LEVIATHAN follows Ahab, a ship captain hell-bent on capturing the white whale: Moby Dick, a beast as vast and dangerous as the sea itself, yet serene and beautiful beyond all imagining. Ahab’s crew is drawn into the unhinged charisma of their captain, blindly following him on his perilous adventure towards almost certain destruction. Multi-award winning choreographer James Wilton re-imagines Herman Melville’s seminal novel, Moby Dick. Featuring a cast of 7, Wilton’s trademark blend of athletic dance, martial arts, capoeira and partner-work, LEVIATHAN will have you on the edge of your seat. It will leave you gasping for air under the sheer ferocity of movement, all accompanied by a powerful electro-rock soundtrack by Lunatic Soul. Rhydian rose to fame as a runaway success on ITV’s X Factor. Since then he has sold in excess of a million albums worldwide, released 6 albums and duetted and performed with some of the biggest names in the music industry. His many theatre credits include Grease, We Will Rock You, The War Of The Worlds, Jesus Christ Superstar and the 40th Anniversary Tour of The Rocky Horror Show. Rhydian has just completed his third solo UK tour and is a Classical Brit Award nominee With music by the legendary Alan Menken, best known for his numerous Walt Disney film scores, Little Shop of Horrors is a cult film and one of the longest running off-Broadway shows of all time. For over 12 years Steve could be found in the guise of Mad Edgar the court jester at Camelot theme park where he presented over 2000 Crazy Juggling Shows. He has also supported both Peter Kay and Dave Spikey on tour and was voted “Entertainer of the Year” at the recent Red Rose Awards.
