Thanks to our partnerships and charitable Owners, we were honored to host seven breast cancer survivors at the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort this fall. The ladies enjoyed delicious chef-prepared meals, self-care workshops, and crafting memorable keepsakes.
The week culminated in a fundraiser event that was open to all resort associates, guests, and owners and was filled with pink-themed food and drinks, live music, a wishing wall—and above all, an outpouring of love and support for these brave women. We continue to be touched by your immense generosity and look forward to gifting many more vacations to survivors for an opportunity to reflect and connect with one another in a beautiful and restorative setting.

Christine has been part of our team for over ten years and enjoys assisting owners with their benefits and helping make their vacations a reality. Her favorite part of the job is that each day is the gift of a new experience. She loves getting to talk to a variety of folks, helping them plan everything from their annual vacation to a family reunion, to honeymoons, and so much more!
During her many years of making meaningful connections with owners, Christine has learned that owners consider their home resort and the associates as part of their family. Her most memorable professional moment being the time she helped an owner who had lost a parent plan a “Celebration of Life” at Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort. She learned that they wanted to celebrate their parent’s life where they had made so many cherished memories.
“I was so grateful to help them,” explains Christine. “The experience made me realize I’m not just making a reservation—I’m helping make a memory that could impact a family for the rest of their lives.”
Christine enjoys talking with owners and says that her most common requests are for the most budget friendly resort options and to vacation in Southern California. Her advice to owners looking to book their next vacation is to plan far in advance so the GPVS team can make their vacation dreams come true!
Along with being passionate about the vacation experience, she is also a dedicated grandmother. With her music background and musically inclined family, she enjoys singing with her daughters and grandchildren. Her family loves to vacation at Grand Pacific Palisades because it’s perfect for all ages! Their favorite resort amenities are the family pool and arcade. Christine says her grandson always asks, “Nana, when are we going to the resort again!”
