a warm serrated knife.
