Cart Paths
Cart path edges are easily damaged when driven over repeatedly.
When cart path only, try to refrain from straying from the cart path. Wet turf is very susceptible to injury. When cart path only, drive slowly through a puddle on a cart path, rather than driving around it.
Ball Marks
Incorrectly and unrepaired repaired ball marks take a significant amount of time to heal. Not only do they look bad, but they also adversely impact the roll of golf balls. This results in slower, and bumpier putts.
Just because your ball finished off the green, that doesn’t necessarily mean that your ball didn’t initially impact the green.
A great practice to adopt would be to fix your mark, and one other, to ensure that the green will roll true, and fast for members who follow behind.
