Alberta wildfires have burned over 673,00 hectares this year. As of August 6, there are 64 active wildfires in the ForestProtectionArea,including14thatareoutofcontrol, 6beingheld,and44undercontrol.
Alberta’sgovernmentisseekinginputfromfuelsellersand purchasers, particularly in agriculture, oil and gas, and forestry, on a proposal to shift the marked fuel tax exemption to clear fuel. This survey is open until August 31st.
