2007 Grand Visitations

GENERAL INFORMATION Grand Visitations to the Constituent Lodges in 2007 will be made on the dates and at the locations indicated herein. Note that visitations to some Lodges are not in their usual meeting places or not on their stated communication nights.

All visitations scheduled for the same dates are joint visitations and will be held in the same Lodge room. Where a joint visitation is scheduled, the Lodge shown first will be the Host Lodge and will receive the Grand Master. The Host Lodge will coordinate with the other Lodges and arrange for music and refreshments (to be served prior to the opening of the Lodge).

All visitations begin with the entrance of the Grand Master and his suite at 8:00 P.M. except on Saturday,October 20 (10:30 A.M.). The host Lodge in every instance will open ½ hour prior to the entrance of the Grand Master and his suite. In all cases the Grand Lodge must be admitted promptly.

REPORTS: Each Worshipful Master will forward his full report for the year to the Office of the Grand Secretary, AT LEAST 10 DAYS PRIOR TO HIS VISITATION. However, reports presented at the Visitation should be limited to three (3) minutes, expressing the vision and the mission of the Lodge. The Secretary and Treasurer of each Lodge will transmit their books to the Grand Secretary for the customary examination by the Grand Secretary and Grand Treasurer after the close of the year (Sept. 30) but no later than October 30, 2007

DRESS: Grand Lodge Officers will wear white tie and tails, white apron, gloves and name badge for all visitations. Lodge Officers are requested to wear tuxedos and their lodge’s apron and regalia Past Grand Masters are requested to wear tuxedos with their ornate or white apron. All others are requested to wear coat and tie and their lodge’s apron.
